"Alright, so I may have misunderstood the instructions a bit..." Dylan admitted; holding his notepad like usual as a small army of people clad in martial-arts clothes patrolled the city, their ranks were decided by the series of colourful belts they wore.
"..."
JohnWillStab looked around, seeing the "martial-law-enforcers" doing kick-flips, cart-wheels and back-flips around the city.
He noticed one of them attack the mangy street-dog by literally suplexing it.
"Are you guys sure Curstl is alright after the whole underground thing?" he asked uncertainly, the whole occasional-personality-change thing was pretty standard for some in the world, but John felt as if they neglected to check for any actual brain damage.
"Perhaps tis not such a bad thing, they seem to be having fun!" Bonifacius remarked.
Dylan pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Yeah, ok... I'll get in contact with the jGuardians... " Dylan sighed.
After bringing up the issue with all the martial-artists, Dylan sat in his office, reading over several 'complaint forms' from the citizens of Glummington.
"Yeah, what's poppin' It's me, Kevi-" he crumpled the page and tossed it into the nearby trashcan.
"Ok, I don't know why you still didn't do anything about it, but we NEED a waterslide! Sincerely, Kevin." as with the previous page, he tossed it away.
"DAMN IT, KEVIN! I don't have time to deal with your chromosome deficiency..." he cursed, leaning back in his chair for just a second before remembering he had a lot more paperwork to look through.
"Good evening, my name is Bob Surnamesonn, I am a small-time ancient Roman farmer suffering from a serious drought, I was hoping you could install an aqueduct running through the city, preferably with a series of loop-da-loops leading to my farm, right beside Kevin's home, sincerely Bob Surnamesonn."
Dylan narrowed his eyes, placing the page to the side before moving onto the next one.
"Heyyyyyyy, what's poppin' - I don't want to be THAT GUY but I spoke to Lorb about this and he confirmed that a water-slide is the only constitutional right in the world, so..."
Dylan hung his head, realizing most of these letters were just from Kevin.
"OI! STOP THAT!"
Dylan heard somebody yell that from outside, he stood up and made his way to his window, seeing an army of new martial-artists, wearing berets and wielding paintbrushes.

They were running around the city, painting motivational messages onto the walls; like the kind one would find inside a gym.
"No pain, no gain!"
"Pain is temporary, chronic pain is forever!"
"When you think about quitting, think about why you started!"
"We demand water sli-" Dylan saw Kevin in the process of spray-paining the graffiti opposite his window.
"..."
"This job is a nightmare..." Dylan admitted to himself.
Kevin quickly glanced and back to his graffiti before slowly turning back, realizing that Dylan caught him red-handed.
"By: Not-Kevin," he added a misleading signature.
"..."
"Fuck the police, XD" he added, before running off, sticking both of his middle fingers out at Dylan in the process.
"..."
"I quit." He finally decided.
"I do feel a bit guilty, leaving everyone in this mess... but I'm done, clearly, I'm not made for the job."
He left his keys on the table and marched out of the building and into the streets, walking past JohnWillStab who carried a large sack of salt.
"Oh, Dylan, hey, listen, there's a bit of a situation..." John began, glancing over to his bag of salt.
"A few of the martial-dudes ate a bunch of salt, thinking it was protein power, so they're kind of dead."
He looked down to his feet.
"I tried to tell them, but they just kept flexing more and more aggressively so I handed them a bag and shadow-stepped while they devoured it..."
Dylan smiled proudly.
"That's not my problem, JohnWillStab; I quit my job!" he exclaimed.
"..."
"You realize a city without a leader in the middle of a crisis is a pretty slippery slope-...?" John asked.
"I'M NOT BUILDING A WATER SLDIE!" he cried, taking several angry breaths before calming down.
"S-sorry... just some... work-related trauma..." he explained.
John nodded awkwardly.
"Don't worry about it...?" he replied.
For the first time since the start of the isekai, Dylan walked around care-free.
He could remember his descent into madness starting from the first day of the isekai, being one of the maybe-ten people with an understanding of how governing things works, Dylan decided to temporarily rule over Glummington.
His greatest fear, the idea of some big faction attacking them was taken care of when the jGuardians offered to annex them while leaving them some autonomy.
"Granted, things weren't exactly perfect..."
"The Felix situation..."
"Violet left to become a professional golf player..."
"And then Kevin moved in..." he shuddered.
Meanwhile, as Dylan walked around the freshly-painted streets, a certain ghost followed him.
"But I'm serious, man - the water slide really isn't that bad of an idea!" Felix exclaimed, sounding a little disappointed with Dylans reluctance to install anything fun to do in the town.
"I mean, I'm not just saying this because all I can do is walk around and eat imaginary food..." he clarified.
Felix breathed a sigh.
"Look, I know you can't hear me, buddy, but you could at least pretend..." he remarked with a wry smile.
He scratched his chin.
"I wonder what the creepy fish dude is up to..." Felix wondered, following Dylan through the many streets and alleys.
"He just walked up to me one day and wouldn't stop staring at me..." his expression grew more disgusted.
"He really creeped me out..."
"I tried hiding in some of the dark, abandoned alleys but he would always sneak up and scare the shit out of me, I started sleeping with places that always had the lights on just to keep the fishman away..."
He sighed.
"I was going to check up on Bromy and Alex, their new house looks pretty cool, but that weird ghost in their house is freaking me out..."
"Plus, there's the vampire sneaking around Bromy's basement... I don't think he realised it yet..."
Felix thought, recalling spying on him through the small window to his basement.
"Creepy..."
He looked down to his feet.
"..."
"I want my body back, already..." he lamented, following Dylan into his home.
