As John retrieved the loot from the now dead boss, Bromy, Bonifacius and the vampire charged through the hotel-illusion once more, the hordes of undead becoming more manageable.
On one side giant glass windows with a view to the burning city, on the other doors and more alleys, each one filled to the brim with zombies.
"HOW'D WE GET HERE?!" demanded Bromy, he didn't notice the shift from them laying around in the forest to them running through a modern building.
"We have defeated thy fear, tis why thy illusion ended, I have entered here with my fear earlier, though he is now dead," Bonifacius exclaimed.
In reality, he was simply speculating.
"Wait, so... is this a multiplayer dream?" asked Bromy.
"Perhaps something like that?" replied Bonifacius uncertainly.
"So are the others here?" he asked.
"I think so!" Bonifacius replied.
"Then we should find them! Together this will go faster!" Bromy exclaimed looking back and seeing the horde of zombies.
"Hey, vampire, do something useful and kill those zombies!" Bromy instructed.
"I can't, I require more blood!" she exclaimed.
This whole time she was still hitching a ride on Bromy's back.
"Thou can drink my blood if that helps!" Bonifacius offered.
"Nnnn.... nah... I have decided that Bromy is the best blood source around!" she exclaimed.
On one hand, as a doctor Bromy found it hard to ignore a compliment about his blood, on the other... it was the vampire.
"I see! Bromy please offer our ally some of thy blood!" Bonifacius pleaded.
"No! I don't want any vampire-diseases, how many other people has she sucked?!" demanded Bromy.
"Ah!? I can't believe you would accuse a noble vampire of such a thing!" he said tightening her grip on Bromy's back such that her nails buried into his shoulders.
Bonifacius turned to Bromy, he was still running, just backwards.
"Bromy, I can offer thee my blood in exchange for you offering thy blood to the vampire!" Bonifacius exclaimed.

"I'M NOT A VAMPIRE! I CAN'T DRINK YOUR BLOOD!" Bromy exclaimed.
Bonifacius scratched his chin, "Thou are correct... then -" he looked up to the vampire "I'll give thee my blood, thou will place my blood in Bromy and drink his blood - thus keeping net-blood levels up!" he exclaimed.
"That could work...!" said the vampire scratching her chin.
"How the hell am I supposed to put blood into Bromy!?" she thought.
"HOW IS SHE SUPPOSED TO PUT BLOOD IN ME!?" Bromy thought.
"NO! NO, IT COULDN'T!" Bromy exclaimed looking back and seeing the undead hordes coming even closer.
"In any case, we are running out of time!" Bonifacius called out.
Bromy let out a sigh.
"Well, crap... looks like there's only one way out of this..." he said.
Bonifacius smiled thinking he would offer some blood to the vampire, but instead, Bromy threw the vampire off his back and kept running.
The look on Bonifacius' face went from a smile to a frown in a split second.
"Bromy!" he exclaimed turning back to rescue the vampire, that's when he noticed the vampire wasn't being attacked.
Bonifacius' eyes widened as he saw it.
"She's alright! Thou knew the undead wouldn't attack a vampire!" Bonifacius exclaimed looking at Bromy who nervously nodded.
"Yes, of course... who wouldn't know what!" he laughed nervously.
The vampire stood back up, hitching a ride on one of the dozens of zombies.
"GET HIM!" she cried pointing at Bromy.
Fearing for his life, the zombie did as instructed.
"Wait, hold on, thou can command the zombies?!" Bonifacius asked looking at the vampire who herself just realised it.
Her face lit up.
"That's right!" she exclaimed.
"Zombies! Stop!" as commanded, the zombies all stopped in their tracks and looked towards her.
"Kill Bromy!" she instructed as the zombies began shambling towards Bromy.
Effortlessly, Bromy snatched the vampire from her zombie with a vine spell and placed her in a chokehold.
"Stop that! Stop it! I'm coking!" the vampire exclaimed struggling.
"Bromy, please stop!" Bonifacius pleaded.
"YOU WIN, FINE! ACHH! AIR! OXY-GUCH..." her eyes rolled back into her skull as she passed out.
"Better..." Bromy sighed placing her over his shoulder once more.
"Alright, let's move!" he instructed looking to the slightly upset Bonifacius.
"Thou didn't have to choke the poor girl!" Bonifacius exclaimed.
"True, but I wanted to!" he replied before breaking into a sprint as the zombies made chase.
They turned to a door, it was blocked so they kicked it open before rushing inside and re-blocking the door.
They all breathed a sigh of relief as they saw Alex, Thal and Olivionion sitting on a couch, Alex and Olivionion were eating what looked like a sandwich while watching TV.
Meanwhile, Thal sat on the couch surrounded by several bits of cutlery, knives, forks and even a rolling pin.
All of them looked at each other in silence before Alex and Olivionion spoke up in unison.
"Sandwich?"
Bromy tossed the vampire to the side, she knocked her head on a nearby counter, Bonifacius rushed over and picked her up, giving Bromy a dirty look as he carried her over to the bedroom where he placed her on the bed to rest up.
"What the hell are you people doing here?!" demanded Bromy.
"Us? We're just chilling..." Alex replied taking another bite of his sandwich.
"They have Sp*ngebob re-runs here!" he exclaimed pointing to the TV.
"How fucking old was Alex in real life?! WHY IS HE WATCHING CARTOONS?!" thought Bromy.
Unbeknownst to Bromy, Alex was in his twenties.
"More importantly, they have food!" Alex exclaimed gesturing towards the fridge.
"Yeah, I can't fight the zombies, they make me go into slow motion, so I decided to watch some TV," replied Olivionion taking another bite of his sandwich.
Bonifacius took out the endless bread supply and began making food.
"Does anybody want a sandwich?" he asked.
"Just butter, ham and cheese," Olivionion exclaimed.
"Right!"
"I'll have one with everything except mustard!"
Exclaimed Alex.
Bromy looked at the group in disbelief.
He walked up to the fridge, grabbed some cheese, he sliced a piece off, placed it between to slices of bread and placed it on a frying pan.
"Dear God... what is he doing?!" asked Alex.
"I think he's melting the cheese..." Bonifacius replied.
A few minutes later Bromy was enjoying a nice hot meal much to the envy of everyone else.
Bonifacius soon compleated a massive plate of sandwiches, they weren't fancy themselves, just bread and basic ingredients.
It was a mountain of about two dozen sandwiches.
They were arranged in a spiral pattern.
