Bromy and the Vampire walked through the long tunnel they found themselves in, soon they were greeted with a giant spider, it was no less than ten times the size of a regular human, its long, black legs covered in thin hairs.
The vampire let out a screech as she started running in the opposite direction, ready to abandon Bromy to his faith only to bump into a giant worm, also grossly oversized.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS PLACE?!" she demanded.
Bromy let out a sigh, "Think about this reasonably, we were walking in a big group and magically found ourselves alone and surrounded by giant bugs, in a completely alien location." Bromy replied.
"This is obviously an illusion." he replied.
"An illusion?!" asked the vampire, get got off the ground and patted her dress clean before walking back to Bromy.
"Yeah, obviously, a spider that big couldn't exist - it's weight would kill it, an elephant is already pushing the limits of land creatures, but this?" Bromy laughed before walking up to the monster and stabbing it causing it to dispurse into a small flood of centipedes.
"In the game, the next boss was meant to rely on the player's darkest fears to kill us... naturally, that manifested as generic blad tentiacles and bugs - but now, I gues he resorted to scary illusions." Bromy explained.
"You killed it..." she remarked.
"Yup, looks like this is your nightmare-scenario, you better return the favour when my one kicks in," Bromy said as he continued walking through the long tunnel until the entered a forest, killing the occasional bug.
"This is one big ass illusion..." Bromy remaked.
"What if it's real, thought?!" demanded the vampire.
Bromy turned around to face his companion.
"Then I just turned a giant spider to centipedes with a normal scalpel." he replied.
A long roar came from the forest, that's when they saw it, a skinny humanoid, at least the size of a radio tower.
It's arms dragged on the floor behind it.
Stolen novel; please report.
"Bwhuuuuuuuuuuu" the loud, air-horn like sound made the earth trembled at the creature's head decented from the clouds, its head was a spotlight as it scanned the forest for its prey.
Bromy nonchelantly lit a cigarette.
"Spooky." he remarked before making his way towards the monster, scalpel in hand.
Meanwhile...
JohnWillStab lined his group against a wall, each one of them seemed like they were passed out.
"Well, I know there is still one solution that might work!" John thought as he turned towards the next boss' location.
"I'll beat your ass myself, hear that evil boss?!" JohnWillStab called out before grabbing his dagger.
While JohnWillStab was doing that everyone else remained trapped.
Bonifacius was running through his childhood home, chased by a giant, room-size creature.
Thal and Alex were in the same illusion thanks to the fact their souls and entangled together.
Bromy and the Vampire were also trapped in the same illusion because of their close proximity to eachother.
Olivionion, Curstl, Revenberry and Jordan where still a mystery.
In Olivionion's illusion...
Olivionion was walking through a zombie apocalypse, he was in a tall sky scraper, the bottom was slowly burning as the flames clung to its side.
Blackened, decomposing corpses moved their way towards him, every time he was about to fight one he felt his strength dissapear, it was like trudging through melasis or being stuck in slow motion.
Olivionion charged at one enemy, he held a lamp as an improvised weapon, he tried to swing it at the zombie only for him to once again, lose all feeling in his limbs, his arms flailed around as he gently tapped the zombie on the head with the weapon.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?" Olivionion demanded before jumping back at the sight small horde of undead behind him.
He was suddenly snatched from behind by another undead as it burried its teeth into his arm, with a sudden burst of strength he managed to escape, looking down and seeing the wound on his arm completely gone, not even a drop of blood remained.
"WHAT KIND OF ZOMBIE-GAME CROSSOVER IS THIS!?" Olivionion cried turning to a door on the right before opening the door and rushing inside.
He shut the door behind him only to find Alex.
Alex was caught eating a sandwich as he locked eyes with Olivionion.
"..."
"..."
They both looked at eachother as Alex slowly took another bit of his sandwich.
"What the hell is this!?" Olivionion demanded.
"Bread, butter, ham, mayo, lettuice, tomato, pickles and onion," Alex replied.
"WHY ARE YOU HERE?!" Olivionion demanded.
"Well, I was stuck in my illusion, It was this one nightmare I had as a kid that a wolf was hunting for me in my old house, so I just killed it... and now I'm here..." he replied.
What Alex didn't realise, was that by placing them next to eachother, JohnWillStab allowed their illusions to overlap.
"A wolf?" asked Olivionion.
"Yeah," Alex replied with a mouthful of sandwich.
Alex reached into the mini fridge and pulled out a carton of milk before drinking directly from it.
"I have to admit, your illusion is a lot nicer," Alex replied taking another bite of his sandwich.
Olivionion grabbed a nearby dressed and pulled it in front of the door.
"How can you just casually eat in a situation like this!?" Olivionion demanded.
"I can make you a sandwich too, no need to be a dick about it..." Alex replied grabbign another bit of bread.
Olivionion pointed a finger at Alex.
"I- you- if you don't-..." Olivionion began several insults and threaths but gave up.
"...No mayonaise, just bread, butter, ham and cheese..." he relented.
"You want chedar or generic yellow cheese?"
"Generic yellow cheese..." he replied.
The two sat down on one of the couches as the flames allegedly moved up the building, zombies bashed at the door.
"Whoever designed this illusion makes great bread!" Alex exclaimed.
"Illusion?" asked Olivionion.
"Yeah, I can sense we're in one now but I never noticed until it was too late!" Thal admitted.
"From the looks of it, everyone got an avatar to control their respective illusion," Thal began.
"If you kill it, you'll be free to leave, or in our case, jump to another illusion!" Thal explained.
"So... does that mean... the rest of the group is here?" asked Olivionion.
"That's right, if we defeat all the avatars we'll be able to escape!" Thel explained.
"I see..." Olivionion replied.
