Eighty Eight, Behemot’s Devourer.

…
“So this is what human royalty looks like now?” A man spoke.
He sat within the depths, accompanied by his comrades.
He glanced to the side for a moment, ignoring the guttering yells of Behemot, scoffing at the perpetual torture he was being put through.
The punishment for letting something happen that was even worse than could be predicted.
Lucifer smirked, locking eyes with this man.
“It seems so, Asura.” He said, the human shifting his gaze.
”Our royal ancestors came face to face with true deities and held face. The power we held in those times was unmatched… The Royal Ancient One was fabled to have met with god himself… Ygdridium conversed with the Blacksmith, the Daughter of God…” He ranted.
“Ygdridium lorded over an entire civilization more advanced and vaster than this new trash… As only one lord at that. His strength was not near the Ancient King, but he was still worlds above this…”
Asura almost seemed to be angry.
Palpitating with rage…
Well…
Rightfully so! Considering he was apart of the few ancient ancestries that had the blood of Venator coursing through them!
By technicality, Lucifer was the most distant cousin despite both coming from human blood.
They were both descendants of Venator, just Asura was still classified as a human, and his blood was far thicker.
An Ancient Human.

Within the underground space beneath the Royal Palace…
One man, one monster, and two women were present.
In the dimly lit dungeon room, one of the women sat, covered in a blanket, scrunched up in her seat.
As for the other two people, they were crouched in front of the gigantic monster seen straight out of nightmares.
There was a cut running deep through it, cleaving it open. Yet strangely, it was still wriggling.
Demonic endurance seemed to be on another level…
”Regeneration… Endurance… Strength… It’s all over the top.” The woman spoke, pulling out a clump of meat and stepping back.

”The amount of life present within this creature… If a human were to have this much, they would be capable of so much more! This entity is level one, but with all this life it should have no trouble with level two humans…” She continued, stepping backwards.
Diana took a seat, holding the wriggling meat in her hands.
” And… Despite being disconnected from the main body, this thing still has functioning life!… It lacks the core nervous system of the body, so there is only muscular intelligence… But it is still living!” She marveled.
”A completely separate life form.” Arthur stepped over.
”I can think of countless possibilities… There are so many things I can do!”
The other woman present, shivered.
She watched as Diana pulsated with energy, the wriggling meat in her hands jumping and spiking around as if trying to escape.
But it seemed to be attached to her hand unwillingly.
Diana’s energy continued to flare, electricity sparking from her hand and consuming the organism.
There were roughly twenty seconds of light and reformation, before something entirely new emerged.
There was a red cylinder in her hand, beating ever so slightly.
Diana tilted her head, closing her hand around in.
Perhaps thanks to the fact she was in the second level, and she had some experience with cursed energies, the woman was able to see Diana’s life connect with the sword in a strange pattern.
Then, Diana rose, walking towards the huge ball of meat.
”Perhaps this may be the first Demonic Armament…”
Diana spoke.
She raised her arm towards the demon, angling her fist downwards so that the cylinder was aiming at the monster.
Then, with a brief pulse of life.
The cylinder exploded outwards with a burst of speed and strength.
It transformed, the muscles jumping forward and pulling apart as it did so.
A mouth formed, and rather quickly, the cylinder chomped down on the demon, ripping some flesh off as it quickly retracted into the cylinder it was.
”I think… Behemot’s Devourer is a fitting name.” Diana spoke, manipulating the item once more.
She had let the jagged teeth return into its fleshy form, and instead changed the structure of the item, now that it had more mass to it.
It turned into a hilt of sorts, a grip. The flesh had become less smooth, and more rough, allowing a better hold.
It was a better idea than a smooth cylinder.
The witch could only watch in awe, fear, and almost disgust.
This woman had turned a living entity into a weapon with no hesitation, and such ease…
A weapon that had incredible durability, a weak mind of its own, and the capability to move itself and eat other organic entities?
Perhaps it wasn’t even limited to organic creatures, but maybe it could convert all mass into its own biomass?
What would that imply?
An unsuspecting hilt that could actually have the mass and weight of a real demon?
What if this armament was fed feasts? Could it have the mass of a sacred beast in this small form?
From what she knew, Behemot was a high ranking demon of titanic proportions. Likely one of the largest demons of the underworld. But he was also able to control his body willingly, so it wasn’t a surprise that this armament could as well.
What would this Demonic Armament bloom into?
And if there were more armaments to come…
How would things play out?…

…
It was early in the morning, still dark out, and Lokreum was watching these events with intense interest.
“A weapon of this potential formed on a whim… Using only a second order demon as the basis…” He said.
He had currently taken the form of a spider, crawling within the corner of the dungeon.
The witch was awestricken, Diana was exuberant, and Arthur was intrigued.
There was infinite potential in these, Demonic Armaments…
He couldn’t help but be interested in seeing what the outcome of using one of the seven sins as a base ingredient…
The Wrath sin?
The Glutton Sin?
What about the Pride sin?…
Even Envy…
It was clear the Demonic Armament would take after the demon, and the vast majority of demons had the same resilience and strange composition of Behemot.
Their entire bodies functioned as their nervous system. Most demons had multiple central nodes that acted as major brains, and all the cells in these regions acted under their control, but still had their own control systems.
Perhaps if Diana used a Major Node to create an armament, it would have its own mind, and be far more powerful…
Lokreum was sure she would discover this soon either way.
Behemot’s Devourer would continue to evolve, and rather fast at that…
