Chapter Eighty Three, Witch of Lucifer.

...

Eridil, that was her name.

The Avatar of the second order Vampyre. One of the leaders of an evolved species of ancient humans...

She was also the second in command amongst Warlocks and Witches. The leader of the Witches, and the next in line after One.

Like he, she had also stepped into the fourth order.

Of course, he had now grown to the second stage, being closer to the third order, but she was not far behind.

She wore a dress that covered most of her body, it was black, and it let her figure be slightly visible. Her long pale, blonde hair fell down her back, accentuating her pale skin. Her eyes were red, but she kept them closed, stroking her chin as she leant against an alley wall.

A voice was speaking in her mind, and she was nodding in response.

She heeded each and every word it spoke, complete understanding on her face.

"Yes, noble Lucifer." She muttered.

Her eyes opened, glancing to the left.

"If I make it to level four, I will be able to inherit the real Vampyre bloodline through the demon tether... Only two more levels." She spoke.

"If I do that... I won't need to have to continue murdering. It will be safer to transform others, or even just breed... We demons can slowly take over the world from the shadows." She muttered.

She closed her eyes as she approached the alley corner.

She was able to inherit some of her contracted demon's strengths, and that wasn't include the curses he had taught her.

She could smell blood approaching.

Unfortunately she was not a real Vampyre yet, but through their tether, she was able to temporarily transform some of her body into a sixth order Vampyre.

By demon definition, that was unbelievably weak, but by human definition?

That was deadly.

She twitched, her neck and entire body shaking as her hands shifted their composition.

They elongated, becoming more bony and growing larger. The doubled in size, becoming two long and lanky hands that surely did not belong to any human. The tips of her finger became sharper, almost like knives.

Her hands had become weapons.

As the sources of blood approached, she used her transformed hands to crawl up the side of the wall next to her.

Their strength was not to be underestimated.

She only had to wait for twenty seconds, and then they showed themselves.

Three guards entered her line of sight, walking past the alley.

Unfortunately for them, they wouldn't live to cross the alley in it's entirety.

It was one swift motion.

She leapt from the wall, and with three quick swipes, she clawed open their napes.

They wore helmets, and armor, but she was easily able to slice at their weak points.

Perhaps innately enhanced perception?...

All she knew for sure was that...

She was unstoppable.

"Three guards torn to pieces last night. And this time, our victims were left where they were killed." Arthur spoke.

"They were drained of their blood. With chunks of meat taken out of them. A scary sight to the average person... It's unfortunate that many did indeed see the aftermath this morning." He was sweating profusely. He dropped his sword to the ground, wiping the sweat off of his forehead.

He looked at the chopped up metal sparring dummy before him.

Diana walked out from behind him.

Week three since she was enlightened by her alchemist friend, and Diana had already stepped into the same realm as Arthur.

But, perhaps thanks to the new spark in drive, and their new enemies.

Arthur was on the verge of level four, the same level his ancestors were when they governed over their respective kingdoms.

In all of human history, the kings have all peaked at the fourth level.

It is only known to their bloodline that their originating ancestors both reached the fifth level before their eventual demise.

That is what's thought at least.

"With all the equipment I have created, we have enough to equip you and your swordsmen... We can easily storm their headquarters if we could find it. They have a maximum of about one hundred followers. The highest level they can be is level two, and I doubt there are more than five of those. At best their Demon King Warlock may be level three... but there is two of us. And your eight swordsmen are all level two." Diana shrugged.

She placed a hand on the metal dummy, an electric wave flowing over it.

It was repaired, and in exchange Diana had seemed to break a little sweat.

"We can't underestimate them Diana. They are backed by ancient demons that predate... who knows how long! You are getting in over your head. You do not become invincible once you gain power." He explained.

With a shake of his head, he bent down, picking up the strongest sword Diana had forged so far.

It was his now.

Diana sighed in response.

"Yeah whatever. But we can't continue to let them grow." She replied.

"Don't worry. I'm a few days from level four. Once that happens, we will storm them. In the mean time try to find where their base of operations is?" He told her.

Reluctantly, Diana nodded.

Turning and walking past him.

Exiting her room, Diana exhaled.

"Is this what you want me to do with the time you've given me, Mister E?"

"Lucifer." The man in question nodded in response.

His head was bowed, and he did not dare to look up.

Before him sat their king. The one man below their Demon God... elected by the Banished Son himself. He was standing in the presence of an age old existence. The ancient madman that split himself into eight. The leader of the first order, and the creator of the Seven Sins...

"You are a top second order entity, and you are doing great work in the above world." Edit, the Satan of the Underworld spoke to him.

"Seeing what you are doing with your Witch makes me wish I had contracted a woman as gullible as she..." He scoffed.

"As a reward for the work you are doing... I will thicken your connection and allow you to make her a full fledged Vampyre." Unwillingly, a smile grew on Lucifer's face.

An ear to ear grin.
