Chapter Sixteen, New Immortals.

Jack?!
Of all the powerful beings here, Jack, the eccentric, annoyingly chaotic character, was picked for such a revered position…
"You both accept this, correct?" Lokreum asked, his hands coming to rest on the shoulders of the two who now stood below him.
He gazed down on them as he was much taller, his eyes shining with resplendent light.
"I accept the offer, I'd like to become an Immortal." Agustus said, Lokreum nodding in response to her answer.
He turned to focus on Jack.
Despite not being able to see his expression, as it was hidden behind a mask, Lokreum could feel the utter bewilderment Jack was experiencing.
"I accept your offer!" Jack burst, the red light filling the holes where his eyes were shone brighter, a smile forming on the mask.
"Very well. We will get to it momentarily."

Seiya led the group through a region occupied by creatures of incredible power.
They encountered dozens of Law Embodiments, that were easily subdued by Lokreum during their journey.
As for their destination?
Mount Aldrika, the place where the Three Immortals resided.
The home of the True Gods of Asterisk, the most powerful beings to ever reside within this realm.
Along the way, Jack had been gifted with the blessings of the Primordial Sage, unlocking his system.
The four walked up 7,000 steps to reach the top, Lokreum absentmindedly peering across dimensions.
He was witnessing the birth of another human who would be known as a "Creator". Although not as powerful as Kieron or he himself, he was still a fair source of entertainment.
This man had found an undoubtedly powerful artifact, one capable of creating dimensions with ease, and unlocking a persons mental capabilities to a supernatural extent.
Similar to Jack actually.
Shuji Oki was surely a lucky, yet unlucky man.
He was a human, merely in his mid-twenties, yet his body was worse off than those in their nineties.
His skin was basically stuck to his body, with his physical strength even below most children.
He was reaching his final days, and thanks to that, he was allowed to leave the hospital. Under supervision, he visited his parent's old house, looking around and reminiscing in his early childhood.

His parents had long been dead, yet it would seem they left something behind for him.
While rummaging around the belongings of his family, Shuji found an old, yet perfectly clean stone.
A stone that would forever change his li-
"We have arrived, All-Father." Seiya said.
Lokreum would visit Shuji Oki one day.
The group had crossed the clouds surrounding the peak of the mountain, and above them, floating in the sky, was a wondrous construct.
A cathedral-like castle lay afloat, resting on a hovering piece of land.
It was a contrast to the frosty peak, as on the green island resided the tan walled castle.
"Stop." Lokreum said preventing any of his followers from floating up to the castle.
It was an instant after Lokreum had voiced his words.
"F-Father?" Someone manifested in the air before the four.
"I assumed Midas would be the first." Seiya grumbled.
*Rumble*
The ground shook, making Lokreum look down.
"But this is unexpected!" Seiya said.
*BOOM*
A massive figure split the mountain into two, the 5 Gods floating up, trying not to get hit by stray debris.
"Haha! You've grown!" Lokreum yelled, hovering forward and greeting his first creation.
Revenant stood at a titanic size, but he quickly shrunk, reaching his normal height as he floated before Lokreum.
"Hello Father!"
*Clasp*
The two shook hands, grinning madly.
"How have things been, Adam?" Lokreum said, making the undead hesitate.
"Its been aeons since I've heard that name." He said, making Lokreum grin even more.
"You can actually speak quite fluently..."
Strangely, it was the most emotion Lokreum had shown, or even felt, for another existence.
He did have fun with Kieron, and of course he was living at his peak when he was experimenting, and experiencing beauty, but...
His connection with Revenant surprisingly seemed to be something else.
His first real creation had truly evolved over the years, and it made sense.
Even though it's only been a few hundred years for Lokreum, millions of years had passed for everyone on Asterisk.
"Yeah, it's a miracle!" Another said, appearing near the group.
"Akatosh!" Lokreum said, greeting his second son. Akatosh too, seemed incredibly happy.
"It's been a while, Father."

The Gods spent days speaking with each other, leaving Agustus and Jack in the background, to listen and observe.
Jack was quick to fit in, getting acquainted with Midas rather quickly, though it was understandable considering they related in the department of mental power. Of course, he also befriended Akatosh rather quickly, the two were both maniacs...
Alongside Akatosh the Chaotic, Revenant the Powerful, and Midas the Wise, Jack and Agustus were added to the ranks of the Eldratic Gods. To the list of Immortals.
They were now considered something more than just a New God, they were Eldratic Gods!

Granting the two their new positions, Lokreum left them to truly mingle with their new comrades.
He would go back and speak with Jack eventually, but as of now, he had more important matters to attend to.
He warped through realities appearing in the void.
In this vast darkness lie only two buildings, Lokreum's massive technological facility, and the test arena.
He stepped through the doors of the facility, its molecules parting as he entered.
"The unification of the three characteristics of life…" He muttered underneath his breath, striding through corridors until he reached a room, its title above the door.
"Lab one." He exclaimed, the nanobots of the door making way for him when he entered.
He stepped towards a large table, a holographic keyboard appearing under his fingers.
His fingers typed away, calculations appearing on the wall opposite of him.
"…" Looking at all his work, he backed away from the table, his mind running on over drive.
"Yes…" He whispered, turning away from the table and walking towards the elevated platform in the center of the room.
Climbing it's steps, he sat down in the lone seat at its top, his arms sitting on their rests.
"The soul." He flicked a finger, a cerulean orb of light appearing a few meters in front of him.
"The mind." An ethereal brain materialized above this light orb.
"The form…" A translucent human body appeared around the two objects, the soul resting within its chest and the mind in its head.
Looking at all three aspects, Lokreum could see the natural connection they held.
"This is not enough." He said, his hands rising towards the model.
"It needs to be stronger..."
