Through the memories of the crown, the two were able to discover, and formulate some things.

Humans had existed far longer than they had thought...

The woman displayed to them spoke a strange language they couldn't understand by ear, and she looked different from the average person. At the very least, she was clearly head and shoulder above the vast majority of humanity.

On top of that, just from the ancient kreus and energies flowing within the crown, they could tell it was far older than they imagined.

Wu even estimated the crown might be older than some real Sacred Beasts...

Of course, the two kept this information a secret. Vera vowed to search for the missing sword, and perhaps any other signs of previous human life.

But that would be after she rises to the throne.

The throne of humanity!

In the seventh year of her conquest, Sun Wukong ventured the earth.

He traveled north, continuing to further his power.

He had a plan, a wondrous one!

Sun Wukong, the aspiring Monkey King, aimed to converse with the Sacred Beasts themselves! He could not think of any way to unify the Beastkin besides this. They were a lazy and rather barbaric species. They would not just follow the words of some random monkey, even if he was far stronger than them.

They would need an enemy to fight. Something to come together to combat...

So, Wukong went on an eight year long trip, heading northbound, searching for a true Sacred One. Thankfully, he was long aware of where one resided.

It wasn't exactly a secret, but there was a benevolent Sacred Beast that could be easily found resting at a stormy beach up north. But, it was also known that disturbing him for no reason wasn't the smartest of ideas.

He was likely the nicest Sacred Beast, but even he didn't enjoy ants bothering him mindlessly.

So, although it took eight years, Wukong eventually found himself standing before a god among beasts. Lumoof, the Benevolent. He gazed into the visage of the titanic entity.

He stared at the ginormous, bipedal creature. It was built, with thick arms and huge trunk legs. It had thick wooly, grey fur that covered the entirety of its body. It's hands were huge, have four long and thick curved claws for fingers.

It's face was covered in fur, only two holes that had yellow light in them being present. Atop it's head were two horns that protruded forward, curving up at their tips.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

It sat at the edge of a cliff, using the ledge as a chair. Blankly, Lumoof stared into the ocean, not moving an inch.

Wukong found himself climbing onto an adjacent cliff, standing far, but still close enough.

"O' Sacred Beast Lumoof! I have a proposition for you and the Sacred Ones!" Slowly, the beast of titanic stature turned his head. His gaze landed upon the small monkey, his eyes sharpening.

"Sun Wukong..." The deep and grating voice nearly sounded like a blaring horn to the aspiring king, but that did not hinder him.

"For what reason is the Sacred Prodigy visiting me?" There was a smiling undertone in the titans voice, and Wukong watched as he leaned forward, his elbows on his knees.

"I am visiting to bring you my proposition!" Wukong yelled, his hands cupped around his mouth.

"Do tell." Lumoof replied, patiently waiting.

"I would like to unite the beastkin and become the king that lords over them!" He yelled.

"A king? Where did you get that idea? You are speaking of a king as in the ruler of a community correct?" Lumoof questioned.

"Yes I am! As for why... I feel it's necessary! Our beastkin have been stagnant for thousands of years! We need change!" Wukong told, the Sacred Beast nodding slowly.

"And how would you plan on becoming king? That isn't exactly the easiest of tasks." The titan leaned forward.

"That's where you may play a part! I think if the Sacred Ones could conjure a threat large enough to endanger all of beast kind... I would be able to save them, and claim my spot as the strongest!" Wukong smiled, hearing the small chuckle escape Lumoof as he finished.

"If... If this is what you wish. I will see to it..." Lumoof was clearly quite entertained. "But make sure you level up your strength a little bit... I'm sure I'll have some fun throwing these challenges at you..." The beast continued.

"Maybe... If you succeed, this could be a tradition... The King Games... That sounds entertaining."

...

In those eight years, Vera did not stop her advancements. With a calm, but powerful fist, she conquered settlements that didn't wish to acclimate, and cared for all of them the same. Along the way, she stepped into the fourth level, furthering the disparity between her and the power of the populace.

In the span of time it took Wukong to reach Lumoof, Vera had tripled the amount of people under her governance. Three hundred thousand... roughly one seventh of humanity. At this point, Vera had fully realized her kingdom. It was located in the upper southwest, and although it was still under construction and expansion, it was already large enough to house a quarter of a million people.

Alongside this expansion in people, she was proliferating some power. A small, select group of people were being given the access to her breathing techniques. Namely, the king's swordsmen, and the high ranking officers of the church.

Officially, there were 10 people within the entire kingdom that entered the first level.

Of course there was Vera who was level four, but no one else would reach that height for a long while.

They didn't have anywhere near as much talent as her...

Of course, this number of supernaturals would eventually change.

The years continued to move forward, Vera moving faster than ever.

As time progressed, she eventually was able to send her men to convert settlements for her. Effectively, she had created the first military... Those settlements in danger of beasts were swiftly saved and converted, and those that were peacefully standing were indoctrinated.

Everything was moving smoothly, especially when there were other people that were a testament to her power.

A group of swordsmen stronger than any man the people have ever seen? Men that were capable of scaling walls, and touching fire with their bare hands... Faith was easily born in the people.

In a shorter ten years, Vera had become the king of one million people...

Of course, at that part, Wukong was getting started on his conquest.

But, it seemed that his would be far harder than hers...

It didn't look like he would be let off light with the King Games...
