Chapter Thirty One, The Battles of Gods.

…
"Seiya has nearly doubled in strength, while Julius has lost half of his reserves." Sage said, worried but fully invested.
"His reserves are nearly infinite, he can pull energy from the countless humans in the Apocryphal Domain." Kieron replied.
Sage tilted her head in understanding.
Yet, that didn't change the fact that both Revenant and Seiya had sapped away a massive amount of essence from Julius.
Lokreum squinted.
Memories floated to the forefront of his mind. He recalled the moment in which he had created Earth, making Shiva rise from the dust. The sight of him wandering around the oasis, getting to know the countless animal and wildlife around him.
The image of he and Citemer meeting for the first time, the awkward atmosphere between the two.
He stared at Julius, watching as his final two bodies reunited, two enemy figures appearing before him.
"You have had many reincarnations up to this point, the majority rather short lived... I expect this one to be different."
...
----------------------------------------
...
Julius shook, his only remaining body melding with his main form. His mind was running on max capacity.
Both Revenant and Seiya had curb stomped him. Granted, he was able to defeat Akatosh, but it seemed only at full power he would be able to combat the other Immortals.
Well, besides for the two in front of him.
"You know that Akatosh has lost, correct?" He smiled towards the two. Of course, he was using this as an intimidation factor.
"Akatosh lost?" Midas glanced at Agustus. They conveyed their thoughts to each other, worry filling his mind.
"Unfortunately he is still living, but he is definitely on the brink." The tall young man with pale blonde hair spoke.
"He held out surprisingly well, he even managed to defeat my clone! I commend you all for being so strong." Julius praised, a fake smile on his face.
"Though I'm sure I'd be much stronger if I had millions of years to progress like you guys…" He pondered.
"Enough talking." Agustus cut in, a golden kreus sword manifesting in her hand.
There was a firm expression on her face. She aimed her weapon forward, aiming it at the human.
"[Mark of the Demented]." She said, a dark essence shooting out of the tip of the sword.
Her attack was quite the contrast to her angelic image.
"[Skin of Royalty]." A golden aura surrounded Julius, dispersing the dark energy before it could reach him.
"It entertains me to think you assume you have the authority to touch me." Julius smiled, his head tilting while one of his arms crossed over his chest.
"[Fireball]." An arm came uncrossed and a small particle of fire levitated above his fingertip.
The power difference between Seiya and Revenant, and Midas and Agustus, was as clear as day.
Seiya and Revenant could be considered the strongest Immortals, Akatosh sitting in the middle, while Agustus and Midas were the weakest.
But that was due to the fact that they were the brains of the Immortals... They focused more on comprehending reality than they did climbing the firmaments of power.
It didn't help that Julius had accumulated all of his power now, slowly replenishing his losses.
"I'll refrain from going all out." Julius said, watching as the two charged their Law essences within their origin.
It amused him, seeing they thought he would be unable to do something as simple as glancing at the circulation of their energies.
'A Time Skill is it?' He chuckled in his mind, letting them proceed.
"[Amplification]." He spoke, the small particle growing slightly and burning hotter.
"[Condense]."
"[Poison]."
"[Empower]."
He cast many amplifying skills, increasing the strength of the fireball as the two watched.
"Well, I hope this feels good." He smiled flicking the fireball towards to the two.
But as he did so, everything in the immediate area froze, even him.
"He talks too much." Agustus said.
"His ability to control time cannot be as deep as mine, but I'm sure it won't take long for him to awaken." Midas responded, Agustus nodding.
"[Pressure]."

"[Spatial Rip]."
"[Age Acceleration]."
"[Multilayered Inner Turmoil]."
"[Destruction]."
"[Apocalyptic Ruin]."
"…"
Countless skills were cast, many essences paused in time, aiming towards Julius.
Unbeknownst to them, their skill had never even worked on him.
'Did you truly think I wouldn't have become proficient in the Time Law?… You underestimate me.' Julius questioned in his mind.
Compared to Revenant and Seiya, these two felt pathetic.
He was preparing to reveal himself, when he felt an over abundance of essence circulating from the both.
'I know this one!' He smiled mentally, casting multiple Skills silently.
'[Lord of Reality].'
'[Indomitable Human Spirit].'
'[Mortal Right].'
'[Viral Essence].' With all the skills cast, an incredible amount of energies welled up within his origin, the two Gods feeling the fluctuations at the last moment.
"[Apocalypse]!" They both yelled, the dark energy shooting towards Julius as he stepped out of the "shackled time", his attacks firing off.
BOOOM!!
The bombardment of attacks collided with Julius' spirit, disappearing in an instant as an invisible wave of essence completely obliterated all their attacks.
"My apologies, this might have been too much." As Julius said this, the powerful wave of essence ran through Agustus and Midas.
"…"
The two stood there, unmoving.
Then.
BLEGH!
The two lurched forward, barfing out an endless stream of liquids.
Julius had purged all of the energy within their origin, forcing them to belch up 95% of their life force.
The two turned unbelievably pale, even more so than they already were. Their eyes rolled to the back of their heads, and they keeled over in space.
The drastic change from being slaughtered two times in a row, to this one sided battle, left a sour taste in Julius' mouth.
He floated over towards the two, watching as their consciousness faded from the land of the living...
After all, the only real Immortals, were Seiya and Revenant.
All the others were very much capable of death.
…

…
"You seem to be stronger than most of your companions." A scruff, but rather perfect individual spoke. He was clashing with a rather eerie clown...
"I would say the same for you, but that Julius kid is something else!" Jack said in response to Tyr.
"That is the truth." Tyr said, his celestial sword slicing through Jack's tentacle.
"Ouch!" Jack laughed, the tentacle regrowing in an instant just to be chopped down again.
"You're the one, aren't you?" Jack's head tilted, his tentacles swinging around at rapid velocity, his hands still within his strait jacket.
"Revenant said there was a species engineered to combat us... All of your attacks sting."
"[Falling Reign]." Tyr said indifferently, his sword dropping down through Jack with a golden light.
Kishck~
It sliced Jack straight down the middle, leaving a clean cut.
"Hmm…" The Celestial hummed in confusion.
"Of course it isn't that easy!" He heard Jack's energetic voice sound from behind.
In the same moment, a powerful force was felt on his back, Tyr being tossed through space.
"Hmph, I didn't expect it to be."' Tyr said, bouncing off the walls of reality, and flying towards Jack.
Bang!
Tyr's sword bounced off Jack's tentacles, the two repelling off of each other before they engaged in a vicious combat.
"Your appendages are quite quick." Tyr said. His sword cut clean through Jack, the clown madly laughing.
"Speed is something I excel at." Jack responded, reconnecting his body with ease.
"Is that so?" A foreign voice came from nowhere.
A world shattering force slammed against Jack's mask, cracking it. He was launched light years from the battle, a new entrant making himself known.
"Mmm… Greetings Julius." Tyr nodded. He had grown a lot more confident, seeing the entrance of the reality's only other confirmed level 14.
"HOW DARE YOU." A scream resounded throughout a large portion of reality.
Jack's aura exploded, becoming unrestrained and flaring to astronomical heights.
"THIS MASK IS A ONE OF A KIND." In an instant, Julius' body was disintegrated, a red wave of energy sweeping through space.
Tyr was barely able to react in time, lifting all possible defenses as he could.
Taking the brunt of the energy wave, he was heavily damaged.
He felt a pressure like no other, his mind wanting to succumb to the pain. Blood dripped from his eyes, as he looking upwards, grasping at his head.
'What kind of power is this?!' He exclaimed in his mind, watching as a terrifying version of Jack appeared before him.
His restraints had come undone.
Two long and lanky arms were hanging next to his sides. His mask was cracked from top to bottom, a chunk missing where his mouth was.
He had an unbelievably long tongue that couldn't seem to stay in his mouth, and the eye holes of his half broken mask were emanating a corporeal red essence.
"I put my all into creating that artifact. It is one of one within the infinite realities." Jack steamed.
"I did not go through years of pain and hard work, just for you it to be destroyed by the likes of YOU!" The pure power Jack was letting out…
If they didn't know better, they would have thought he was only a step away from the 15th level.
But how could that be? One needed to amass the culminated faith essence of trillions of their descendants… The only one who could possibly do that as of now would be Julius!
After all, the entire human race had long been his descendants!
In fact, that was a partial reason as to why he was so powerful! He had countless humans under his banner, and the amount was only increasing by the second.
The fact he was considered their Emperor, their Ancestral God… He was fairly close to the 15th level!
If you divided the firmaments of power into stages, level zero all the way to level four was the mortal realm. The stage in which life and death were one in the same.
The following five levels could be considered the Cosmic realm, the stage in which entities stood on par with age old celestial phenomena.
As for the final six? That was the God realm!
Julius was almost at the peak of the God realm!
He was nearly a peak third stage existence!
At full power?... He was not someone you could get rid of easily...
"Who might you think, YOU ARE?!" A furious voice sounded.
Reality churned, shaking as a powerful entity descended upon the region before them.
A presence that evoked fear even into the mind of Tyr. This presence had a spiritual pressure so deep and boundless, that it made the armies far off in the distance cease their battles.
"The Ancestral God has truly descended!" A human king shouted.
"Oh lord!" Another cried in awe, tears falling from his eyes.
"To be graced with the true form of the Heavenly Father!"
The soldiers cried as Julius stood face to face with the furious Jack.
Both of them were extremely powerful existences, clearly nearing the peak of the 14th realm!
Yet no one understood how Jack was so high within the realm.
Even his very own followers!
It was a well known fact that within Asterisk, of all the Immortals, Jack had the fewest descendants!
They had countless questions! Confusion running rampant in their minds!
Though they wouldn't get any of these questions off their tongues...
In an instant, Julius and Jack clashed.
They took off in hand to hand combat, Jack not caring for defense as Julius threw fist after fist, plowing his body.
"You're merely an existence gifted power by the Primordial Sage!" Jack roared.
"You do not know what struggle looks like, I will teach you!" A palm reached Julius' face, slapping him so hard that his Aspect trembled.
It was as if…
Jack was powerful enough to slap another's soul out of their body!
He was so strong that, just a slap, almost threw Julius' resonance out of sync.
"You're right! But it is no matter! I am the manifestation of power!" Julius said, bringing his fists above his head as he leapt towards Jack.
"In the end only victory awaits."
BOOM!!
