Chapter Nineteen, Fate!
...

...
The knowledgeable existence, snapped his neck, the animals around him staring in reverence.
This man was Tyr, The Celestial God.
"Combine it." He muttered, feeling his kreus, and the law essence within his Origin.
It moved according to his will, the two intangible rivers of essence colliding in his existence, swirling around each other.
At the center, where the two energies met, sprouted a new essence.
{You have successfully formed Kreuvian Essence! You have opened the Skill-Tree, [Kreuvian Law]!}
{You have successfully reached the realm of [Kreuvian Essence]! Congratulations on being the first existence to successfully enter this realm, your speed of Kreuvian essence regeneration has increased drastically.}
The panels read, Tyr feeling the kreus flood his body.
"Kreuvian Essence." He said. He opened a palm, letting the energy that consisted of Fate essence and kreus, populate the air before him.
Right before his eyes, a golden and cerulean energy floated, an image forming within it.
{Skill created!}
{The Skill, [Misty Gaze of Fate] has been added to the [Fate Lord] Skill-Tree.}
|Misty Gaze of Fate|
[Fate Skill]
- Proficiency: 0.0%
[Information]: Use Fate Kreus to gaze through space and observe those with large fates.
"To use the Law of Fate to observe across dimensions?…" Tyr muttered.
His mind surfed through the entirety of the Fate Law, trying to find any detail that states the Law can be used to observe another existence.
{Your comprehension of the Fate Law has reached 30%! The Skill, [Eyes of Fate] has been added to the [Fate Lord] Skill-Tree.}
{Your comprehension of the Fate Law has reached 50%! The Skills, [Destiny Manipulation] and [Fate Accumulation] have been added to the [Fate Lord] Skill-Tree.}
{Your comprehension of the Fate Law has reached 75%! The Skills, [Fate Steal] and [Fate Assurance] have been added to the [Fate Lord] Skill-Tree.}
[Your comprehension of the Fate Law has reached 100%! The Skill [Lord of Fate] has been added to the [Fate Lord] Skill-Tree. You have received the title [Lord of Fate]!}
The abundance of panels appearing before Tyr made him mentally rub his eyes, but he quickly snapped back to reality.
But as he did so, another screen popped up.
[Status] [Name: Tyr] Titles: [The Purifier], [Celestial God], [The Progenitor of Celestials], [Lord of Fate], [God of Fairness]… [Species: Celestial (Progenitor)] |Kreus: Small River (Ethereal)| - Origin Energy: 2 Rivers - Form Temperament: Mountain - Mental Temperament: 5% |Realm: Kreuvian Essence|
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
- [Evaluation]: You're capable of receiving attacks similar to that of having a mountain thrown at you, and the force behind your unaltered punches are equivalent to throwing a mountain at your enemy. With the help of the multiplier given by the tempering of your mind, your Aspect and Law skills are given a 5% multiplier to power and cast speed. You could easily submerge large islands.
The screen was ignored, his mind stuck on the Law of Fate.
"All these… abilities, just for comprehending a Law!" He exclaimed loudly, making the birds within the trees scatter.
Just through his senses, he could feel what all of these 'skills' would allow him to do.
[Eyes of Fate] would let him see how much Fate another being held.
The size of another's Fate, was equivalent to their luck, their talent, the opportunities they would receive in the future, and Tyr would be able to perceive this by simply looking above their heads and seeing the size of the Fate Cloud above them.
It was a wondrous ability.
[Destiny Manipulation] would simply allow him to manipulate his very own destiny. For example, if he peered ahead in time and saw what fate had in store for him, and he didn't like it, he could use [Destiny Manipulation] to derail the current Fateline he was on.
Fatelines were the destiny equivalent of Timelines, and being able to branch out from the coming Fateline, he would be fully capable of writing his own fate after.
[Fate Accumulation] allowed him to passively increase his own Fate, the rate at which his Fate expanded increasing as his power did so.
[Fate Steal] allowed him to rob the Fates of others, and add it to his own Fate Cloud.
[Fate Assurance] let him peer into other Fatelines, giving him the ability to pick one of them, and assure that it would be his outcome.
And finally, the [Lord of Fate] skill. It gave him perfect manipulation of Fate essence, and the capability to toy with anything related to Fate as if it was childs play. The only way another being could combat his manipulation would be if they had the [Lord of Fate] skill as well, or had assimilated the Fate Law.
Immediately he put his Lord of Fate Title to use.
Before having his Law essences crumbled, he felt the disturbances in reality, the strange monstrosities invading his world.
Thinking about this, his eyes shone with a golden luster, his conscience turning elsewhere as images flashed before his eyes.
He could see a massive celestial body, larger than anything he had ever seen before.
Out of this gigantic sphere, that resembled a black hole, shot a shockwave, it covered the entirety of reality in but a moment.
In the next instant, outside of the Astral, tears in space appeared, both in the void, and even in some strange realm.
These tears that appeared near the abominations seemed to attract them, and before anyone could notice, they slipped through the gateways appearing in various locations across reality.
The rifts closed immediately after, but it was too late. These creatures, that had too been ripped of their Law essences, were released upon the inhabitants of the astral, and destruction followed suit.
"Ah…" Tyr's vision ended, his eyes re-acclimating to the forest around him.
"At the same time as that pulse from the celestial body, I received this… system, from the Primordial Sage." He muttered.
"It seems this entity was able to read the fate of reality, and know this event was going to happen, and in turn, released this artifact to the inhabitants of the astral to combat the apocalypse brought on by these monstrosities as the panels before said." He rambled, his mind going crazy.
"It is my duty as the Celestial God to purify evil and protect this reality!" Tyr yelled, slight anger hidden in his voice.
The animals nearby, scattered, Tyr exiting his meditative pose and standing up straight.
"The Celestials and Purifiers need to be retrained and commissioned at once."

…
Lokreum and Sage sat within a pure white domain, with nothing but an unbelievably soft couch, and countless mirrors of reality that showed the happenings of the Apocryphal Domain.
Having turned their attention away from the screen that showed Tyr, the Celestial God, the two divine beings leisurely conversed the destiny of entire realities.
"Which route will you choose All-Father?" Sage asked, conjuring an image above her hands.
"If you let the doorway to the outside in the void, open, Eldrids will seep through it, corrupting foreign realities." An image of abominations of apocalypse shattering an entire reality was displayed.
"It will create a region within the Inbetween of pure chaos and destruction, which will become a hub for Eldratic monstrosities." A large spider-web crack inside of the Inbetween could be seen, the darkness threatening to take over the Inbetween's vast cerulean expanses.
"They'll proceed to invade realities, either overrunning them, or birthing powerful existences that save their realms. Plunging a large region of the Inbetween into a war for the next coming aeons." Sage finished, turning her gaze to her left palm.
"Or, will you keep the gate closed, letting Julius Randell subdue all Eldrids. In turn, upon finding the existence of the other infinite realities, he will make his move beyond the veils of his home." The image showed the brilliant light of the human figure, departing from the Apocryphal Domain.
"He will go on to infiltrate another reality, slowly conquering it, becoming the emperor of two different spaces." The banner of Julius was displayed within two different realms.
"This will go on until he has reigned over a portion of the infinite realities, the inhabitants he rules over forming a rebellion, which plunges the infinite realities into an aeon long war." The images shown in Sage's palms stopped playing, her hand closing and crumpling the Kreuvian essence.
"No matter the outcome, the foolish inhabitants of this portion of existence will plunge themselves into war. A war of hellish proportions at that, All-Father." Lokreum listened to her words, his eyes illuminating with a golden brilliance.
"I will not directly interfere with the schemes of destiny." Lokreum finally responded, "If an existence opens this gate, then they will open it. If the Primordial Heart sends an existence to guard the gateway out of its own volition, then it will do so." He rose from his seat.
"I shall leave the decision up to fate, and those who toy with it." He finished, his figure of boundless authority standing in front of the seated Primordial Sage.
"Now, would you like to turn back time and witness the start of this… Julius Randell's, story?" His hand stretched out to the seated entity, a smile forming as her eyes were still hidden behind the veils of her hair.
"Surely, All-Father."
