Chapter Fifty Six, The State of Civilizations.

"That was a breath of fresh air." Lokreum said, leaning back into his throne atop of the world.
A pillar of darkness sprouted from a shaded corner within the pavilion Seiya forming within.
Kieron leant against the throne, seeming rather exhausted. While Alexandria stood just a ways before two, looking up at the orange sky, seeing the sun rising in the distance.
"I agree..." Kieron muttered. He looked back out towards the world, seeing the blazing star grow larger.
"My sacred body has been resting... Perhaps I should go back to the land of Sacred Beasts and check in on things..." Kieron spoke, turning towards Lokreum.
Behind the scenes, Kieron had been helping the Beastkin further their bloodline. The Vitarians had Sirft, the very first Vitarian that God once observed within the forests of Vitaria. The Ancient Humans, the dwellers of the underground... They had Seiya, the Banished Son, the Dark Immortal.
New humanity had no one, but that was temporary. Julius may take on the role of being their supervisor, or perhaps they would evolve someone powerful like the Vitarians did.
One could argue that the Beastkin had the Godkin on continent Vitaria to play the role as leaders, but Kieron had been planning since the start.
From the moment that he had glimpsed the idea of Sacred Beasts within Julius', Kieron had been highly interested in their potential.
Of course, he couldn't help but intertwine with them.
When the Sacred Beasts started to emerge, Kieron used another body and emerged as one of the Originals. One of the first Sacred Beasts, the founders of the race.
But he emerged in a different location.
He evolved on the lone continent, the land mass in which there were no humans, and no Vitarians.
He slowly grew to power, taking the land for himself, and building up strength naturally.
He lorded over the beasts, silently becoming the ruler of their species, and being the first creature in history to link the continents together.
Unbeknownst to all existences besides the high ranking Sacred Beasts, there were vast tunnels and gateways that connected all of the continents to eachother.
Kieron, now known as the Titan Alacor, secretly assisted the Sacred Beasts on Vitaria, sending reinforcements to help stabilize warfare over there.
In the background, Kieron was playing gamemaster, and not many knew.
Even Seiya, and Julius were unaware! They had not set their sights on the Beast continent at all! They were completely absorbed with humanity and the Vitarians.
Considering Kieron had not been very present with them... He had escaped their minds completely!
Lokreum was fine with this, he found Kieron secretly controlling things to be a source of enjoyment. It was like watching a chess grandmaster toy with other chest masters who thought they were controlling all of the pieces.

Sirft did not know he was being combatted by an age old entity with high intellect, but there was bound to be a day where the two clashed.
And Kieron would surely be in for a surprise...
Lokreum hoped this day would push Sirft past his boundaries.
Perhaps this would be the day he became a true Ignotovian!
"Ahh, there is no need. I know the Sacred Beasts are doing fine... How is humanity progressing?" Kieron asked, shaking his mind of his thoughts regarding the Beast continent.
Hearing these words, Alexandria turned back, instinctively, she couldn't help but explain.
The humans had finally grown out of their quadrupedal body structure, and became bipedal creatures. Their fur receded, leaving hair really only on their head, arms, and legs.
They grew in intelligence, but kept their old habits.
They were familial creatures, predatory to any other creatures they could hunt together, and cowardly to those they couldn't even dream of combating.
They grew in technological prowess, and tool mastery.
They came to build villages for themselves, forming early languages, written and spoken.
They painted pictures on walls with anything they could use, be it blood, mud, or specific pastes they created through mixing ingredients together.
That was their written language, and it would forever be engraved into the surface caves of one of the continents ruled by sacred beasts.
Humanity continued to grow, as they came to encounter the Beastkin.
Fortunately for the humans, they were able to use their tools to observe from a far.
Their bestial counterparts were slightly more advanced than humanity, still being in the village faring age despite having lived thousands of years longer than them.
Their minds did not have the same innovative gene that were built into humans, they were stuck hunting and being predators, preying on all the weak vermin around.
They were not too focused on advancing as a civilization...
But, as a collective, they were still better off than humans, and seeing this, the humans took inspiration from the beasts.
They copied their hunting styles, their fighting styles, the way they used wood to built homes, instead of having to find stone cliffs that provided natural protection.
Human civilization grew, they swiftly flew through the ages over the years, and eventually surpassed the beasts.
Though of course, neither were stagnant in growth.
Both species progressed, growing into towns, and decent sized settlements.
At this point, the humans occupied the lower half of the continent, while the vast majority of beasts, were in the far north.
The way the continent was positioned within the world, and given its size, the north was a freezing iceberg, and the south was a hot and damp tropical region.
The Beastkin dwelled within their domain. This allowed the humans to stay unbothered in their half of the continent, rarely coming across outlier bestial villages. Thankfully these outliers lagged behind the large settlements in their central areas.
With this positioning, the humans were able to avoid the gaze of the intelligent beasts that they were unsure of.
They were both frightened and curious because of these people, but there was an unspoken agreement to never engage or show themselves.
They did not want to see what would happen if the beasts chose to attack them.
It was already hard enough fighting against creatures like bears, but bears with spears and true intelligence?
They could not even imagine...
"It's taken fifteen thousand years just for them to progress to the stage of township?" Seiya questioned for his dark corner, Alexandria turning towards him.
"Well yes... But they are slowly being collected under one banner, as are the Beastkin. These two species will soon find themselves being governed by their very first kings." She explained, watching as the shadow nodded.
"At this rate they will never catch up with my believers..." Seiya scoffed, disconnecting from the shadows and stepping into the light. He was still a dark wispy figure, becoming an entity of darkness that moved around freely.
"You cannot judge so soon... I'm inclined to think that major figures will emerge in both races... We will be watching a rather entertaining period rather soon..." Alexandria replied, a smile emerging on her face.
"But right now, we will be watching something far more entertaining." Lokreum spoke, making everyone turn towards him.
In that same moment, a foreboding sensation was born deep within the three lesser gods.
A crack in space emerged in the entrance to the pavilion, a powerful presence making them falter.
Even Kieron's knees buckled.
"What is this, Lokreum?" The ancient entity questioned, looking back towards the creator.
All he could see was a blazing smile, a flame sparked within his eyes.
All voices seemed to be blocked from his hearing, as Alexandria and Seiya too asked their questions rather confused.
Yet he did not respond to any.
"Just watch."
