Chapter Twenty Three, A Strange Woman.
...
----------------------------------------
…
In a secluded, dark portion of reality, within a multiverse miraculously hidden from the eyes of the Primordial Sage.
A place where time moved differently than the majority of reality…
One could find the visage of a cold faced beauty, resting on a throne within an expansive cave.
Around her, droves of ethereal green energies swam, binding the movement of time in her immediate vicinity.
Meters in front of her, frozen below her gaze, laid 8 humans.
Her vision pierced their minds, reading their memories while they were unable to move or even think.
"This world really turned to shit just years after my demise…" Annoyance appeared on her face for a few moments, watching as the apocalypse reigned down on the planet she resided in.
"Earth… How was such an Apocalypse created… Is this the 'Revelation' God spoke of?" She questioned herself, archiving the memories.
This existence was once just a normal human. The average woman who worked a nine to five, in a world with zero uniqueness.
Before her death, the supernatural did not exist. Science and technology reigned supreme, the world having advanced by an unbelievable degree in the past centuries.
Being born in the end of the 20th century, and witnessing the rise of technology during the early 2000's was amazing, seeing the birth of new creations, ideas, and concepts was fuel for her artistic mind.
She enjoyed her life, even if there was a lack of purpose for her existence.
It was a shame she perished in her battle against brain cancer.
But, the unheard of took place.
She was reborn, within a dark cave, in an isolated region of the world. A screen had appeared before her, giving her information on her circumstances.
{You have been chosen by an unknown entity…}
{You have been gifted with power even [Gods] loathe. Use it to shape worlds, and create powerful existences of your own. Create your own dimensions, and unshackle the binds placed by the [Primordial] of this reality…}
{Become an existence that stands at the top, alongside the rulers of this cursed domain. Assist the life in this realm in the first coming of apocalypse!}
She was truly reborn…
With power she thought impossible!

…
Staring at the green, translucent panels in front of me, my mind was in a daze.
It was quite a lot to take in…
I shifted my vision towards a screen off to the left, taking my time to understand the words written on it.
[Status] |Name: Alexandria| -Titles: [Dimensional Creature] |Species: Dimensional Rysier| |Kreus: ???| - Origin Energies: ??? - Form Temperament: ??? - Mental Temperament: 0% |Realm: Universal Aspect (Peak)|
The screen was reminiscent of a video game panel, though more attributed to Cultivation novel characteristics.
I understood my situation.
"Reincarnation…" I muttered, swiping my gaze across the decrepit cave.
I observed the water dripping from the ceiling, and even the scuttling of mice heard off in the distance.
I looked down at my hands, analyzing the black gloves covering my slim fingers, and as I did so, multiple screens appeared.
{Skill acquired! [Informational Analysis].}

…
Alexandria stared at the 8 humans before her, her fingers snapping as her kreus released it's control over time.
"W-What the hell?!…" The leader of the group cursed under his breath, his eyes shooting up towards the figure who sat on the throne above them.
She was a beautiful woman, the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in fact, and she exuded an aura of such power that he almost cried.
She had smooth, pale white skin, green eyes emanating with energy, and long, white hair that transitioned to a greenish-blue at it's tips.
Her lips were blue, and mesmerizing, while her slim, and incredibly appealing figure put most of the men behind the group leader, into a trance.
Though, her most noticeable feature, was the blue, three pronged, cerulean green crown hovering around her head.
"Why have you entered my home?" The women asked, her voice compelling all the men to answer.
"There was a report-"
"A report-"
"We were repor-"
"A report was-"
"It was a rep-"
"Report-"
"It was reporte-"
"Rep-"
All of the men responded in unison, before a pale palm was risen, silencing them.
They found their voices absent, incapable of producing sound.
"Jaxon Briggs. You will speak." She announced, her palm dropping as the leader's eyes widened.
'How does she know my name…' He thought with slight fear.
"W-We're here on account of a report… There were essence fluctuations here similar to that of a tier 5 existence, though it's clear your power is far beyond that." Jaxon Briggs responded, fear apparent in his voice.
"W-Who are you…" He asked, apprehension plastered on his face.
"Hmm…" The woman hummed, her eyes squinting at the humans below her.
"I am a God." She said, Jaxon's face distorting.
"God…" He chuckled, his head, the only body part that was capable of movement hanging low.
"Really? That's a bold title." He murmured. "I was sent here, on a DEATH MISSION. To investigate a creature only the upper echelons of the foundation could combat… and when I arrive, I'm faced with someone who claims to be, GOD." He almost yelled in frustration.
He could not tell if it was due to the unique situation he was in, but Jaxon was strangely feeling every emotion in one moment.
"If you're God, where have you been. Why have you let the world fall into such utter chaos?! What. Kind. Of GOD. Do you think. YOU ARE." He screamed at the top of his lungs, fire bursting out of his body.
He fought against the ethereal, invisible binds placed on his body, wanting to reach the entity before him.
His banter, seemed to snap those around him out of their trance, tears falling down their faces as they heard his words.
"I understand your thought process." The woman spoke, "But what makes you think that the mortal matters of this desolate world, are important to me?"
"There are trillions of worlds in the vast universes, many of which are much more interesting than this one. In fact, I've been focusing on one of these worlds, since, as you can see, this world was a lost cause the second it was invaded by those of the apocalypse." Her response was long, and understandable.
Of course, those before her didn't know that she wasn't really god.
They didn't know that this woman was only reborn just a few minutes before they walked in... But she loved the idea of being someone powerful, and she took that idea and ran.
"I'd like to see this heavenly world…" Jaxon muttered.
He understood her point, but of course, he refused to acknowledge it.
What made his world less important than any other? The fact it was overrun with monstrous creatures? So what?
His world held life that was just as special as any other's, did it not?
"You're strong, you have a moral mindset, you could surely do good for this world if you had the power." His eye's locked with the woman, his eyebrows scrunching.
"Since you wish to see my 'Heavenly World', your wish is my command."
*Snap*
The sound of her fingers reverberated throughout the cave, as time froze, a screen appearing before each man.
{How lucky, you have been invited to the World of the Gods by Alexandria herself! Will you accept this invitation and step foot into the Divine Realm of Kepler? Will you accept this invite, and be gifted the ability to amass such power that you could sunder worlds with ease? Will YOU, be the controller of your fate?}
{Accept/Decline}
Looking at the screen Jaxon's mouth hung agape.
"Accept..."
