Chapter 95 - War is Nigh

CHAPPY 95 - WAR IS NIGH

--[--] An Artificial Land [--]--

With Nagant as the mediator for the war that was to come, both sides agreed to fight somewhere that had no lives nearby.

By both sides meaning Kenjiki and All For One.

“Why is that dipshit still not here?” Tatsumaki groaned in annoyance, flinging around the chair.

Around Tatsumaki were the people who represented the ‘Heroes’ side, coming from all over the world.

All of them were first ranked in their or to be precise, organization.

“Please refrain from using such language, Ms. Tatsumaki.” The handler of the meeting had beads of sweat flowing down his face.

“What kind of language? They are all adults so I think they can handle this much.” Tatsumaki snapped back at the poor handler.

Everyone in the room knew about Tatsumaki's personality.

Unless they were being directly targeted, none of them would take her words to heart.

In the last few weeks, this kind of meeting was always been hosted at least once every day.

This also caused every hero to form a closer relationship than ever.

Of course, there’s another reason for this.

A major overhaul happened last week, changing the factions and reorganizing the participants.

Kenjiki and his women were moved into the third faction.

The villains' side didn’t change in the slightest as their command chain had been decided from day one and would never change.

The heroes on the other hand. They received a major reorganization, from the fact that All Might and Midoriya became the highest echelon there, being matched against All For One and Tomura.

This sparked a major uproar within the heroes' society and the civilians who had enough time to care.

Because how would they be convinced when someone past their prime was put above them?

Which led to Nagant uploading an entire expose on All Might and All For One relationship.

Something like this was literally out of a manga plot, with their generational battles.

All Might was forced to tell the world about his battles against AFO while leaving out anything about his quirk.

Enough of that.

“Raiden Ei is here!” The guard on the door announced a name.

“That woman?! She’s here?” A look of disbelief appeared on everyone’s face.

This was the first time that anyone from the third faction ever showed their face.

*clack*

*clack*

“You guys enjoy this too much. How much does today's meeting make? Around 20 meetings this week alone.” Ei walked into the room, looking at everyone in there.

*Swoosh*

Everyone felt a suppressive air pressing them down, making it harder for them to breathe and concentrate.

On top of the oppressive air, they felt their body was being weakly electrocuted.

It didn’t hurt them, but the feeling was jarring.

“That’s enough.” Tatsumaki snapped her finger, freeing everyone from the uncomfortable feeling.

“It seems that Crane Hag didn’t praise you for nothing.” Ei smirked, retracting the mana she had let out.

“Who?” Tatsumaki was unfamiliar with the term Crane Hag.

“Nothing.” Ei shook her head and went to the front of the board. “I’ve brought some monsters here to kick off the war earlier than planned.”

*KaBOOM!*

The wall of the meeting room exploded, revealing the outside world where more than hundreds of monsters could be seen rampaging.

Tatsumaki widened her eyes and glared at Ei, but she didn’t have any time for that as she left to deal with the monsters.

However, the rest of the heroes stuck behind in their seats, visibly sweating at the sight of monsters.

“It seems that this place is truly filled with cowards.” Ei shook her head in disappointment.

The likes of All Might and any major heroes didn’t bother to come here, knowing that this was just a waste of time.

“Great! Because all of you guys, I have to monitor the space.” Ei groaned and walked into The Door.

“What is with that maniac?!” One of the heroes realized that the reason why Ei did this was because of a bet.

What bet might that be? No one other than Ei and the other person knew about it.

The heroes scrambled around in the room with no thought of going out, watching as Tatsumaki dealt with all of the heroes.

Tatsumaki took hold of one of the monsters and swung it around, bursting all of the monsters it slammed onto.

“That woman is wrong in the head.” Tatsumaki remembered Ei as the one that was hungry for cock.

More and more monsters died to her while Tatsumaki was busy grumbling about Ei.

Strangely, the monsters seemed to be neverending no matter how much she had killed.

While searching for the reason, she continued the massacre and created a huge pile of monster corpses.

“These are just demon-level monsters.” Tatsumaki realized that there were no Dragon-level monsters around.

It might be because Ei just wanted to spare them, since hundreds of them were still a major problem.

Not for Tatsumaki though, because she just grinded her way onto all of them, leaving no living monsters in the path she took.

“There shouldn’t be any more left.” Tatsumaki looked to the empty lands around her, now filled with blood and corpses.

Tatsumaki had no reason to stay behind and so she flew away while monitoring for any hiding monsters.

However, rather than going somewhere far, she only went to a house made for her and rested there.

Since the war was going to start in an hour, and Ei’s words were just a bluff to scare them.

“Hmm?” Tatsumaki noticed that there seemed to be someone in her house.

Weirdly, the aura emitted by the intruders was familiar.

Wait!?

That was because the intruders were. Tatsumaki's sister and a wretched existence that she would like to perish from the world, and two presences that she’s not familiar with.

"What are you guys doing here?" Tatsumaki stood on the doorways, watching as four people were dining in her kitchen.

"Oh! You're back, sis!" Tatsumaki's sister beamed with a smile and invited Tatsumakki to join in with them.

Soon, silence engulfed the room.

The only thing that could be heard was the food being chewed.

"Let's go back, that guy will be the downfall of you." Tatsumaki grabbed her sister using her power, wanting to leave with her only to realize that her sister was fighting back.

“Why don’t you ever hear what I’ve got to say, sis?” Tatsumaki’s sister struggled with her sister’s psychokinetic power.

“Fubuki, you?” Tatsumaki widened her eyes, surprised that her sister rebelled against her.

Tatsumaki looked to the others who were still continuing to eat even though there was a squabble near them.

The one that she focused on the most was Kenjiki, who she blamed for manipulating her sister.

Because why would her sister suddenly have this idea out of nowhere?

“What did you do to her?” Tatsumaki loosened her grip on Fubuki.

Fubuki then immediately realized that her sister was mad at Kenjiki, a friend that she got from meeting back with her long-lost friend.

“I didn’t do anything, we knew each other thanks to Psykos.” Kenjiki raised both of his hands and shrugged.

“As if.” Tatsumaki continued to glare at Kenjiki. “Are you going to fight later?”

“High chance I’m not going to, but I’ll drop by if something interesting happens.” Kenjiki didn’t have that high of an expectation for this war.

The so-called villains weren’t that strong, and it meant no one would be able to scratch his itch.

Knowing that, Kenjiki decided to lay back and watch the war from somewhere.

At least that way he could watch something fun without needing to interfere.

“Is Nagant your woman too?” Tatsumaki dropped a random question.

From what Tatsumaki had learned from just surface research, and mostly because Nagant didn’t bother hiding anything.

Tatsumaki learned that the person who was responsible for this war was actually a single person, and that was Nagant.

It was also known that Kenjiki and his groups joined for the funsies.

“She is, did she do anything?” Kenjiki raised his eyebrow, thinking that Nagant might’ve done something while he was gone.

“Nothing, I was just curious.” Tatsumaki shook her head and paused to look down. “The war is going to start in a few minutes.”

All of the heroes above a certain rank were given a watch to remind them of certain things.

Such as when the war will start.

“Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go there!” Kenjiki summoned The Door and brought Kyoka with him.

The ones that were left in the room were Tatsumaki, Fubuki, and Psykos.

“You can watch, but don’t ever join in the fight.” Tatsumaki glared at Fubuki, giving her a warning.

“I’m an adult too!” Fubuki stormed out and entered The Door.

A sigh escaped Tatsumaki’s mouth who then stared at Psykos.

“Aren’t you Fubuki’s friend from back then?” Tatsumaki glanced at Psykos and recognized who she was.

“I am honored that the Psychic Queen remembered me.” Psykos smirked and nodded.

“Cut the chit-chat. Just remember if something ever happens to Fubuki, you will be the first one to die.” Tatsumaki exploded her psychic power and concentrated it to pressure Psykos.

However, something out of Tatsumaki’s expectations happened.

Psykos blocked her psychic attack with ease and even pushed her back.

It went back as a shock to Tatsumaki, who couldn’t believe that someone could fight back her psychic attack.

Yes, she might’ve held back and only used a fragment of her power.

This didn’t mean that one could just resist the attack.

“It seems you’re a bit strong.” Tatsumaki grunted and went into The Door after much consideration.

Psykos followed suit and entered The Door.

“Have you talked with her?” Kenjiki looked at Psykos who had just arrived.

“Yes, master.” Psykos replied with a bow.

“Then good.” Kenjiki nodded and patted the empty space beside him.

They sat on the highest floor of the arena that Nagant built beforehand, knowing that a free-for-all war between the heroes and villains wouldn’t be enjoyable to watch.

So, she built an area that was almost as big as a city.

Its sheer size shocked everyone who came to scout the arena where they would fight.

The scale was simply something that they wouldn’t ever dare to think about.

“There they are.”
