CHAPPY 62 - "I, NEJIRE HADO, EXTEND AN INVITATION FOR KENJIKI TO COME INSIDE ME."
--[--]...[--]--
What awaited Monkey King once he destroyed the golem was an explosion of pink smoke contained within the golem's body that exploded the moment the golem was destroyed.
Because he was still a few meters away from the ground, he couldn’t avoid the smoke going into his body which caused a sense of exhaustion to assault his mind that caused his action to slow down to the point he almost closed his eyes to sleep.
But before that could happen. Monkey King pounded his chest as hard as he could, which shocked him awake, albeit he felt the exhaustion still lingered in his mind, seducing him for a soothing sleep.
*bam*
Before, he was forced to receive all of the attacks solely because he was in midair where he couldn’t move away to dodge any of them. But now, there’s a wide grin on his face as he finally landed on the ground.
Though, he didn’t forget to keep an eye on the macho man as it’s quite annoying to be thrown into the sky.
But since he saw that Tiger wasn’t moving anywhere and instead was observing him from afar with the others. Monkey King grabbed more of his furs and threw them to the side. Where a clone puffed into existence as the two clones up in the sky vanished from the world.
“Hmm?” Monkey King frowned when he noticed that there was only one clone. 'Did that smoke do this to me?'
Monkey King couldn't think of something other than the smoke that could've done this to him. As he was more than able to create 2 clones just a minute ago. Well, it's not like one less clone would affect him greatly considering that he could fare against all of them ganging up on him.
"Let's get this thing done." Monkey King once again scraped a handful of his fur and clenched his palm as another puff sounded.
*swoosh*
A long staff appeared on his hand, seemingly made out of his fur while still being hard enough to be straight. Not just that, his clone also did the same, then sprinted at the heroes first followed by the real him.
Now, it seemed that he was just caught off guard by their sudden increase in strength that seemed none of them knew how it came to be. Once he had gauged his enemies’ strength and adapted to it, he could easily fight at the same level as them.
Because, no matter how strong they suddenly got, and that they seemingly got the upper hand. The fight still descended into an unwinnable fight where Monkey King foiled whatever plan Nezu had concocted to make use of their newfound strength.
"Is this how strong humans are here?" Furina frowned watching how easily the so-called heroes get bested by monsters. "How did they survive this long when there are monsters of this caliber going around?"
Furina was starting to doubt how weak the world actually was, when its Heroes couldn't even defeat a monster with a number advantage. It's laughable as she watched five people unable to land a decisive blow even after so long.
"What a pitiful world." Furina couldn’t help but compare them with the creatures that lurked in her domain. "Will it survive when the game inevitably comes to this world?"
All this world had until it would inevitably meet its end, was time. Because from all she had seen, the world had a severe lack of beings who could fare in the apocalyptic world that's to come. However, considering the low magic density and the lack of any magic knowledge, it would probably be boosted if the game ever took place here.
The author's narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
That’s if any game would actually take place here. Because no god would partake in a game where they knew Kenjiki was definitely going to go against them in any way possible just for the sake of it. On the other spectrum, there’s always a handful of deranged gods who were more than happy to fight him.
Furina then strode toward her group, leaving Pixie-Bob behind to herself so that she could concentrate on controlling her golems.
"Say, do you want to help your teachers?" Furins placed an unrefusable offer in front of them.
Being the good hero-in-training that they were. All of them accepted her offer and waited for her to speak to hear what they needed to do for this chance.
"This is gonna cost your body. But if it doesn't bother you, feel free to take this Vision." Furina dangled a piece of accessory that had a massive gem embedded in the front.
As they had spent time in another world, they had been accustomed to hearing unknown terms that they spat out, making them quite immune to being confused.
While they didn't believe that some accessory would help them in any way shape or form. But they couldn't afford to waste any more time and Kendo took the Vision thinking it was the only one just to see a new one had already appeared in the place of the previous one.
This sight raised a question, because they had the misconception that only one of them could receive this Vision. But, now that the Vision seemed to be endless, each one of them grabbed one.
"Am I wrong for expecting a drastic strength boost?" Nejire looked all over her body for any change, but alas nothing had changed.
Not just her, but everyone else also looked disappointed after they seemingly got fooled by Furina who promised them a way to get stronger. Well, free lunch such as that never once existed without a huge caveat.
"Well no, it's just your Vision hasn't been activated." Furina then told them the word they had to say to activate them.
Kendo widened her eyes in shock after hearing what he needed to say.
After hesitating for a few moments, she suddenly heard someone had started before she could even make up her mind.
"I, Nejire Hado, extend an invitation for Kenjiki to come inside me." Nejire said with a red face, embarrassed about the things she just said.
A deafening silence engulfed the surroundings as nothing happened even after Nejire said such an embarrassing thing in front of her friends.
Fortunately for her, The Door appeared beside Furina facing the sky where Kenjiki’s upper body slowly rose out of it. The first thing he did was to pinch Furina's ear and pull it as hard as he could.
"Why did you tell them to say that? All they needed to do was to attach the Vision on their body." Kenjiki then pinched her cheek as she furiously apologized. "And you, how did you actually believe her?"
Everyone's gaze was directed towards Nejire who had become redder than the shade of red as she contemplated what she was thinking to say in that sentence just now.
All she could do to avert their gaze was to do the thing that Kenjiki said while pinching Furina. To attach her Vision on her belt as she noticed that it changed color into that of a light green.
"I'll go now." Kenjiki bid farewell to the girls and waved as he vanished alongside The Door.
"Was he naked just now?" Someone outside the group couldn't help but ask, as he accidentally landed his eyes on the sight of Kenjiki's naked upper body while he was busy dealing with Furina.
"Who was?" The one who stood beside him and was confused hearing his friend being weird.
"I don't know." He thought about it for a bit and realized that he didn't recognize who kenjiki was, even though he felt that he had seen him somewhere.
The girls blushed when they heard that conversation, as they had the front view of that scenery but didn't say anything about it in the fear of being called a pervert for concentrating on that aspect of him.
"What did you get?" Kendo asked Nejire while attaching her own Vision as she tried her best erasing what she had seen from her memory.
Nejire looked at her hands and felt something was different from usual. Closing her eyes, she tried to activate this new feeling she just got and felt a breeze flowing through her hands.
This surprised the girls who had known of Nejire’s quirk and that’s definitely not wind manipulation.
“You'd better move fast, because your teachers are losing.” Furina then snapped them out of their surprise. “We had wasted a lot of time fooling around, so I’ll give you a temporary boost to fight the monkey.”
Like before, Furina manifested a few small jellyfish which quickly stung the girls.
