Chapter 87 - ‘Eternal Winter Palace’

CHAPPY 87 - ‘ETERNAL WINTER PALACE’

--[--] A Few Days Later [--]--

A group of old men stood in the sky, looking down at the Wu Manor.

Their mere presence evoked a sense of tranquility in contrast to the pressure they were emitting that suffocated everyone in their sleep.

“Wu Chan! Come out of your house!!” A shout blared through the whole city, waking up everyone from their sleep.

Confusion overwhelmed everyone since they realized that the one who shouted wasn’t close by.

Which meant that the one who shouted was probably a cultivator.

Everyone immediately went back to their sleep and waited for the problems between cultivators to stop.

So that, if they were to die as collateral, they would die in their sleep.

The situation in the Wu Manor was a bit different since they were being suffocated by the invisible pressure.

Thankfully, the pressure suddenly disappeared, allowing them to breathe again.

“Who are they?” Kenjiki looked up at the old men.

“They are grand elders of the sect whose sect leader you killed yesterday.” Lady Wu, or also known as Wu Chan readily answered his question from beneath him.

“Those types of people, huh?” Kenjiki understood that those guys came here to get revenge.

It was to be expected that things proceeded this way since he literally killed all of the influential people in the region.

The sect leaders of the top sects to be exact.

“Milord, what should we do? Those old men are unreasonable and strong.” Wu Xiaoyin answered, kneeling beside her mother.

“Let’s invite them inside.” Kenjiki flicked the air.

*BAng!*

Part of the ceiling disappeared, revealing the outside world and the old men who were looking directly at them.

The explosion caught those people off guard, since they didn’t expect that someone would be so disrespectful to them.

They were the type of people that enjoyed being revered and worshiped.

When something like this happened, they didn’t know how to proceed.

“Come in.” A voice entered their ears, causing frowns to form on their faces.

They were being invited into a room, a room that they couldn’t spy into due to a restriction that negated their sense.

“Fuck sake, come in.” The voice grew annoyed when those old people didn’t even bother moving.

“Reveal yourself!” One of the old men was annoyed and bellowed down.

“Nuh uh.” The voice was rejected. “You come in.”

It was at this point that they suddenly felt an invisible hand grabbing their body, pulling them down into the room.

Without them being able to react and fight back the hand, they realized that they were already in the room.

“Welcome.” Kenjiki greeted them with a smile.

The old men were agape and speechless, unable to comprehend the debauchery that was taking place in front of them.

Two women they were sure to be mother and daughter were kneeling in front of a naked man.

What’s baffling was that they were completely out of this world, simply focused on one thing: the naked man’s cock.

“What is the meaning of this?” A white-haired old man broke the silence.

“Why are you asking me? You came here.” Kenjiki raised his eyebrow.

Sure was funny to see someone being so up in their ass that they couldn’t accept that someone wasn’t catering to their feelings.

However, this only enraged that old man.

A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.

Who, quite literally threw a ball of light capable of destroying a city at Kenjiki.

“Have eyes but couldn’t recognize Mount Tai.” The white-haired old man snorted.

There was no need for him to do anything else, knowing that Lady Wu and the beast didn’t have that high of cultivation to be able to block the attack.

Weirdly.

*snap*

The light ball suddenly disappeared before it could finish what it meant to do.

“Mount Tai my ass.” Kenjiki looked at the white-haired old man and crumpled his mana into a small ball of light.

In the next moment, he did a pitching motion as the ball of light exploded the white-haired old man’s head.

Everything happened in a flash, no one could react as the old man died just like that.

The others immediately brought their weapon out and readied to attack only to realize that they had already died.

“You guys and beyond saving.” Kenjiki lost all of his motivation and directly killed all of them.

No matter what, these people just wouldn’t act like a normal person and go on in their little world.

“Let's continue.” Kenjiki sat back down, watching the mother and daughter continue to do their things.

These past few days, he had been putting his all on getting to them.

Luckily for him, his vampire form being fully unveiled made the pheromones he emitted stronger by many times.

While the pheromones didn’t actually make them wanna have sex with him directly.

It made him think in a good light, making it easier for him to go under their skirt.

All that being said, their relationship was at most for sexual fulfillment and nothing more.

“Kenjiki, should I clean up things?” Wu Xiaoyin stood up, looking at the corpses scattered on the ground.

“Sure things.” Kenjiki nodded, watching as she stood up from the ground, where her towering height simply obscured everything.

—[ Snowy Plains ]—

“Junior Sister! We have arrived at the sect!” A fair-skinned girl spoke enthusiastically, introducing the majestic and massive gate that had Chinese characters carved on it.

‘Eternal Winter Palace’

Kyoka looked at the characters written on the plaque, although they looked familiar. It wasn’t written in a language she understood.

Weirdly, she could understand the language the girl was speaking although she couldn't for the love of god understand its written counterpart.

Unlike Kenjiki’s more frantic and panicked reaction to them being separated.

Kyoka was adapting to the environment around her with ease as Cyrene’s warning had given her enough time to know what to expect.

Just as expected, they were separated.

Seemingly to be a natural, Kyoka was found by a group of girls the same age as her who had stumbled upon her by chance.

After a short time of bonding and sharing stories with each other, Kyoka was integrated into the group to the point they were calling her with the term Junior Sister.

“Are you sure that I can go in?” Kyoka spoke with hesitation, knowing that this kind of place surely wouldn’t allow just anyone to enter.

“Don’t worry, our eldest sister is an influential person here.” One of them boasted with a proud smile.

Meanwhile, the group had been noticed by the guards in charge of the gate, who had been focusing solely on Kyoka since she didn't carry the sect’s token.

“Inner Disciple Xun Yi greets Fairy Ru.” One of the guards identified herself and bowed down at the one walking in front of the group. “May I inquire about the stranger’s identity?”

“She is a lost ones we found in Dark Pine Forest.” Fairy Ru didn't bother continuing the explanation and only waited for the guards’ decision.

“We’re deeply sorry for wasting your time, Fairy Ru.” The guard bowed down while the other opened the gate, allowing them to enter.

They walked in with no difficulty and they headed into a special department that only existed here in this place.

‘Lost Ones Hall’

It was still unreadable for her, but thanks to her friend who liked to tell her every little thing about everything.

Kyoka realized a recurring word.

“Lost ones? What is that?” Kenjiki was quite curious.

“To put it simply, it’s a name for girls who appeared in the Dark Pine Forest with seemingly no recollection of this place and how they got here.” Fairy Ru, for the first time, spoke in a long sentence.

Kyoka listened to the explanation and felt it was true, although she did know how she had gotten here.

“Due to lost ones kept being discovered over time, our sect decided to build this hall and record every one of them.” Fairy Ru continued her explanation.

This was quite a shock to the rest of the girls since they rarely saw or heard her speak so many words in one breath.

For the majority of the time, Fairy Ru only used her eyes to communicate, since for whatever reason, anyone who was glared at by her instinctively understood what she wanted.

But to see her speaking so much was major breaking news for the sect.

“Is there anything I need to do to stay here? I’m sure that you guys are not some sort of charity organization that would take in people without getting anything back.” Kyoka and the rest of them entered the building.

“Greetings Fairy Ru!” The whole building shook as everyone stood up and greeted them.

“At ease.” Fairy Ru nodded at them. “Please guide her on the procedure.”

Seeing a chance to suck up to her, everyone offered themselves to administer Kyoka.

That was until the Hall Leader came out of her office, curious as to what caused the commotion.

“Little Ru brought her here herself?” The Hall Leader widened her eyes a bit. “I’ll be responsible for her, so get back to your post.”

The Hall Leader scrutinized Kyoka from head to toe, wanting to see what caused Fairy Ru to bother herself coming here.

“I’m Xin Yincheon, what’s your name?” Xin Yincheon introduced herself, while she glanced at everyone else telling them to go back.

Now that Kyoka had been brought to someone responsible, the group bid farewell before they realized that Fairy Ru wanted to stay here.

Before they could even question her, Fairy Ru had already disappeared into Xin Yincheon’s office.

A place that was off-limits to everyone.

Unable to do anything, they decided to leave without their leader.
