CHAPPY 81 - A MEETING OF HEROES
--[--] A Week Later - U.A. High [--]--
UA High had long become Kenjiki’s playground.
None of the teachers bothered to care about him, letting him do as he pleased.
Mostly because every time they wanted to do anything to him, a bunch of money would land in the school’s bank account without warning.
Numbering in the millions.
This put them into a dilemma, on one hand, they wanted to be unbiased and treat Kenjiki like other students.
On one hand, the money kept on coming in infinitely whenever they did something to Kenjiki.
So, as a last resort, they decided to let him be to stop the money from flowing in.
All of this ended with Kenjiki spending all of his time flirting with Kyoka for the last week.
“Still, I didn’t expect that Furina would be in school of all places.” Kenjiki couldn’t hide his disbelief.
“She seemed to be close with Itsuka Kendo at that.” Kyoka too was surprised.
Unable to believe that the borderline antisocial woman would get close to anyone.
Using The Door as a screen to watch things from afar, today they were spying on class 1-B where Furina could be found attentively looking at the board.
For the last week, Furina spent all of her time in the Kendo household, creating a lively atmosphere all day long.
“It’s better than talking to the fish.” Kenjiki remembered how Furina would gather all the fish around her domain and start an impromptu storytelling session.
They continued to chat for a bit, wasting time for a bit until the door of their classroom suddenly opened.
What came out of the door was a big worm, slithering into the classroom.
“You’re not having sex? That’s surprising.” Aizawa opened his eyes when he realized that no weird noises were going around.
Kenjiki’s mouth twitched, realizing how big of a degenerate he was in the eyes of most people in the school.
“Right, right. Is there something you need to tell us about?” Kenjiki instantly changed the topic, realizing that a petite hand grabbed his thigh.
Before things would escalate any further, Kenjiki already changed the topic.
At the same time, Kenjiki regretted ever introducing outdoor sex to her.
“It’s about the Hero Special Admission. After a very long planning and deliberation, we finally decided to recommend you to the program.” Aizawa ignored everything and closed his eyes again.
“That thing? Have they finally decided to go forward with the plan now?” Kenjiki remembered hearing about it on TV.
Coincidentally, it was also Aizawa and Nezu who introduced this program to the world back when AFO sent that abomination into the school grounds.
“Yes, and I’m waiting for your answer before proceeding to the next part.” Aizawa groaned in annoyance.
The only reason it took things this look to become reality was how stubborn the higher-ups of the Hero Public Safety Commission were.
Continuing to babble on that such attack was just a one-time thing.
It was only after a website appeared that things finally took off.
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
A website that Nagant made to announce to the world about the war.
The first impression of that site was absurd since it was hard to comprehend that all villains around the world were under one person.
However, monsters started appearing one after another declaring that they were from a villain organization called League of Villains.
Only then that people connect the dots.
“I am in.” Kenjiki answered after inquiring about Kyoka’s thoughts about this.
“Then let’s go.” Aizawa got out of his sleeping bag and led the way for them.
Even though wasting time was a fun thing to do, preparing for war seemed to be more fun than anything.
Just like that, they rode multiple vehicles for the next few hours until they finally arrived at their destination.
It was a man-made island that seemed to be sloppily made by a certain grumpy person.
Aesthetically it’s shit, but it excels on functionally since it was only used as a meeting point between the two worlds.
“It’s you.” Kenjiki recognized a familiar person.
“Why are you here?!” Tatsumaki couldn’t believe her eyes, she never thought that the one recommended by them was him.
Kenjiki too was taken aback, but rather than being shocked, he became more interested in this program more than ever.
“I was told to be here and here I am.” Kenjiki explained confidently.
“You knew each other?” Aizawa couldn’t believe the reach of his connection.
It was one thing that Kenjiki knew someone rich enough to keep on shoving them bribe money, but to think that he was an acquaintance with the supposed strongest psychic.
“Hell no! There’s no way that I know this pervert!” Tatsumaki grunted and left the place without a second thought.
“You’re too pushy back then.” Kyoka watched as the petite back faded.
“I know, I’m just teasing her.” Kenjiki just laughed it off.
Meanwhile, Aizawa just realized that Kenjiki must’ve tried to get under Tatsumaki’s skirt for her to react that strongly.
For Kenjiki, it wasn’t something that wouldn’t happen, considering what he had been doing on the school grounds.
As to not waste any more time standing around, Aizawa led them into the building to meet the others.
There, they saw some recognizable people sitting in a circle.
“Why is he here?” All Might was taken aback when he saw Kenjiki walking into the room.
The others also reacted the same way, since they didn’t expect to see a teenager here.
All of them were here to represent their country, except for the three S-Ranked Heroes from before that represented a whole continent.
“It’s that guy again? Who is he actually?” The stoic samurai from before narrowed his eyes when he recognized Kenjiki.
“I’d expect him to be the representative of Japan, seeing where he sits and how strong he is.” Bang was editing his impression of Kenjiki.
Their thoughts were interrupted when someone coughed.
“I’m here to lead the meeting.” A middle-aged man stood in front of a TV. “I’m sure that everyone already received the necessary briefing beforehand.”
While everyone was listening with all of their focus, Kyoka realized something.
“I thought I was supposed to go somewhere and train with my fellow hero?” Kyoka whispered to Kenjiki who wasn’t paying attention in the slightest.
“Yeah, that’s true.” Kenjiki turned his head to look at Aizawa beside him.
Obviously, Aizawa noticed their gazes and told them to wait for a moment until the speaker finished the introduction.
Kenjiki and Kyoka had no choice but to shut their mouths and wait for him to finish.
“How about now?” Kenjiki spoke the moment he saw that the speaker went to sit down.
“Fine.” Aizawa was going to avoid telling him, but it seemed to be impossible. “You’re here due to your special identity. We noticed that one of your maids appeared on the website.”
Being the oblivious person that he was, Kenjiki hadn’t actually looked into the website that was being the hottest topic for the last week.
Since Kenjiki could just go to Nagant and ask her for everything he needed to know.
“Raiden Ei, is that the name of your maid?” Aizawa threw a name, wanting to confirm his suspicion before continuing.
“Well, yes.” Kenjiki didn’t know where this was going and could only wait for Aizawa to tell him.
Upon receiving the last confirmation he needed, Aizawa stood up and went into the front.
“I, Shota Aizawa, am here to introduce every person that was listed in the website.” Aizawa nodded to the operator. “This here is the most recent information we have at the moment.”
On the screen appeared a long list of names with their portraits.
With the top of the list being the exception since the name was unknown and the portrait was just a silhouette.
However, the next two on the list were Raiden Ei and Shenhe, complete with a sophisticatedly edited portrait of them.
