CHAPPY 74 - AMAI MASK
--[--]...[--]--
The spaceship slowly fell from the sky, obscuring any lights from touching the ground causing a moment of absolute darkness when the spaceship was meters away from the ground.
The darkness continued as the ship crashed onto the ground, killing every powerless citizen who might’ve survived the initial blasts.
Even Tatsumaki’s nigh-omnipotent psychokinesis couldn’t save them, because if they didn’t die from the explosion, they most likely would die from suffocation from being buried deep in the ground.
“Did he kill the alien boss already? Faster than I expected.” Kenjiki stood there dazed, surrounded by the spaceship’s fragments. However, he was more interested in what happened to the monster after it had a whole spaceship crashed into it. “You alive there?”
While he was still alive even after all of that, the monster was unable to move since he was still adapting to the new power that grew inside his body as a result of being drowned in Kenjiki’s blood.
All he could do was groan and squirm around trying to move the rubbles out of the way.
Though, unsure if it’s a lucky thing or not, Kenjiki brought him out and let him heal.
“Let’s see how an alien fares after drinking that much blood.” Kenjiki brought out a chair and watched the monster squirm.
Meanwhile, the other heroes had killed their respective monsters using the information that Tatsumaki had given them,
Erasing any evidence of his existence from the world, aside from the one that Kenjiki was toying with.
As a result, even the heroes wanted to save him and gave him a mercy killing seeing how it was squirming and muttering something.
“Shouldn’t we be doing something about that?” A huge dark-skinned muscle mass pointed at Kenjiki.
“Why don’t you?” Metal Bat simply didn’t want anything to do with him, seeing how deranged he was to be able to continue torturing a monster right after being hit by a spaceship.
The only one who didn’t think was the hunchbacked old man who tiptoed around the rubbles.
“Don’t you think it’s time to kill it?” The old man stood beside Kenjiki, watching the monster squirming in pain.
“Not really, the mutation hasn’t finished, yet. Also, what’s your name oldie? Your martial arts looks interesting.” Kenjiki turned to look at the old man.
Although Kenjiki seemed to be focusing solely on the monster in front of him, he had actually observed each of the heroes fighting against the other heads of the monster.
The one that intrigued him the most was this old man beside him, being able to deflect every attack thrown at him no matter how strong they were.
“Isn’t introducing yourself first the norm when asking someone’s name?” The old man smiled. “The name is Bang, you can go to my dojo if you’re interested in my martial arts.”
“Maybe later. But you’d want to be away before the guy wakes up.” Kenjiki warned the old man, realizing that the monster was calming down.
While Bang didn’t understand what Kenjiki was saying, he’d rather believe him and leave the place when it was still safe knowing that his bones already weakened after fighting for so long.

Regrouping with the rest of the heroes, Bang noticed that there was an addition to the group.
The typical Ikemen who despised everyone else and thought of themselves as the perfect being.
“Why is Amai Mask here?” Bang walked with his hands on the back.
“Why can’t I be here? The commotion you guys made is loud enough to reach other cities.” Amai Mask glared at the old man, not caring if the other person was a senior citizen.
“Is that so?” Bang nodded with a smile, which annoyed Amai Mask.
Despite not being an S-Class hero like the rest of them who were here.
Amai Mask ran his mouth without care, not putting any one of the S-Class heroes in his eyes.
Which expectedly annoyed everyone, seeing how someone who didn’t participate in the battle that took place just now was actually the one being the loudest of the group.
On the other hand, no one could be bothered to care about Amai Mask when they have already wasted all of their energy.
Realizing that he was being ignored. Amai Mask grunted and approached the only person who hadn’t regrouped, a boy who was sitting in front of an unconscious monster.
This sight disgusted him, seeing a human letting a monster live rather than directly killing it.
“Who are you?” Kenjiki looked back at the stranger who had just waltzed towards the monster.
Amai Mask had only just realized something annoying about Kenjiki.
Kenjiki was the embodiment of the word Ikemen.
“Why haven’t you killed the monster?” Amai Mask raised his hands, preparing to knife-hand the monster.
“The time isn’t ripe yet.” Kenjiki sighed, after being asked the same thing twice. Then he realized that the monster was regaining his consciousness. “Why don’t you try doing it yourself?”
*ROAAAR!!*
The monster instantly threw hands at the first thing he saw, Amai Mask.
Which caused the hero who was caught off guard to disappear from reality and reappear hundreds of meters away.
“Quite strong. I’ll call you Bigzargard then.” Kenjiki nodded, watching how strong the monster had become in such a short time.
Though it was then Kenjiki realized something disappointing.
Bigzargard roared once again and pounced at Kenjiki with all of his strength, only to be cut in half by the claymore like butter being cut by bullets.
Weirdly, he didn’t care about the injury that was instantaneously being healed and continued to smash everything around him with all of his strength.
“A failure, huh.” Kenjiki groaned, seeing how the monster had been degraded into a mindless rampaging monster.
Losing its ability to feel pain and think for itself, Bigzargard could only mindlessly attack just for the sake of it.
“But still, its strength is better than anticipated.” Kenjiki dodged every attack, knowing that any one of them landing on his body would result in a quite fatal injury.
Solely because Kenjiki was deprived of mana that usually did its job to protect him.
Now that it was gone, Kenjiki had become increasingly wary of each attack and dodged them instead of letting his body tank it.
Fortunately, while Bigzargard had become exponentially stronger thanks to his blood, its speed hadn’t improved that much.
Allowing Kenjiki to predict every attack and parry them.
Instead of feeling overwhelmed like a normal person would in this situation.
When he was being dominated by a monster into defending every attack and dodging them, a new feeling arose inside Kenjiki.
A feeling of excitement.
A feeling that if he lost against a monster, he would be injured.
“Isn’t this just the best??!” Kenjiki laughed, which confused everyone who was watching from afar.
Completely baffled at the sight of a human getting so excited fighting against a monster.
“Is he insane?” Tatsumaki asked the obvious.
“Master is just excited.” Shenhe replied with something that baffled everyone more.
At first they just jokingly thought that Kenjiki was excited to fight that monster.
But the moment that it was confirmed by someone who seemed to be his woman, they simply couldn’t believe such absurdity.
“Ken had never gotten this excited when we had sex. Am I that bad at it?” Kyoka lamented from the back, causing everyone who heard her to freeze in shock.
