CHAPPY 70 - S-CLASS HEROES MEETING
--[--]...[--]--
“Are we going to stay here for any longer?” Mirko voiced her thoughts, wanting to move her sore limbs that had been restricted by how cramped the apartment room was.
This feeling wasn’t exclusive to her, since Kyoka and Shenhe had started getting uncomfortable spending any more time in a stranger’s apartment.
On top of that, the owner had left the apartment leaving only them, a group of strangers in the apartment.
Realizing that he had been forcing them to stay back since he said so, Kenjiki summoned The Door and prepared to leave as he suddenly snapped his head towards the ceiling.
“Let’s go, something interesting is going to happen.” Kenjiki was quite surprised at what his mana led him to see, something so massive approaching Earth at a steady pace.
They take turns leaving the apartment while Kenjiki and Shenhe stay behind, cleaning the place just enough not to leave the leftovers to rot and stink.
Leaving Kyoka and Mirko to wonder as to why they spend so much time in the apartment.
However, they ultimately stopped themselves from going back in and instead looked at their surroundings.
Only then did they realize that the black floor they were standing on was the roof of a skyscraper, a building that towered over everything around it making them look small.
The architectural style of the skyscraper was quite different compared to others, where this jet-black building seemingly had no windows of any kind.
Only leaving the outer shell of the skyscraper to look flat from the top to bottom.
Kyoka couldn’t help but compare it to Kenjiki’s tower in America, although this one was a bit shorter.
As they were wondering why he brought them here of all places, The Door creaked and opened as Kenjiki and Shenhe walked out with their clothes drenched wet.
“What took you so long?” Kyoka turned her head and asked the reason for his late arrival.
“A naughty quickie.” Kenjiki gave her an ambiguous grin as he stepped on the edge of the building where they arrived using The Door, leaving Kyoka suspicious since she realized their clothes were wet. “Wait for me up here, something will arrive shortly.”
This made her suspicion grow, thinking that they actually had sexual intercourse in a stranger’s home.
Thankfully for everyone, before she could even ask that question to him, she saw him spreading his dusty wings.
“Is there anything around here? Why would he tell us to stay here?” Kyoka finally asked Shenhe, someone who might know something.
Shenhe was silent even though she had heard the question, as she was currently focusing her sight on something that was on the horizon, farther than anything Kyoka and Mirko could see.
Even Mirko who was known to have better eyesight than most people due to her quirk couldn’t see anything on the horizon, much less know what they were.
“Three creatures are approaching our direction at a breakneck speed. What’s more, there’s something blocking my sense of space.” Shenhe slowly looked up to the sky, and the clouds seemed to get darker than usual.
The scale was just too big for anyone to make sure of what they were looking at.
The dark cloud was the size of the whole city, but due to its subtle change, no one noticed that anything was different and proceeded with their life as usual.
Without saying anything to the women, Kenjiki glided down and stopped as his mana sense picked up the familiar presence he was looking for, the baldy and the cyborg.
“There you are.” Kenjiki stood in front of the wall and overflowed his fingers with mana before grabbing the wall with both of his hands. “Room service!”
*CLunk*
A section of the wall came off, revealing a dimly lit room where a group of unique-looking people were sitting around a holographic table that was showcasing a piece of unfolded paper.
The commotion caused everyone in the room to turn their head towards Kenjiki, as he just made a new source of light into the otherwise dark room.
Due to Kenjiki’s appearance being that of a normal human, no one in the room took any drastic measures and only investigated what had happened, only to conclude that the boy had shanked off the wall.
The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
This caused another question to arise, how the fuck did he do that? They were sure that the part of the wall that just came off was thicker than a meter.
“Boy, how did you remove that from the wall?” A flashy man appeared in the place where a wall was supposed to exist. Pointing at the big chunk of the wall that was still in Kenjiki's hand.
“Nothing much, I just broke it off.” Kenjiki looked around for a place to put down the chunk of wall and finally decided to stick it on the side. “Can I join the fun?”
Although Kenjiki asked for their permission, he didn’t bother to wait for their answer and walked into the room before taking out a chair for himself, which baffled everyone.
“What a cutie!” A macho prisoner exclaimed when he was finally able to get a clear view of Kenjiki. “Do you want to accompany me to the prison?”
Towering Kenjiki with his sheer height, the macho prisoner posed in front of him and blew some kisses that he sharply cut with all of his might, not wanting to be touched by any of that.
As a safety measure against him, Kenjiki moved his chair away as far as he could.
Once everything had calmed down, the one who looked out of place in this varying assortment of people.
Sitch coughed to get everyone’s attention that he lost the moment Kenjiki appeared.
While the presence of such a young boy caught him off guard, it wasn’t that shocking. Since there’s even a younger boy in the room with them for even longer.
On top of that, being able to remove the wall of this building had proven Kenjiki’s strength to everyone.
More so for Sitch who needed powerful people the most out of all people, knowing a disaster would befall them and one more manpower was more than welcome.
“My name is Sitch, may I get to know your name?” Sitch initiated a conversation with Kenjiki who was fervently being chased by the macho prisoner.
“Kenjiki Shinketsu.” Kenjiki said his name out loud before punching his chaser in the nose.
It seemed, however, that the macho prisoner wasn’t deterred by the punch and instead chased him harder than ever.
Kenjiki, who was used to having been chased by women, only now realized that a man chasing him down was scary, especially when the one who chased him had those chest hairs escaping out of his shirt.
Thankfully, the macho prisoner finally stopped when an invisible force shackled his body preventing him from ever moving again.
Not stopping at that, the macho prisoner was being pulled towards his seat and was bound using bent metal.
From the look of it, another child in the room had used some sort of telekinesis to stop the kerfuffle from continuing.
While she looked too young to his liking, Kenjiki stopped his chair beside her since she was the only woman here in the sea of sausages flopping around the room.
Only then did he realize that he had seen her face somewhere on TV.
Tatsumaki, said to be the strongest living human only behind Blast who had never appeared for the last few years.
However, the other person seemed to glare at him when she realized that he was deliberately sitting close to her. W
With whatever lecher thought in his mind since everyone knew that she was a god behind a child's skin.
Even though the situation had calmed down, Sitch’s mouth was twitching hard watching the most influential group of people fool around with no care of their outlook.
Well, it would require a fool to think that these groups of people were sophisticated types of people.
“Ahem.” Sitch coughed, glancing over everyone in the room, bringing up the unfolded piece of paper again.” Before her death, the Great Seer had predicted one last disaster. Something that is most likely to be a Dragon-Level disaster.”
A piece of paper floated over the table, where two words could be seen: ‘EARTH! DANGER!!’, signifying the gravity of the situation.
“I thought this was just a joke the first time. Is this real? Believing in a seer in this day and age?” A child spoke as he licked his lollipop.
“I know it’s doubtful for you, a boy of science. But Madame Shibabawa has been the backbone of our association, alerting us of every major disaster, preventing huge casualties from going down.” Sitch looked at the boy with a condescending look. “And, we must prioritize her prediction above everything.”
Although the boy was annoyed that he was being treated like a child, he only grunted and cracked his lollipop and listened to whatever he had to say knowing his words didn’t weigh that much.
“Whatever that’s to come is likely the strongest disaster we ever faced, and we’ve only been given a six-month timeline to prepare.” Sitch raised his voice.
While the whole room was in a high mood thinking of a way to prepare against this disaster that was to come.
A certain someone was blowing bubbles through his nose, that popper when Genos tapped on his shoulder.
“But it might as well happen tomorrow or even today.” Saitama pretended to be serious as he voiced his thoughts.
Something that everyone had also thought about, but no one wanted to acknowledge this possibility knowing that they wouldn’t be able to get ready and would be caught off guard.
“You’re right. And who are you again?” Sitch agreed, only to realize that he was someone not on the list.
“Who I am is not important. Because it’s a good thing I came--” Saitama smiled but was interrupted halfway.
*BOOM*
*BOOM*
Explosion after an explosion shook the whole building, making everyone alert while Tatsumaki instantly flew out of the room using the pathway that Kenjiki had created before, only to see three bird people hurtling energy balls towards the building.
“False alarm.” Tatsumaki shook her head, seeing that it was not the predicted world disaster.
But before she could release her telekinetic power to kill those bird people, their bodies exploded into minced paste leaving only their corpses to be pulled down by gravity.
“WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING!?!”
The clouds got darker than they should have been, and they realized that they weren't clouds and instead were the bottom of a spaceship.
