CHAPPY 63 - LAST 4 HITS

--[--]...[--]--

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! FALL BACK!!” Midnight shouted the moment she noticed Kendo appeared behind Monkey King with her huge arm that was covered in fire.

Although she didn’t know what kind of quirk gave her to have that fire aspect on her hand.

Midnight would never have thought that Kendo could do any substantial damage to the Monkey King they had been struggling with.

Any minor injuries inflicted on his monster body were instantly healed as if they never existed in the first place.

Even her quirk was no use as Monkey King could just smack himself awake to negate the effect.

*whack!*

Kendo’s big hand landed faster than anyone could react.

Even Monkey King was taken aback by the attack as all of his focus was put on the heroes, resulting in him being caught off guard by something he should’ve been able to dodge easily.

“There’s no end to this.” Monkey King groaned, feeling the searing pain from his back. “What’s that girl’s quirk supposed to be? Fire Giant?”

“That’s not important now, is it?” A question was heard by everyone before suddenly Monkey King was flung back and groaned in pain.

Looking around, he finally found something that might’ve done this. A long-haired girl floated high in the sky supported by spring-like yellow energy while looking down at them.

While he found the most likely attacker, he still didn’t know what had attacked him.

Because it felt like he was being cut open by an invisible blade.

But one thing he knew for sure was that the trigger of the attack was Nejire moving her hands.

Even then, he couldn’t dodge the attacks as they were simply invisible and the only thing he could see was his body being cut open.

“Kendo, right? What did you do, how did the two of you suddenly get so strong?” Aizawa asked Kendo who was helping him get up.

It was normal for him to ask.

Because the students he had been using his life to protect suddenly got so strong that they could protect the one who was supposed to protect them.

But now, they seemed to be able to fare against the monster they had been having trouble keeping up with.

It didn't end just there, because Monkey King seemed to be wholly suppressed by Nejire alone.

Given no time to react or launch a counterattack, he was forced to strengthen his defense and sacrifice any power he had to not die against the invisible blade.

Faced with that question, Kendo hesitated for a moment because she herself didn't know what happened to them other than the fact that an accessory called Vision granted them a secondary quirk.

“I can't exactly explain how, but you can ask Furina for details once we deal with this monster.” Kendo carried him to safety before going towards Midnight while Uraraka and Asui went to retrieve the rest of the heroes.

Thanks to Nejire with her guessing game that occupied all of Monkey King’s attention.

All of the heroes were safely pulled back to safety and handed to Recovery Girl to be healed by her.

Once all of them had been pulled to safety.

The three of them bid farewell and joined in the fray with Nejire to overwhelm even more now that there were three more people taking turns to attack him.

Seeing this chance where the monster was busy with something.

Aizawa announced to all of the students using the watch given by Nagant to get into the nearest bus and told the bus drivers to take off once everyone was inside.

They quickly rambled around into the buses aside from the one that had been pressed into a steel plate by Monkey King an hour ago.

Confirming that everyone had left the camp, including Recovery Girl who was too old to be on a battlefield.

Aizawa for the last time checked for their reinforcement, All Might, who still hadn’t arrived until now.

While the girls seemed to be on the upper hand against Monkey King, who knew what might happen next knowing the adaptability of that monster to everything around him.

So, he had called for All Might in the worst-case scenario where all of them were defeated and went rampage looking to kill the students who had left.

“Midnight, attack the monster with your quirk.” Aizawa looked at her, still with the exhausted expression on her face.

Without wasting any more time, Midnight conjured a dense ball of smoke and threw it at Monkey King who wasn't paying any attention to them.

As a result,

The smoke exploded on his face, causing him to reflexively inhale every bit of it into his body.

While this didn't do anything as much as making him sleep, the effect was still there as Monkey King faltered and in a daze received a direct hit from four of the girls.

“GAH!?!”

A big invisible blade from the sky hits his head.

“ARGH?!?”

A gigantic burning hand to his back.

“KH—HAGH!!!”

An electric punch to the guts.

“Urghgh.”

Lastly, a slap to the cheek that deprived him of any moisture from his body.

*Thud*

The body of the unconscious Monkey King fell onto the ground, signaling the end of the fight that left everyone sluggish and tired.

To make sure that he wouldn’t go on a rampage once he woke up.

Aizawa used up all of his scarf cloths to wrap the unconscious body as tight as possible to prevent him from breaking free. Once he ran out of scarves to use, he asked Pixie-Bob to bind his limbs in place only leaving his head exposed to the world.

“--I AM HERE~!”

A scream entered everyone’s ears, followed by a loud bang where the ground not far from them exploded to pieces causing the clouds of dust to wake up and run away from the explosion.

In the center of the explosion was a buff man, even buffer compared to Tiger who was already the pinnacle of human body building.

Standing there, posing with his hands and his standing blond hair, All Might looked around in confusion as the battle he expected was nowhere to be seen.

“Am I late?” All Might cast a gaze towards Aizawa.

“Yes, by a few seconds.” Aizawa sighed as he messaged his temple in frustration.

Because for the first time, All Might was late to arrive instead of arriving at the climax of the battle and completely flipped the battle to the heroes’ favor.

“Maybe you can keep an eye on this monster, you’re the only one who has the strength to handle him.” Aizawa inhaled a ton of air, as the earth golem walked towards All Might, handing him the unconscious Monkey King.

As if people couldn’t stop arriving late, a group of students arrived with a perplexed look on their faces.

Not expecting the fight to already be over even though they had only been away for less than ten minutes.

“And what reason do you have to be here?” Aizawa groaned even louder than before because those students were his responsibility as their homeroom teacher.

Silence engulfed them.

Because they went there after being overwhelmed by guilt for abandoning their classmates who took the initiative to fight against the monster that had defeated everyone.

“Alright alright. Let’s wait until we get back to our school before we talk this out.” Nezu coughed and patted Aizawa. “I had contacted Lady Nagant, and she said that someone would pick us up.”

Now that their principal had finally said something. No one said anything and waited in silence.

Aside from Furina that was.

“What do you think of the power you just used?” Furina asked with a wide smile on her face.

Kendo looked around and hesitated to answer because everyone around her was looking at her with intrigue.

Knowing that the four of them had suddenly awakened a secondary quirk out of nowhere.
