CHAPPY 33 - STABBY WUBBY
--[--]...[--]--
Mandalay drove the car through a thick forest for a few minutes until finally, an open area filled with buildings entered their vision. The car stopped in front of an empty building, where no one could be seen around or inside the building.
"Nagant Agency gave us a bunch of money to build you guys a house of your own." Mandalay pointed at the two-floor house.
"You'd better be thanking me." Pixie-Bob puffed her chest as the house swayed following her hand movement. "It's tiring to make such a detailed structure with my quirk."
The sight of the house swaying around as if following the wind baffled them. Rocks wobbling was something they hadn't thought existed until now, and even more so they realized that the whole house was made of rocks.
"Thank you, if you'd like for a payment or some sort then meet me in the house any time." Kenjiki gave her a smirk and walked into the house leaving the pussies outside.
On the other hand, Pixie-Bob was unable to comprehend the fact that a high schooler was flirting with her while having his girlfriend watching from the side, though the girlfriend seemed unfazed.
Seeing that only the two of them left, Mandalay and Pixie-Bob left the scene with the former bickering about the fact that the latter was going hard into a minor she had just met.
As if turning back into a child, they clawed each other while hissing causing the nearby students to watch at the sight of two adult women cosplaying as a cat clawing at each other to smile awkwardly while trying their best to avert their gaze.
They continued to do so until they met a familiar orange-haired girl. To which they instantly stopped everything and stood with an awkward smile in front of the girl.
"Do you need anything from us?" Mandalay asked while frantically tidying her clothes.
"We're looking for Ms. Pixie-Bob for her quirk." Kendo looked at the other woman.
"Ahh, I haven't created the field for you guys, right?" Pixie-Bob immediately understood the reason she came all the way here and walked to the class 1-B living area.
Having been left alone, Mandalay immediately left the place and walked towards their living quarters. On the way there, she heard gurgling noises coming out of the forest as if luring her into the forest.
Mandalay chuckled at the obvious trap and tried to send her telepathic quirk to whoever was hiding in the bust being the receiving end telling them that their joke was too childish for it to be taken seriously.
But after waiting for a few minutes, no one came out of the bush which caused her to be alert because she was sure that someone had received her telepathy. Even if it's the animal that caused the gurgling noises which was a stretch, the fact that her quirk was activated meant that the other party at least had some extent of intelligence.
As an emergency measure, she sent a message to the three of her colleagues telling them that if she suddenly lost connection, something must've happened.
Once everything had been sorted out, Mandalay strode towards the bush with her paws ready for anything that might be there.
When she opened the bush to see the culprit, she saw a weird scenery, to say the least. Two gagged girls were completely tied to the tree making them unable to move their bodies aside for their eyes.

Mandalay recognized them as Mina Ashido and Tsuyu Asui from class 1-A which was supposed to be on their training field at this moment. But the sight of them being tied to the tree caused her to instantly throw that thought aside and went to unleash them from the tree.
"hmrc mhrr, hhmi m'h nmh." Ashido struggled as she shouted through her gag. "RUN!"
Mandalay was taken aback by her words but she immediately realized why. Something cold and sharp was lodged into her thigh creating a gaping wound hole which was followed by another thing piercing her other thigh.
The girl she recognized as Tsuyu Asui was holding a small knife on her right hand that sliced her thigh open and a syringe with a long tube coming out of it.
"Ahrg!" Mandalay writhed in pain. "Why, you?!"
A cat paw swung towards the green-haired girl, causing her to fly to the side and she locked her leg to the ground stopping her from flying away any further. Tsuyu Asui seemed to be unscathed as she stood there.
"Aww too bad." Tsuyu brushed her clothes clean and brought out a brand-new knife.
"I take this as you being a traitor then." Mandalay stalled for time as she activated her quirk to contact the nearest heroes. "You're surrounded right now, so you should give up now."
"Nah." Tsuyu threw a throwing knife and leaped into the cover of the forest.
Mandalay clicked her tongue and caught every throwing knife with her cat paws that seemed to be unpierceable. She looked around for the enemy as she handled the gaping hole in Ashido's thigh that she didn't realize beforehand.
"Can you walk?" Mandalay asked the girl as she used her paw to put pressure on the wound.
"I can." Ashido weakly replied, trying her best to stand up using her other leg and lay against a tree. "Please help my friend. She is unconscious under the tree right there."
The instant she heard that there was another victim, Mandalay left her there and arrived at the tree Ashido told her and looked at a strange scene of the girl that attacked her being unconscious and tied.
This confused her greatly as she had just seen the one that attacked her fleeing the opposite way. But to take a good measure, she tightened the rope instead of releasing her before carrying the girl back.
Upon arriving back at where Ashido was, she saw a tired-looking man tending to the girl.
"I don't know how to explain this, but the one that attacked me looked exactly like her." Mandalay then explained what had happened to Aizawa. "Just to be sure, I didn't release the rope."
"N-no. The one that attacked us is not Asui but someone that has some sort of appearance-changing quirk." Mina explained her side of the story.
Aizawa looked at her and fell into a deep thought trying to piece together what had actually happened. An unknown villain with a quirk to mimic other people's appearance had attacked his students for their blood. Ashido had specifically told them that she saw the attacker had multiple glass tubes that contained the blood that was sucked from the syringe.
"Don't tell your classmate yet. We don't want any bad rumors spreading while they are on holiday." Aizawa told her to keep the secret as he carried Ashido to the infirmary.
Ashido nodded to her teacher's words and silently recuperated herself on Aizawa's arm. The four of them left the area after Mandalay told her colleagues to stand by for anyone suspicious.
While saying that, she didn't realize that someone suspicious was standing not far away from them. It was Ei who had come by using The Door and wanted to stroll around the forest.
"A day hadn't even passed yet, hell, it's not even night time right now." Ei chuckled at the thought that something had already happened at the summer camp. "I thought Master had told you guys to not make a mess?"
Ei looked below at a girl she was holding by the collar of her shirt, although she had a different appearance from before she was wearing the same clothes as Tsuyu who attacked Mandalay before.
"Who are you? Who's even this master?!" The girl struggled as hard as she could but still couldn't budge the seemingly frail hand away from her collar.
The girl was a fair-skinned girl who could be described as having a pretty face. She has inward-tilting yellow eyes with thin slit-like irises, somewhat resembling those of a cat, and her wide mouth is also rather feline, as her canines are pointed and longer than the rest of her teeth, giving her a vampiric appearance. Her hair is a pale, ash-blonde color and is styled into two messy buns, with numerous wild strands sticking out a straight fringe, and two chin-length side bangs framing her face.
"Someone who could even be your master." Ei gave her a wide grin that caused the girl to shudder. "Anyways, name?"
