Chapter 39 - No Monsters Left

CHAPPY 39 - NO MONSTERS LEFT

--[--]...[--]--

*Swoooosh*

A loud wind noise swept the shore as an explosion blasted one of the monsters back into the water. Near the monster was Mineta who was bleeding from his head because he had overused his quirk to shoot them balls from his head.

"Mineta! Fall back!" Midoriya shouted as he leaped around and snatched Mineta's small body away from any monster.

"WHAT WATER SPITTING FISH? IT'S A WHOLE FISH BODY BUILDER." Mineta cried out as he looked at the monster he had just 'fought'.

Mineta who was ecstatic to use his quirk against those monsters couldn't be more regretful of his choice to come here instead of staying at their living quarters. His quirk didn't even do anything to the monsters who had slippery skin that was immune to his sticky purple balls quirk.

Previously, they came here to engage with the monsters thinking that they would at least be able to catch just one of the weaker monsters they had been hearing to be able to even make pro heroes overwhelmed.

But just the scene of chaotic battles that decorated the shore overwhelmed the whole class. On the front most were the teachers and the pussy cats that fought against the stronger monsters, on the back were the students who had come earlier than the class 1-A that functioned as the last line of defense if one of the monsters would pass through the heroes.

On the other side, ten fishy monsters were fighting against the heroes but even then they kept coming from the sea filling the sands with their soggy feet.

Feeling they were in a safe range from the monsters, Midoriya put Mineta down and went back to the chaotic battle between monsters and quirks that caused a lot of sparks to decorate the sky.

Holding back his strength, he punched a monster that almost hit one of the students and continued to do so and saved anyone that would potentially get injured.

But then again, because he held back his strength when attacking the monsters. All of the fallen monsters stood up and sprinted at him with the sole goal of killing him for disgracing them.

*Thud*

*Thud*

The monsters' rhythmical stomps caused a loud and strong vibration to spread through the shore, alerting the heroes and the students that the monsters seemed to be chasing someone.

Fortunately for Midoriya and his agile body, he easily evaded the attacks solely because the monsters seemed to be the type of heavy puncher that dragged a lot of strength in their punch.

*Midoriya! You're allowed to kill the monsters! They're not human!" Aizawa shouted, realizing that unless the monsters were killed they wouldn't stop attacking everything aside from the monsters themselves.

Even so, Midoriya still hesitated and held back his strength allowing the monsters' strong healing factor to kick in, and continued to stomp towards him without thinking that they would die.

Aizawa sighed seeing the hesitation but then again he couldn't do anything with it, knowing how much their education had taught them to apprehend and not kill unless it was a death or life situation.

On the other hand, he himself couldn't kill any of the monsters without the help of the bizarre creature that's the fourth cat; the brown muscle cat used sheer strength to snap the monster's neck.

Not far away from them was Mandalay who was distracting the monsters by taunting them while Pixie-Bob was somewhere unseen and controlled a bunch of golems to kill an unexpecting monster who got distracted by Mandalay.

The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

From the UA's teacher side, Midnight was having an easy time handling the approaching monsters just because of her quirk; Somnambulist which caused her body to exude a soothing aroma that could even cause the monsters to pass out.

But the same couldn't be said for Vlad King and the cowboy sniper who was shitting the shit outta themselves, preventing the monsters from passing through them and attacking their students.

With more and more monsters coming from the waters the previously balanced fights quickly became more chaotic as the heroes were being besieged by multiple monsters that kept on increasing faster than the rate they could kill them.

"Midnight! Can you spread your quirk even wider?" Vlad King shouted in desperation as he started to get dizzy because he had lost a lot of blood fighting the monsters.

"That's not possible, the wider the area the weaker the effect." Midnight maintained her quirk to be around 10 meters with her body as the center. If she even expanded the range by just half of a meter, the affected monsters would gain their control back

The situation had gone for the worse for the humans who were unable to keep up with the ever-increasing amount of monsters that were stronger than them.

If not for their quirk that could fend off the monsters brutes that only launch punches and kicks, they would be long dead and painted the sands with red color.

That was when suddenly the students who were known to have an offensive type quirk came forward to help the heroes to lessen the burden of being besieged. Especially the third-year students who had spent the years of their lives training to be a hero.

One of the students touched every monster he could and pressed his thumb downwards which was followed by numerous explosions on the part of the body that he touched.

But the results were small to none where all it could do was halt the monsters' movement, and it's just what the heroes had been looking for as they finally could put their focus on killing the monsters one by one instead of fending off the relentless attacks.

In the time that the monsters took to heal their blown-off body, the heroes had killed 90% percent of them and they easily killed the rest of the monsters.

Thankfully, the monsters stopped coming out from the sea, letting them take a breather until they realized that some of the monsters had gone into the forest chasing Midoriya.

"He has quite the stamina left." Kenjiki was bemused as he watched the boy who ran in desperation.

"Are we gonna just watch?" Kyoka asked, feeling quite awkward seeing a fellow student being chased with his life on the line.

"Yeah, he should be able to survive with that quirk of his." Kenjiki then ignored Midoriya and his escape action as he looked towards the water near the previous battle.

If his prediction was true, then Midoriya should be the one that Shigaraki had targeted with that Nomu attack before. It was a whimsical prediction from the fact that Shigaraki was at odds with All Might and the boy literally seemed to be too close to be a normal teacher and student. Though, he's a little unconvinced with the plain quirk such as super strength would entice that biggy boss like that

Down on Midoriya's side, he was continuing to flee from the rampaging monsters and occasionally launching a few punches to send back the monsters that had gotten too close.

"Shit shit shit, is there anything that I could do?" Midoriya, although having the strength to kill every one of the monsters with the price of one of his hands. He prevented himself from killing them as he looked for a solution that didn't involve killing the monsters.

But even after spending minutes thinking about anything. Midoriya couldn't think of a feasible solution to handle the monsters, though, the monsters themselves didn't care about his feelings and continued to swing around his hand and uprooted one of the trees and threw it.

As he was deep in his own mind, Midoriya was caught off guard by the tree that was thrown by the monster and got his body bashed against another tree that stopped his body from going any further.

"Finally we caught the land roach." The monsters laughed as they both stood in front of the limping boy.

Surrounded by the two monsters was Midoriya who wanted to gasp for air as he bled internally because the sheer impact had hurt his spines. Seeing that he was cornered with no other solution.

Midoriya clenched his right hand while groaning from the pain. The monsters laughed at him and mocked him with every kind of underwater profanity until they had enough of the unresponsive little guy.

But when one of them tried to pick up Midoriya, he belatedly noticed that his vision instantly became dark as his consciousness got blurry as time went by until he couldn't think of anything.

"I gotta go back?" Midoriya groaned in pain as both of his arms were broken with only his legs' bones left intact.

Midoriya passed the two torsoless bodies of the monsters and closed his eyes as he murmured something into his heart.

Some 'I'll save everyone, including monsters' bullshit I assume.
