Chapter 88 - Sect Meeting

CHAPPY 88 - SECT MEETING

--[--]...[--]--

“So you’ve come here through a rift? Care to describe its appearance in detail?” Xin Yincheon deepened her gaze.

Seemingly surprised about Kyoka’s explanation.

Because she explained in detail how she got here; entering a crack in the air before she found herself standing in the middle of the forest.

That’s not what made Xin Yincheon so surprised, and instead was the fact that she remembered how she got here.

As opposed to the thousands of records obtained from other Lost Ones.

No matter how strong they were, they couldn’t recall how they got here.

“Can you tell me what the world you came from is called?” Fairy Ru suddenly asked.

“Why do you ask that?” Xin Yincheon looked at her, finding the question a bit random.

“It’s Earth.” Kyoka answered the question without much thought.

From all of the Lost Ones they ever found and recruited into the Eternal Winter Palace, they noticed that they were from another world.

However, such revelation didn’t cause any strong reaction from them because everyone knew about the existence of another world to some extent.

It's just that they never step foot there.

“Earth?” Fairy Ru widened her eyes in shock, her breathing became rough.

Kyoka and Xin Yincheon noticed her drastic change in facial expression.

Which confused the two of them, each with different reasons from one to another.

“Do you know about a country called China?” Fairy Ru calmed herself down.

“Yes…” Kyoka started to realize something she had overlooked.

The fact that Fairy Ru knew about China meant she was not of this world.

“Are you a Lost Ones too?” Kyoka decided to ask, wanting to confirm her doubt.

“Yes.” Fairy Ru nodded, now filled with relief and happiness.

Hundreds of years had passed ever since Fairy Ru arrived in this world as a Lost Ones, at first confused and ecstatic knowing that cultivation and the supernatural were real.

Although it was real in another world, and not on Earth.

“I didn’t expect you to be one.” Kyoka looked at her, surprised. “I didn’t expect to see a fellow Lost Ones this fast, from the same world at that.”

Xin Yincheon who was watching from the side was too perplexed watching this unfold.

Unable to comprehend how low was the chance for Kyoka and Fairy Ru to meet.

“Then I’ll get Little Ru to take care of you.” Xin Yincheon decided in the blink of an eye since she had recorded whatever she needed.

“Thank you, Hall Leader.” Fairy Ru thanked her and bowed down, before bidding farewell.

Now, getting a new friend she didn’t expect but does actually want.

Fairy Ru flew the both of them to her house, wanting to ask more about Earth.

As she started to forget things about her original world, and by extension, her parents and family.

“I’m sorry, but. Although I’m from Earth, I don’t really know much about China, or maybe the world.” Kyoka apologized, unable to answer most questions Fairy Ru had asked.

This story is posted elsewhere by the author. Help them out by reading the authentic version.

“Is that so?” Fairy Ru lowered her head, sighed, disappointed. “Then is there anything you can tell me about Earth?”

“Nothing much is happening other than the war between Heroes and Villains.” Kyoka tried to recall anything other than the war.

Rather than going off like a normal person, to Fairy Ru who was attentively listening to Kyoka.

That statement of hers was baffling, to say the least.

Since the last time she ever stood on Earth, there’s no such thing as Heroes and Villains.

But then again, she had been gone for nearly a hundred years.

Who knows what might happen to the world in that period?

“Can you tell me more about these Heroes and Villains?” Fairy Ru inquired, wanting to know more about the topic.

“Sure thing.” Kyoka tilted her head in confusion but still explained to her.

The more that Fairy Ru listened, the more shocked she got.

From the fact that humanity awakened a special ability called quirks and that from there born Heroes and Villains.

Signaling the start of the war between the two factions.

At first, Fairy Ru never thought much of it, thinking that no matter how long she had gone, there shouldn’t be major changes in the world.

But she couldn’t be more wrong, because Earth seemingly became so foreign with all of its additions.

“Then are your ears some sort of quirk?” Fairy Ru glanced at Kyoka’s long earlobes.

Thinking that they were racial features from races she didn’t know.

“Yes.” Kyoka smiled, manipulating her earlobes to swirl around. “Other than that, I can control sound.”

Kyoka then demonstrated her ability by jamming one of her ear jacks into the floor and shook the floor.

“Is that the only ability you have?” Fairy Ru narrowed her eyes, feeling that quirks might be less impressive than she first thought.

“Yeah, my quirk is kind of niche.” Kyoka chuckled in embarrassment. “Though, I also can hear things from kilometers away.”

“I can do that too.” Fairy Ru muttered in her breath, not wanting to hurt Kyoka’s feelings.

“Heard that.” Kyoka pouted.

Fairy Ru realized that she had done something bad and immediately went to reassure Kyoka.

Unfortunately for her, nothing was able to appease Kyoka

Desperate, she went as far as offering her cultivation techniques to Kyoka.

“Can you tell me more about this cultivation?” Kyoka instantly stopped pouting once she found something interesting.

“It’s impossible to explain it directly, but you can think of it as absorbing worldly energy and using it to purify your body and mind until you reach enlightenment.” Fairy Ru explained as simple as possible.

“Sounds boring.” Kyoka instantly became uninterested. “Also, I don’t know your name yet, I’m Kyoka Jiro.”

It was inevitable for Kyoka to think that way since the average cultivator spent most of their time sitting with their eyes closed for a prolonged time.

“Me? I’m Ru Xin.” Ru Xin introduced herself.

The conversation between them continued for a bit, although the topic was just some useless topic about Earth.

It went smoothly until a voice interrupted them.

“Little Ru, go to the Ice Summit and attend the meeting in my stead.” A voice came from nowhere.

“A meeting? Can you tell me what’s meeting is about, master?” Ru Xin was taken aback.

Meeting was hardly ever a thing in the sect since there hadn’t been something worthy of their time.

“That I don’t know, but it seemed to be important.” Ru Xin’s master spoke.

“Yes, I will attend the meeting.” Ru Xin bowed to the air, before turning her body towards Kyoka. “Can you wait for me here? Don’t worry, I’ll be back shortly.”

“Hmm? You got a friend over?” Ru Xin’s master was seemingly flustered seeing Kyoka.

Ever since she took Ru Xin under her wings over hundreds of years ago, her disciple never got close to anyone.

Much less bringing someone into her house.

“Yes, master.” Ru Xin nodded.

“You can bring her over to the Ice Summit if you want to.” Ru Xin’s master blurted out.

Wanting to tell the whole sect that her disciple had gained a friend.

Rendering the title ‘Lone Fairy’ unusable.

“Are you sure, master? Won’t it annoy other elders?” Ru Xin, not knowing what her master was thinking, obviously felt she shouldn’t do that.

“Don’t worry, just tell them that I told you to bring her.” Ru Xin’s master left that sentence behind before she left the two of them be.

Given no chance to say otherwise, Ru Xin looked at Kyoka who was shrugging.

“Wear this and let’s go.” Ru Xin gave Kyoka her old sets of clothes when she was still young.

“Why do you have this ready to go?” Kyoka looked at the clothes, suspicious as to why Ru Xin had something that fit her perfectly.

“It was given by my master, so I can’t throw them out.” Ru Xin replied, urging Kyoka to change her clothes.
