"Son, did I just hear you say CIA?" While loading some luggage into the vehicle, his father turned around and enquired. Actually, all this time their parents were not very well versed in English and over the past few months Robin had consumed a lot of books and tomes from Skyrim, Baldur's Gate and other games his intelligence had gone up by quite a notch. In fact, Robin now could now speak in all languages in every accent possible, if he wanted he could go through medical books and be a doctor in record time possible and could do feats in intelligence never before seen in this era.
But of course, Robin was too lazy to do that and he had other things in his plate rather than gaining fame with just by his intelligence. So when Robin spoke with David on the phone, his father wasn't able to properly catch his American accent but he did hear the word CIA. Although he wasn't a big Hollywood aficionado, he did understand what the CIA was.
So some alarm bells did ring on the mind of Robin's father.
"No dad. You misheard. I was referring to another topic. I had been discussing the upcoming new endeavor." Despite his intellect, Robin was unable to exercise basic situational awareness and failed to slip away from the family when the call came in. Hearing his falsehoods, Cathrin rolled her eyes. Even though she completely comprehended Robin's words, she was slightly alarmed by the way Robin was speaking on the phone.
Cathrin was terrified and worried that her boyfriend might be a malicious spy when she first learned that he was engaged in CIA-related activities. The CIA was rarely depicted favorably in Hollywood films over the years.
So her perspective was twisted. But as she learned more about Robin over time, understood him better, and peered into his world, she came to believe that he was just another everyday person trying to do what was right for society. So even though the deal with the CIA was a serious red flag in the relationship, she got over it soon.
She simply had a different kind of red flag than most people do in relationships when it comes to mindset. Robin had also always been kind to her.
"Are you sure son?" Robin's father had creased eyebrows when he asked that. He thought the conversation from Robin was quite intense.
"Yes. Dad, don't fret. How can I talk with the CIA. Hahaha..." Robin gave his dad reassurance. After closely examining Robin, Robin's father turned to face Cathrin.
"Look after him. He isn't as smart as he believes himself to be." After saying those words to Cathrin, Robin's father stepped into the vehicle. His mother was perfectly normal and said goodbye as she took her place in the car because his mother was unaware of what they were talking about.
The contented newly retired pair accelerated off the narrow dirt road at that moment. With relief, Robin exhaled. He was on the verge of having his father question him. He still felt a tinge of dread when he was about to face his father after all these years.
"That was close." Robin said.
"You need to be careful where you speak." stated Cathrin. Her words meant that she was already supporting whatever Robin was doing.

Meanwhile, David threw away his phone after the talk with Robin. He was typically quite calm, but in situations like these, his rage manifested itself by throwing anything he could get his hands on.
"How dare he?"
He was on the verge of ordering this guy's assassination. But after a short while, he began to gradually settle down. They had made three unsuccessful attempts to touch him. Even though it wasn't a skilled strike, it still demonstrated his ability. Robin had responded twice, and he had done so in the most legal manner imaginable. He uncovered documents that not even they were aware existed.

It indicated that he had a good grip on them. Their family felt somewhat vulnerable for the first time as a result of this frightening situation. When he could have halted, he regretted letting his daughter have her way with Robin.

By evening, Cathrin had also departed the wedding venue along with everyone else. She had a wonderful holiday, but it was time for her to go. She did not return to Malaysia with Robin or the others. His presence was required for some tasks at his investment companies. Additionally, he was about to fly to America. He had to be present when the trials began in the courthouse in a few days.
Although Cathrin was a little sad, she was aware that he had work to do and that he had promised to return shortly. Robin's party departed for Amsterdam the following day. His house appeared somewhat delipidated because he hadn't been there in a while. But very quickly, with the aid of Robin's wizardry, everything returned to its original state.
Magic really had its moments.
Upon returning home, Sigret called Henry Liang, the person in charge of the data compression business, and sent him more technology related to controlled AI. ChatGPT and other AIs made by huge tech companies were the rage now but Sigret and JARVIS felt like they were toddlers and were quite unregulated.
Of course whatever knowledge they would share about AI could never reach their level in their lifetime. JARVIS and Sigret would make sure of it. Henry was initially frightened as he read through the codes he had just received from his secret buddy, but soon he understood what they meant.
He was very sceptical about what it was, but he got the gist of it. He convened the board meeting right away. Their business would shortly get involved in the newest trend, so they needed to be cautious in their movements.
Few days after passing in Amsterdam it was soon the trial date for Jenny Cox and Toni Johnson. And he had no chance of missing that. Sigret had got him a seat inside the trial room somehow so he just needed to show up.
Washington would be the location of the hearing. Buckley and Frayer were waiting for Robin when he and his party landed.
"Welcome back, boss." Frayer said, eventually admitting that he was in charge. What Robin had done had actually supported Frayer a lot and the two the families had contacted him with the hope that Robin could take back the case or at use his connections to take back some of the evidences.
Of course, they asked Frayer and very subtly and wasn't very aggressive about it. No matter what, those two families still had their own pride. In reality, it was the family leaders who got in touch with Frayer, not Jenny and Toni's parents, who were enraged and only wanted to mutilate Robin.
"How is business going overall?" Robin enquired.
"Great. The clinical trials would begin the following week. The families had been trying to stop the medicines to enter the US market but after what you did, the roadblocks had just vanished into thin air."
Robin nodded his head. He was prepared for it.
"Did you catch Diana and that doctor?" Suddenly, Robin inquired. The CIA agents in the Labcorp were still fresh in his mind.
"Yes, they are now in the Labcorp. Since you didn't give us any instructions we have kept them under the basement and under heavy guards. But Sir, we can't keep them for long because their family had already filed for missing report and I am sure CIA knows it by now."
Robin simply grinned at it. He was already aware of the slight hysteria within the CIA. Though Sigret had come back after few days of snooping in CIA, she had an android clone of hers to replace her in the office. Over the past few months after dealing with North Korea, she had been assembling various parts to make two clones of herself.
As a result, JARVIS and Sigret joined forces with the Brotherhood and created two Sigret clones. One would be physically present and constantly watching over North Korea. And others would initially be working for the CIA.
The clone had already said that the CIA was actively trying to find the missing agents and they probably knew what happened to them. They simply had no idea how to approach Robin about this.
"You don't need to worry. After the trial I will go and personally meet them."
"Okay sir."
By that time the car rolled over and they were on their way to the courtroom. Robin preferred to head directly to the courtroom rather than waste time in a bad part of Washington.
The parents and family heads of the two families were present when Robin and his party entered the courtroom.
Cox and Johnson.
The moment their parents saw Robin coming up the staircase in the court, they took notice of his group and with no hesitation and large strides bot of them approached him.
