205. I expected to kill more

Today, one of the space stations attached to a space elevator was aglow, adorned like a celestial Christmas tree. Blinking and ornate lights adorned the exterior, making spacewalks a breeze, arranged with remarkable ease. In bold letters, the sign read:

"Welcome, Heroes of Humanity."

World leaders sought to stay informed about Robin and their expedition. They had learned of their triumph in the war and their newfound foothold in the galaxy. While no further details were conveyed, it was enough to ignite excitement.

They understood the world was evolving swiftly, and they must keep pace, lest they be left behind in the dust. The main carrier ship and other vessels docked gradually at some of the airlocks. The Motherships refrained from landing, heading directly to Mars to confer with their human counterparts at the base station.

As Robin and his comrades, masks adorned, stepped out, a resounding cheer echoed throughout the surroundings. Passing through the airlock, they entered a sanctuary of memory and honor. There weren't many soldiers with Robin and the others, as most had returned to Mars, but some soldiers and Guardians had joined them.

As soon as he emerged, a mighty cheer erupted from the throng, followed by a hushed reverence for the newcomers.

"Welcome... Congratulations on your victory," one of the world leaders stepped forward, bowing in respect. Some leaders saluted, while others made hand gestures signifying respect and honor for the soldiers.

"Thank you," Robin replied from behind his mask.

There were no close family members of the soldiers present, making the encounter somewhat awkward. Nevertheless, the hosts were ablaze with adrenaline, and the soldiers were welcomed with grandeur. Robin also noticed a notably higher presence of women in the welcoming celebration compared to men. He quickly surmised the reason for this arrangement.

They aimed to establish strong ties between the soldiers and Earth, not necessarily for espionage, but to foster relations between Terrans and Earthlings. Although the Terrans were safeguarding humanity, the world leaders couldn't shake the disconcerting feeling of imbalance.

This was why they sought to repay them in any way they could. They feared that, one day, the Terrans might assert dominance over humans, and what was truly unsettling was that they lacked the power to protest against it.

After Robin and his companions emerged, it was time for the actual humans to encounter aliens. Lumis stepped out of the airlock, and the cameras promptly adjusted their focus to Lumis and his entourage of attendants and advisors. There was an audible gasp when Lumis emerged unbound, free from any preconceived notions held by the soldiers, and exuded an air of freedom.

The onlookers were apprehensive at the sight of Lumis and his lookalikes. They had seen the corpses during the battle in the solar system and didn't require keen insight to recognize that Lumis hailed from the same civilization.

"You should go and converse with this individual. He is the monarch of the nation we waged war against. Treat them with courtesy and discuss the future. Humanity will need their guidance in the coming century. Lumis, you can converse with these world leaders here. Convey what is necessary and nothing more," Robin declared, his words resonating with everyone, including the cameramen.

The live broadcast was transmitted to the entire world, ensuring that people were informed as well. Thus the people heard what Robin had said and this made everyone confused but nobody dared to say anything against them while the World Leaders saw this as a chance to know about the universe and understand what had gone down.

Lumis nodded and he understood what Robin had said. From the mask and his friends, Lumis could already understand that Robin was a person who wanted his identity not to be known by the public, at least not for the time being. Though after the family takes their rightful position in their rightful place in the Luminary Collective.

But for now it was a secret.

Robin left with his friends and of course none dared to follow him. Sigret and JARVIS also made sure that they weren't followed and soon they were back to Pyongyang to their home along with his friends. Before arriving, Robin had asked for all the family members to meet at Pyongyang as it was time they knew that he was the person behind the scenes.

He would probably leave a bad impression on some of the members of the family since his hands were red with blood but he hoped they would look past it and be amicable or it would definitely be awkward.

Soon they were reached the home where everyone seemed to be waiting for them. They had chosen the Earth palace as their meeting ground. Sigret had asked for everyone of the family to be in a huge hall together and wait for them. Of course they were a bit surprised of how so many people were in the same hall. But they were only asked to wait before the explanation would arrive.

As soon as Robin entered through the huge hall, his parents almost ran upto him and hugged him. After a small hug from mother, his father looked at him and said.

"It's time you come clean. I know that something was going on since you left for Europe so you better tell the truth now."

"You knew that something was wrong from the start?" Robin was surprised and asked.

"Not exactly. But I knew something was off and now that your arrival and departure lines up with the spaceships timeline so now come clean about your relations with the Premier of North Korea. We are now even in the Earth Palace." His father said.

His others friends and family members also talked and asked what was going on.

"Excuse me everyone." Robin made his voice loud so that everyone. This caught the attention of everyone present. Some were a little awkward and hesitant because this was place where some of the world leaders were killed and thus it made them fear for their life but they also knew that it was because of Premier of North Korea that the humanity had survived.

Though they were grateful to the Premier, they were still a bit scared of this high end and powerful place. Robin's words made them stop their whispers and look at him as he was main protagonist of today as it was him who had invited them.

"I know that many of your are confused, a little happy but a lot more fear since this is the Earth Palace. Supposedly this is the place where the most powerful person in the planet resides and that person had even went on to wage war against the aliens to safeguard humanity." Robin said. This was agreed by everyone present.

"Well to make things short, I am the that Supreme Leader of North Korea." Everyone in the room including his parents had almost all their jaws drop, followed by a gasp and some even startedd laughing, which included his father.

"Good joke.. Now tell us why are we all here." His father said. Listening to his father, Robin just sighed and proceeded to make a mask out of thin air in front of his face and within seconds, everyone got to see Robin the way the people looked at him in the television and videos.

They were dumbstruck. This was not what they expected.

"What the hell is going on?" Robin's faither was shaking when he asked that. He wasn't sure if it was anger, happiness, sadness or other emotions. Everyone around felt like a mix of all emotions had washed through their mind and body and didn't know how to react

"Sorry dad. I had to come clean for various reasons. Yes, I am the Supreme Leader of this country and it was me who had brought so much changes in this world. I won't go through the process of how I was able to as it is kind of complicated but we are here. My friends here know of this and you can ask them to know more about me. I am sorry that I have kept you all in the dark but I know that most of you wouldn't have supported me but I needed to bring things under control if humanity needed to take that leap and make sure that divide between people wasn't too much." Robin said.

"It may sound weird but it is because of me that the alien invasion started and me bringing the world to a brand new era played a big part. I am sorry for everything." Robin stopped with those weirds. There was a pin drop silence and many people didn't know how to react. His father was the first one to break the silence.

"Was it you who killed some of the world leaders?"

"Yes." Robin looked straight at the eyes of his father and replied. He didn't want to lie in this case and spin narratives.

"Good." His father replied. This made many of the people flinch and even made Robin a bit surprised.

"If you have killed them then there must be reasons to do so. I am surprised that you didn't kill more world leaders with the power that you hold now." His father said.
