Although this was an act of "God," he felt like Robin was somehow accountable because it felt like Robin was whispering those words in his ear. He had no idea why he felt that way, and it was completely absurd. He was certain that if he mentioned this to his peers, they would either make fun of him or refer him to a psychiatrist the very next second.
He made the decision to suppress those ideas with himself. Not speaking out loud didn't mean that he would let go of his ridiculous suspicions. He had already asked for the parking footage and while he was in the morgue and he received the few minutes of footage when the lightning struck.
He was once more overcome with sorrow as he saw losing his wife and kid on the video as he saw the lightning strike down from the sky. But after that, he hardened his heart and watched other videos, particularly the one that featured Robin's vehicle. There was nothing remarkable at first. But when the lightning struck, David's attention was drawn to a specific observation.
Every vehicle in the parking lot had its windows broken by the lightning's powerful impact, and some of the cars' bodies were also damaged by the extra loud noise, but Robin's car was undamaged. The windows remained perfect and David could make out very vaguely that even the debris didn't fall on the body of the car.
This seemingly insignificant occurrence was quite alarming because it wasn't supposed to be occurring. Later Robin's car rolled away without an ounce of concern for what went down. Any normal person would have gotten out of the car to investigate what might have happened, regardless of whether they were the enemy, but Robin and his friends didn't care to do so. They lacked any curiosity.
This went against human nature.
The more David viewed the videos from various perspectives, the more certain he became that Robin was to blame for his family's demise. But he was aware that this would never be admitted in court. This was utterly absurd. Even though the mere thought of it made his own brain melt, he was nonetheless heartily persuaded that it wasn't true.
"It doesn't matter what you are Robin Kashyap. Since you came after my family, I will go after yours. We will see who stands last." David made a self-promise. Since he was by himself in the mortuary, he spoke those words aloud, never imagining for a second that his own phone was a spy there and had carefully listened to David's words.

After the court learned of the tragic deaths of Evelynn and Helena, the case procedures were delayed for a few days. Since the first imports from Malaysia would arrive at the Port of Oakland, Robin wasn't troubled by it and was now in San Francisco.
He was also there for another reason. Diana's partner and the doctor were also transported to San Francisco. It was only supposed to be the two of them, but the partner was a spy as well. an agent working for the EU.
Similar to the CIA, the European Union also employed spies to spy on important corporations, including those in the United States. Naturally, Diana's boyfriend was also brought, or should we say kidnapped, from another part of the nation.
Right now they were in the secure basement with Robin in the room where nobody was allowed to come or peek into, the three were present while being tied. The boyfriend looked terrified and didn't seem to know why he was with Diana and this other man here.
"Diana, what's happening? We are where? Who are these people?"

"Andrew everything will be fine. They only want something from me. Cooperate well and they will leave you alone." Diana said to her boyfriend while looking at Robin. She knew that they had been caught and this was corporate espionage. She sensed that the man who acquired the majority of the company's shares and altered the company's course wasn't that simple to deal with, despite the fact that they had rights and would be punished by the law if they broke them.
"You know I was surprised how CIA did their work. They even went to great efforts to keep your files off of digital media and assigned to paperwork because of all the secrecy. This is quite thoughtful of the CIA. I am impressed." While seated on the other side of the table, Robin spoke.
The three were seated in a row, their hands, feet, and even backs were bound to the steel chair they were perched on. None of them could use their expertise in their fields to free themselves.
"CIA?" When he heard that, Diana's beau Andrew squinted his eyes. He immediately began to consider what he meant, and he had a dim suspicion that his partner might not be the typical intern he had assumed.
"What do you want? We know what we have done but you can't hold us like this. Your actions will only help our cause and swiftly secure our release." Diana was quiet while the doctor spoke.
"You're correct. To keep you against your will is against the law. But you forget that we are now in partnership with the CIA and I am sure that if we kill you, they won't say a word against it." Robin said with a grin, which of course gave the three chills.
"You want to kill us?" The physician said.
"No. Despite the fact that I may be a heartless person, I don't want to harm anyone. You most likely would have been executed by hanging if it had been medieval times. But since those days, civilization has advanced significantly. You are just a pawn in the bigger game and killing the pawns are just signs of weak individuals..."
Hearing that, Diana, Andrew, and the doctor sighed with relief, but the subsequent comments once more filled them with dread.
"..but even the pawns are important in the story so I just can't leave you free. Can I?"
"You intend to torment us, then?" Diana enquired.
"No... No... That is too barbaric. I want you three to spy for me." said Robin.
The three tensed up. They anticipated that Robin would torment them, so what was this double-crossing suggestion? Was he insane?
"Three of us? He is not a spy. He is just my boyfriend. Please leave him alone. Please.. I am begging you.." Diana said while her eyes were filled with sadness. She felt awful for her boyfriend, who had unintentionally gotten entangled. They could bargain now that Robin had given them an opportunity, but she did not want Andrew to take part in it.
"Oh, my sweet summer child. You don't really know who he is, do you? You believe that I only abducted this man to intimidate you? Think again." said Robin. Diana was surprised by this and turned to face Andrew. She immediately noticed the minuscule flinch Andrew's irises had just made.
"You..."
"Your partner works as a spy for the EU. He doesn't have the same level of communication skills as your CIA, but I suppose two individuals from the same world were drawn to one another and ended up together."
"What?" Diana was staring skeptically at her adored boyfriend with her eyes wide open. She didn't immediately believe Robin, but she had the impression that her partner might not be who she thought he was. Naturally, Andrew exploded right away and denied being a spy, but Robin didn't even stop to listen to him.
The three were then freed from their ties when Robin pulled out his wand and waved it. Andrew, who had been shouting that he wasn't an agent, suddenly stopped talking. Unbelievably the ropes came out of their own even though they had been trying to do some multiple times.
And that too simultaneously for everyone. They didn't actually interpret the fancy stick on the hand of Robin as anything important. Andrew seeing his hands and feet were untied lunged at Robin from the other side of the table. He rushed forward with his hand ready to strike Robin in the head, but before he could even get there, he became stuck on something.
Something that was not apparent. More specifically, he was hit in the air.
Robin had waved the wand just when Andrew lunged at him. When they witnessed this, Diana and the doctor's mouths were hanging agape. This was unprecedented. What in the world was happening?
"Who.. Who are you.... No.. What are you?" The doctor was forced to inquire.
"You will have the answers soon." As he rose from his position, Robin said. With that the floating Andrew fell face first on the table with a bang.
