132. From 2070 to 2205

October 5, 2023

Many people had already traveled to North Korea at this point out of pure curiosity. The number of visitors did decline slightly as North Korea began encroaching on other nations out of fear, but some people were unaffected and kept coming to discover what the country was all about.

Since the gamers pointed out the conspiracy theory abut the Novus and Nod unites, many others who had come to the country also said that the flying cars, the buildings, the libraries, the new education system was based on another game called Anno.

This blew the minds of the people but after researching, the people came to realize that this was also true. The fact that North Korea has the technology to turn the inconceivable into a reality has allowed for the development of a very unique educational system compared to that of other nations.

Though the model was fairly new, the people of Anno came up with a unique idea to educate and make the people of North Korea learned men and women. Every hamlet, town, and city would have libraries constructed in them according to the population, and there were schools and kindergartens established all over the country.

Both boys and girls would be free to work or continue their education after graduation. The studies were free for all to begin with so these young boys and girls could come to the libraries to attend classes. Of course, it was impossible for tiny towns and villages to have competent university teachers. Although this was implausible, they possessed the necessary infrastructure to handle it.

There would be holographic technology in the libraries' rooms. The lecturers were able to lecture the students on their courses as a result. Distance learning simply changed from being 2D to 3D, and this also applied to practicals too.

Of course, there was also an issue with this. With holographic and nearly VR technology, it would be challenging and nearly impossible for anyone who aspired to be doctors or chemical engineers to complete all practicals. Once these students passed the preliminary exams and enrolled in big libraries with all the necessary amenities and practical instruction, the nation would pay for their studies.

This was the most effective method of spreading knowledge in the Anno universe as well. The only difference in this situation is that the library's knowledge base simply expanded with the aid of Novus technology, which was used to create a flow network by which they effectively transformed themselves into electrical signals between towers, as well as some Nod technology.

Their combined knowledge base was very large. Along with this, North Korea's hospitals underwent a complete transformation. Robin had pulled out advanced medical pods that could cure any ailment and restore health from the video games Zero Escape and Star Citizen, respectively.

Therefore, medical technology was another factor that drew some persons with fatal illnesses, such as cancer or other similar ailments.

Finally, under pressure from the media and citizen protests on the streets of the USA, the country's president made the decision to have a press conference and respond to questions from the public. The press conference was significant because it was open to journalists from all around the world and because he promised that his responses would apply not just to their own nation but also to those of other nations that shared the same issue.

The conference was held outside because it was held on the White House lawn. People were sitting, and there were quite a few journalists.

"Welcome to the White House. I hope your day is going well. If you have any questions for me, please ask them, and I'll do my best to respond." stated the President. Almost all of the reporters' hands shot up at once. The reporter questioned as the President pointed to one.

Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

"Mr. President, why is North Korea attacking and invading different countries. Iran, Sudan, and Brunei had all essentially been invaded. Why are the other nations keeping quiet about it?"

The President had already entered the podium with a large screen, and in response, he pulled his tab from the side that was connected to the screen. Then a series of images and videos appeared on the screen.

These videos and pictures included the leaders of the three nations. Starting from murder, manipulating the laws of the state, rape by some of lesser leaders and a number of other crimes.

"During the meeting which was held on 31st September in Pyongyang, all of the countries decided to crack down on drugs, human trafficking, illegal murder and other horrible crimes. The three global leaders voluntarily surrendered and were taken into custody after these films and supporting materials were displayed to the Assembly. The nation of North Korea has made the decision to employ its cutting-edge innovations and technology to reshape the nations in order to impose a new order and guarantee proper peace. Control will be returned to the citizens of these nations once there is lasting peace in them. You must have thought this invasion was quite benign because all the other nations, including the USA, supported it. Only those who were at fault were detained. In support of each such arrest, North Korea has even offered sufficient evidence.

"How can we accept their assertions. a nation with a record of violating human rights and engaging in people and rug trafficking?" – another journalist.

"You must have seen the country, I suppose. It is open to all now. There is no denying that there has been a dramatic change in the country's political leadership, and that the new ruler is a kind and benevolent person. North Korea is now open to be scrutinized by international agencies and find out faults." The President.

"Then Mr. President, has North Korea has revealed of why their technology has so much advancement as compared to other countries?" - a journalist.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I can respond to that since we don't really know, but it's still a very happy circumstance. The North Korean government has previously committed to sharing its technology advances with other countries. The med pods of theirs would soon be distributed to many countries which would make any terminal or bad disease not harmful for humans anymore. Such collaboration would only benefit improving human society."

"Do you support North Korea's flagrant contempt for other nations' freedom and violations of their sovereignty, Mr. President?"

"As I've already stated, every country in the summit vowed and decided to deal with the bad apples, and the only way this could be done was with effective coordination. It also applies to the USA. The individuals that North Korea apprehended and deported were in fact criminals who had done nothing but harm to society. Speaking of rotten apples, here are some of the names of those who participated in corruption in the nation." The president spoke, and the screen quickly displayed some well-known names.

Then he discussed how these men had taken advantage of the Americans and how the police had brought them to justice. He added that the administration would deal harshly with rape, pedophilia, and other major offenses. The reporters were shocked by this. They didn't anticipate that the nation as a whole would suddenly take the widespread crimes in the society seriously. Even more, the President promised that special courts would be established solely for convicting these people quickly so that justice would be done.

"Mr. President, there is sufficient proof that North Korea's technology was based on games that game developers had created. What are your thoughts about that?"

This question made the President a little tongue tied because he didn't know what the reporter was talking about. It was only a controversial theory on the social media and he was too busy and too anxious these days to even care about it.

"Uhh. Maybe the scientists of North Korea had been led by someone who loves games or something of that sort.. hahaha.. Sincerely, I don't know. It's the way they look. Does it really matter how something looks if it benefits humanity?" – The President. That was accurate. Even if it looked like games, did it really matter? Of course, this would fuel online rumors and controversies, and that would be the end of it.

The President was asked more questions and even ones in space travel to which the President spoke as he could and answered questions. In the meantime, something else entirely was occurring in space.

Now, with a laptop in his grasp, Robin was floating through space.

"The people need to make games that could work on holographic so that I don't need to bring my laptop everywhere." The Origin 890 Jump was nearby. It wasn't just him. Sigret was floating alongside him without any equipment. She didn't need one anyways. He had opened a game.

Anno 2205.

Another version of Anno game based on year 2205.

And at this particular moment Robin had opened the part where there was a small space station.
