And under the crystal sat a man. Well, a man would be an overstatement here because for sure as hell Robin couldn't recognize if the person was a male or a female. It was because this person looked like someone a combination of a humanoid and an octopus.
Yes, you heard it right. An octopus over a man. Not like the one the fishmen Hachi was in the anime One Piece, but an actual octopus head over a torso and with hands coming out of the heads. Literally.
And somehow, this person didn't look ugly and was quite elegant.
"Somewhere before I read an article that Octopus might come from space, well now we have a thesis to present." Sauvik chuckled.
"I am going to present the thesis and grab a nobel prize for sure." Robin laughed.
"This species are known as Kilipai." Lumis whispered behind and have a heads up. They looked around a bit and then finally came to the center.
"Greetings, traveler. I am Tondi. Welcome to the Galactic Emporium Nexus. How may I assist you today?" Tondi said. He had already met with Coronia, the earlier evening and knew what had gone down. Since they both were rare foreigners in a far off land they have friendly relations. Coronia only said that they belonged to S class galaxy and he needed to be polite.
Her banking ethics dictate that she should never reveal personal information to others and thus she could only speak about the class and not other personal information. This law was very strict and she followed it very minutely. Especially when a citizen of an S class galaxy had arrived. It was Robin who had come forward and had a small chunk of rock in his hand.
"Hi there! These are my friends. I've come across something quite unique and rare in my travels. Something I believe no one in this universe has seen before." Robin said. "This, my friend, is Vibranium. It's a brand new metal, completely unheard of in this universe. I come from a planet called Earth, and it's been discovered there recently. It's known for its incredible strength and energy-absorbing properties."
"Vibranium? That's an odd name. Can I check it?" Tondi asked.
"Of course." Robin replied. Though Coronia didn't speak much, he already knew who these people were and he needed to be careful in his words. And again he was also a bit gleeful that these people who had arrived from S class galaxy was very polite ad humble.
He had never seen an S class citizen in his life, and thought maybe this humbleness made them so great.
With a graceful motion, the shopkeeper extended one of his octopus sucking arms, gently taking the rock from Robin's hands. The shopkeeper held the Vibranium under the ethereal glow of the shop's interior, examining it with a mixture of reverence and fascination.
The shopkeeper then activated a sophisticated scanner nearby. It emitted a soft hum as it interacted with the Vibranium, its holographic interface projecting intricate diagrams and patterns in the air.
Scanning in progress.
As the scanner worked its magic, it began to unveil the metal's extraordinary attributes, drawing information from the collective knowledge of the universe
'A metal of unparalleled strength and durability, able to absorb and store kinetic energy. It can also be used to create advanced weaponry and technological innovations. Its unique properties might make it highly sought after for various applications, ranging from energy manipulation to medical breakthroughs.'
Those words Robin and others could hear and understand.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
"The first time this metal has graced the universe.. This is unbelievable. This Vibranium is indeed a marvel, defying the boundaries of known materials." The shopkeeper said. "The S class citizen really have access to things that we can't even imagine. Mr. Kashyap are you sure you want to provide this metal for the disposal of the universe?"
"Yes." Robin replied with a smile that definitely had pride.
"How much do you set the price for this?" The shopkeeper asked.
"10,000 credits for 1 gram of Vibranium." Robin thought of the price Vibranium had in marvel world and since the metal wasn't available in the universe it was better to keep it exclusive and high.
"Deal!" The shopkeeper almost hopped up on the offer before Robin could even speak more or negotiate more.
"Did I just give up on a very good deal? Ah well whatever.. There are better things to sell and will get myself a manager." Robin thought.
Lumis was dumbfounded by the price. The price of travelling to galaxies was just covered with one gram of this material and these people didn't even have an IGID few hours and would be millionaires and that too in galactic credits.
Soon this guy's net worth would be bigger than the royal family. Now he was more inclined to hold the thigh of this person.
"How much quantity can we expect?" The shopkeeper asked.
"How do you know that I have quantities of it?"
"You gave us a small gram of it, I am sure that is not all you have." The shopkeeper smirked.
"Hahaha. You are really good with the purchase and sales, aren't you?" Robin asked.
"That is my job, Mr. Kashyap." The shopkeeper said.
"We will send you the first consignment in a few days. But I will keep this straight and clear, if there is an attack in the consignment now and in the future the Galactic Emporium Nexus will be responsible for it." Robin said. Since he was getting the short end of the deal, it was better to make the deal better with other conditions.
The shopkeeper's pink eye twitched and thought for a second. He clicked on the hologram for a few more seconds before printing out a paper. Paper! Apparently that thing was still in circulation.
Robin had seen some similarities between their customs and this high technology world. It made him really wonder about what was up with the Earthlings. There was definitely something fishy here.
This was a contract that was valid for 10 time units and would be extended and revised after it expires. Robin gave the file to Sigret for her to check and see if there were any loopholes.
After a quick turning of pages, she nodded. There was no compulsion for the quantity nor the number of times the consignment needed to be sent. In simple terms it was sell and get the money. The money wouldn't be transferred until the shop got its hands on the product and did the check.
This was a acceptable contract since both of the parties didn't know each other and though their background was clean, Robin had just made a new IGID so even if he had a S class citizenship, he was a referred one to begin with so it was better to proceed cautiously.
And for Robin too this was fine. He didn't need huge amount of money to begin with. Robin didn't think much and brought out a huge chunk Vibranium from his pocket.
The eyes of shopkeeper shone when he saw Robin taking a huge chunk just out from his pocket. Though he was surprised of how he could bypass of he how he able to conjure bypassing the space constraints but then again, he as being told that Mr. Robin Kashyap here was a High Elder.
He was just happy to see a huge chunk of Vibranium. He was going to put this on the shelf for a lot more money than 10,000 credits and he would be rich enough to buy himself all the things that he wanted for a long time and also help his family.
The shopkeeper put the chunk of rock on the weighing and scanning machine.
[
Scanning
Found 1.2 kgs of new product named Vibranium.
98% purity.

The pink eyes of the shopkeeper shone as he read the details. The server had already taken the details of Vibranium and knew how to differentiate between Vibranium and other materials.
The shopkeeper didn't even flinch when he transferred 12 million credits to the IGID of Robin. The holographic IGID was already connected to the bank account of his so the transfer had shown up on his account.
"Are there more of these pieces?" the shopkeeper asked.
"Not yet." Robin checked his account and smiled. He just went from rags to riches within a few seconds. Finally he could go and buy some shit here. The things which were very much required.
Especially things to upgrade Sigret and others. Though the Novus was there but the technology wasn't the sane as the ones in the universe. They would need to be connected for the rest of the universe and needed protection from malware and hacking from the universe.
So they needed knowledge and parts to make Sigret better and other androids, or at least that could connect to the universe. He had heard about this VR world of the universe which could connect to distant people and live another kind of world. So he definitely needed to take a peek in that.
