156. Bees outside the solar system

April 18, 2024

Since the North Korean leader's infamous press conference, many months had passed. Since then, there has been a significant decrease in crime across the globe, and humanity has begun to move away from spreading discord and toward real oneness. Usually, such beliefs were prevalent in the media and on social media, but that has significantly decreased in recent years.

Due to the money being appropriately distributed rather than being hoarded by the wealthy and having adequate accountability, employment had been gradually increasing. In actuality, the USA had made the most revolutionary advancement.

A deal was reached in February between Sigret, the president of the United States, and the mayor of New York City, allowing North Korea to rebuild New York and transform it into a replica of Pyongyang. In exchange, the city will pay 20% of its tax revenue to North Korea for the following 50 years.

This was a brand-new deal that had appeared out of nowhere, and upon seeing it, Seoul and Tokyo also stepped forward to sign it. However, Pyongyang refused, arguing that the necessary city reconstruction could only take place after the population had been moved in a way that did not harm the nation's economy. Therefore, it was a drawn-out procedure, and North Korea currently lacked a floating metropolis to house those residing in the busiest city in the world.

But these things wasn't the highlight of the day, it was something else.

The first formal base on the Moon was being set up by Robin and Sauvik at the time. A bigger base could only be built here if a permanent space elevators were built over the surface, but that will also be bad because at some point in the future the moon will be crushed by the weight of many space elevators being built on it. The base would be small because scientists have calculated that building a huge base on the surface of the moon would be catastrophic to it. To ensure that Earth has its own moon, a synthetic moon had to be created.

"This is going to be a research station rather than a military base." said Robin.

"That's all I need. We can construct any kind of signal receiver tower once we get that technology." Sauvik shared his thoughts. Robin received a call on his cell phone as they were talking.

"Sir, a platoon of ten spaceships is approaching our direction at an extremely high rate of speed."

The Argo spacecraft, or more specifically Kaylee, who had been in the furthest reaches of the solar system for security reasons, made the call. When the call arrived, Robin and Sauvik were having fun watching a base be constructed up using the Pioneer spaceship's gear, which was designed expressly to help set up a base on a distant world.

Hearing the call briefly caused Robin to stumble before he realized he had been waiting for them.

"Are you sure about it?" Robin asked again.

"95% certain sir, according to my radar, there hasn't been a single spacecraft that has passed by us during the last 100 light years. The first spacecraft to appear on our radar is currently traveling into the solar system and will be there in roughly 26 hours."

"Got it. Keep the Argos at the borders; don't relocate them. Don't start a conversation with them just yet; wait till they arrive. We aren't sure if they are friendly or not, so we will exercise caution. However, instruct the adjutants to prepare 20 Battlecruisers. Are Jupiter's hydrocarbons sufficient to power the ships?"

"It will be a little stretched, but the battlecruisers have enough fuel to fight and navigate for 100 light years, Sir." One of the Mars Command Center adjutants responded. The Mars Command Centers had previously constructed communication towers that could connect to Earth and support temporary normal contact. Data travel at high speeds was likely to arrive.

Robin had returned to Earth palace and didn't wait for the base to be built in moon, along with Sauvik. Rita and Cathrin were also called at Earth Palace as the call arrived. They were both a little afraid and excited.

They had seen a glimpse of Robin's military prowess and spaceships might. With just a small portion of their strength, they could have turned Earth over a thousand times, but they didn't know how evolved an alien society would be.

Even though Robin had consistently given them the assurance that they would win, the unknown was always frightening.

"So they are finally coming?" Rita groaned. She hoped that the fleet of ships was there merely as a precaution and not to conquer. She clung to that hope despite its remote likelihood. Despite Cathrin's silence, it was clear from the look on her face that she opposed bloodshed.

"Whatever is supposed to happen will always happen, until we become gods." As Robin added his own words, he thought about Murphy's law. Rita only gave a head shake.

Now, all that was left to do was watch to see how things played out.

An armada of ten alien spaceships, out of nowhere breached into the boundaries of the solar system, a sense of foreboding settled upon Earth. These extraterrestrial vessels, although smaller in size, emanated an ominous aura of power and menace. Each ship was a technological marvel, designed with a singular purpose: to conquer and dominate the solar system, including Earth itself.

The alien fleet appeared as a swarm of sleek, angular vessels, no larger than a city block, yet brimming with an astonishing array of weaponry. Their metallic hulls glistened ominously, adorned with sharp, razor-like protrusions that hinted at their destructive capabilities. These sinister ships were built for aggression, their design emphasizing stealth and offensive capabilities over grandeur.

Within the confines of these compact vessels, an arsenal of devastating weapons was meticulously stacked. Advanced energy cannons, capable of disintegrating entire buildings, were mounted on retractable armatures, ready to unleash deadly barrages upon their targets. Missiles, housed in sleek silos, possessed the ability to precisely strike with unparalleled accuracy, reducing enemy defenses to rubble.

Although each ship's cabin lacked the opulent comforts of its larger counterparts, it was a monument to its relentless efficiency. The ships' cramped interiors were divided into a number of compartments for crew housing, weaponry systems, and navigation. Aliens warriors were keeping an eye on sensor readouts and planning their takeover strategy in dimly lit control rooms.

Each ship had a command center at its core, which served as the hub of activity and strategic planning. foreign commanders examined holographic images of the solar system and potential targets, their features foreign and mysterious. Their cognitive powers were enhanced by sophisticated neural interfaces, which allowed them to make quick decisions as they planned the impending invasion.

"Colonel, we have intercepted a radar type signal that is able to detect us. Sir." -Soldier

"Detect us? Who did it? We have just jumped AW (Artificial Wormholes) to reach here." -Colonel, the one who was in-charge of this whole operation said. The Zora didn't send someone like Commander-in-Chief or some General in order to take down a planet who hadn't even able t harness all the energy that their star had thrown to their planet so it was a supposed work in the park.

"We are working as quickly as we can to assess the situation, but..." The alarms sounded throughout the spaceships, and the command center was filled with white light that was blinking before the soldier could even finish his speech.

Actually it was some kind of light that was outside the visible spectrum of human eyes, but as an author I can't see the light and can only describe what light I was seeing that had been downgraded to be seen by my eyes.

A blue tinted hologram featuring a spacecraft and a swarm of drones rotating around it appeared over the main table of the command center as the alarms began to sound.

They appeared to be a little swarm that could move independently.

"What am I looking at?" Colonel was baffled as to why the alarm went off. Where were they staring at this strange spaceship with a bees-like system when there was not supposed to be anything in this star system?

"Sir, this is the spaceship that had intercepted our radar even though we were traveling faster than light though AW. And not only this, they had been able to do it from more than 100 light years away."

"What? And you are telling me that the spaceship just happens to be outside of the star system?" When the Colonel learned this, he was taken aback. He initially believed the spacecraft to be another one from a different civilization that had appeared on their route.

But apparently they had already reached the destination and a spaceship that was quite advanced was able to intercept their arrival and know beforehand. It had to be understood that the spaceship they were using at the moment was from a galaxy ruling civilization. Even though they didn't consider these spaceships to be all that significant, their civilization did.
