It was a hectic day for Robin. Though now he was physically enhanced a bit and had even drank the Fountain of Youth, but none of this helped when his mother started bargaining with a shopkeeper about a sweater which she liked for her son.
Robin was a little embarrassed seeing how she bargained. 'For god's sake mom, your son is a millionaire now.' That was all Robin had in mind, but it probably wouldn't matter even if she knew about the wealth that her son had.
His father had already bailed out as he gave the excuse of ‘too tired from the journey'. What a lie! Betrayal of the highest order.
When Robin and his mother returned it was already late at night and had to bring a takeaway from a restaurant for their dinner. After having dinner, Robin didn't care any more and he went straight to sleep. He was too exhausted after driving around all day.
Sunday, 13th November
The next day Robin had decided to spend his time with his cousin for a bit. It would be a little cruel for him if he just left with no warnings and goodbye. Though he would be back soon but still he needed to meet her.
"Meet me. I need to talk about something."
There was no reply for an hour. It was already afternoon when the reply came.
"In the evening…. Too much work."
Robin didn't mind that. Her work was really hectic and exhausting. Robin went to meet her by evening and it was there he broke the news of leaving. At first, she didn't believe him, but when she saw his serious face, she knew that what Robin was saying was something true.
"So you are moving permanently?"
"Of course no. If I can, I will ask for work from home and come back."
"That's your wish. I am just happy that you have such a good opportunity."
"Thank you. Don't worry I will always send stuff from the Netherlands."
"Send me good things."
"I will."
Robin and Rita spoke for another hour about what their life would be. Rita was genuinely happy for her cousin but a little sad that her brother was leaving. Robin could see the speck of sadness but didn't say much. His life was going to take off soon and it would change in ways that she might not have imagined in her wildest dreams.
Rita also spoke about her professors being agreeable to her recently and they had stopped being an asshole to her. Robin just smiled at it. The amulet was still working and he was happy that she was finding peace now. Her work had almost dragged her to depression and one of the main reasons were the professors.
Now due to the amulet she was finally able to have a breath of respite. By evening Robin was back as he would have to pack his bags. His mother had already decided to send two biggest bags they had in their home and Robin didn't stop her from that.
The rest of the evening Robin packed his luggage. After all the happy mood at home, it slowly descended into a sense of gloominess as Robin was packing everything.
"Why are you sad? I will probably be back in a few months as they have assured me to provide the access to work from home." Robin said.
"No, don't come back so early. Your company wouldn't see it in a very good way if you come back this early. Be there for a year or so and then you can think of coming back."
Robin just shook his head seeing the fear of his father. Little did he know that his son wasn't going to get any job. He was going to create jobs. Robin didn't try to convince them and just shook his head. After dinner Robin was back in his room while his father came and gave advice of being careful and not be as ignorant as he normally was.

After a small conversation, Robin went to his bed and went to sleep. The flight was early in the morning and he didn't want to be sleepy in the morning itself.
Monday, 14th November
Robin woke up early and left for the airport as early as 9 am as the flight was at 12 pm. Of course, his parents came to see him off. Along the way his mother was silent and even his father only spoke a few words. After reaching the airport, his mother was finally in tears.
"I will come back soon. Don't cry."
"Don't. Just be happy there and take care of yourself." His mother said .
Robin felt a little sad for lying to his parents but there was no way out. Only way he could protect his parents was to leave them in ignorance. They were becoming old as days went by and it was better not to involve them in his world which would soon become dangerous. He would try to provide them with a good life as much as possible.
After saying his goodbye, Robin finally went inside the airport while switching on his AirPods.
"JARVIS, transfer my father to Guwahati where he wouldn't have to move around the whole country anymore."
"Okay sir."
The flight was of 2 hours and Robin spent the remaining time while texting some of his friends about his move as many of his friends didn't know about this news. Robin was never a person who would upload stories or give updates in social media as he felt that it was childish.
So now he would have to manually tell his few friends about his new move. All were surprised and congratulated him. His best friend, Sai, in Delhi was very happy and congratulated him.
"Is there any layover for the flight in Delhi?"
"No idea. If there is, I will inform you."
"Good. Would like to meet you before you leave this country and forget about us."
"Nobody is forgetting. I will be back soon."
"Everyone says that."
Robin and Sai had pointless banter on this as he boarded the plane. After taking the best seat of the plane he started listening to songs.
2.5 hours later
Robin landed on the relative hot weather of Kolkata. Though it was November, winter didn't seem to arrive yet here as it felt hot. He had to take his sweater off to escape the heat. He picked up his luggage and went to exit only to find his name in big letters on a huge card.
The people from the hotel were here to pick him up. Being the best hotel of Kolkata it was expected of them.
"Sir, can I see your ID?"
"Here."
"Welcome to Kolkata sir, please follow me."
The hotel driver took him to a Toyota Innova which was very luxurious from inside and the interior was padded with white towels and white fur wherever possible. It looked clean.
The city always gave a different vibe to Robin. It was one of the oldest cities of India and it was very apparent from the buildings and even some of the roads here looked like it was made a decade ago. Robin wasn't exactly a fan of the city but he didn't hate it. At best he had neutral opinions of the city.
Robin tended to prefer more modern cities like Bengaluru or Pune but cities like Kolkata had their own charms, especially for a city which was known for good food and sweets. It was 4 pm by the time he reached the hotel.
JARVIS had booked a suite for him. As Robin entered his room and saw the big king sized bed, lavish design on the chandelier on top, big windows, a bathroom which had a bathtub and a balcony from one could see a good chunk of the city, he really felt like his life had changed.
All this time he was indulged in games & electronics and didn't really understand how his life had changed. This hotel room of his made him realize that he really belonged to the top level of the society.
"JARVIS, thank you for the room."
"Sir, I would have preferred a better AirBnb, but there weren't any good ones that could fit the luxury and the ambiance. This hotel was close to the aesthetics of Sir Tony Stark and gauged the standards according to his preference."
"Well, I wouldn't go against the preference of famous Tony Stark. Is there any surveillance here?"
"No sir, you can rest assured that everything has been taken care of."
"Gastly, you can come out and freely move in the room."
"Gastly.. Gastly..." Gastly seemed happy that he was finally free here. He had been invisible all this time in the flight. And now he was free.
"Sir, I would inform you that you will have to take an international driver license test too here along with the interview."
"Ah yes. That is needed too."
"And sir, the western countries ask for medical clearance before they allow people from India to travel to their countries and so I have made a fake medical test for you as you would refuse to share blood in any lab."
"Oh. I didn't think about that at all. Will the fake work?"
"Sir, I have inserted your data in their server and made it such that you actually visited their place and took the tests."
"Thank you."
