"Military bases? Why would we need military bases? Aren't the aliens our friends?" The reporter was perplexed. The Supreme Leader had spoken about two alien civilizations that are actively helping the country, then why the military bases. As the leaders of the world were humming in their tunes, North Korea's military might was sufficient to destroy the entire planet.
"Not all aliens are our friends." Although Robin's response was brief and to the point, it suddenly caused everyone in the world to tremble. As soon as they learned that not all aliens might be their friends, all other issues, including the divisions in humans caused by religion and ethnicity, suddenly became indistinct. This implied that a battle might break out shortly.
"Supreme Leader.. Do we already have enemies? Humanity has never even had any contacts with aliens in the first place. Why should we suffer as a result of North Korea's sudden wild ambitions?" At the conclusion, the journalist became irritated and let her feelings control what she said.
But this question was something that was in the minds of everyone since they came to know that there might be enemies.
"I'm not arguing that the stars are our enemy. I'm stating that not all extraterrestrial life may be friendly to us. If we have the chance, we can improve our friendship; else, we'll have to take drastic actions. And talking about humanity never coming in contact with aliens, let me show you a video." As soon as Robin said that, a video in the background began to play.
It was the president of Russia's video. It showed how he had travelled to Norlisk and how he had used a spaceship to escape Earth. Additionally, a woman with her face veiled who appeared to be an android was depicted. She attempted to stop the spaceship using every weapon in her arsenal, but she was unable to do it because of its speed.
For the first time, people all over the world witnessed spacecraft and androids with such impressive combat capabilities. Even though javelins were in use and there were numerous recordings of them taking out criminals, it was still interesting to witness an android attempt to take down a starship.
"As you can see, it is your own leaders who have concealed their interactions with aliens. The Russian President had access to a spacecraft from an alien race that we were unaware of, as well as technologies that our nation hasn't yet developed. North Korea invaded Russia for this purpose, and we are now temporarily taking over the government while actively looking into what more this nation may be keeping from us. When I say about enemies in aliens, I mean the enemies which the humanity themselves has called for, and not by our footprint. I can assure you that no other extraterrestrial civilizations are aware of Earth's interaction with the aliens because North Korea had been quiet about it. Humanity itself is accountable for any conflicts with other species."
As the information exploded in front of the people, it was like dropping a massive bomb on them. A world leader escaping into space was not what they anticipated. The Russian President's escape was then demonstrated by Robin. It was because he was facing some severe accusations and had nowhere else to turn.
People all throughout the world came to see that humanity's only true enemy was other humans. Just like it always had been. Betrayals was still a thing and one world leader just did so in order to save his ass. This angered people, but they were unsure of how to express it.
The journalist wanted to ask more questions about it, but she had to sit down because her two-question allotment had run out. She felt a little uncomfortable for having blamed North Korea of endangering mankind when this was not the case because their own leaders had failed them.
Over time, a variety of journalists questioned him on a variety of topics, including the capabilities of technology that could increase human longevity, whether people could enlist in the space military, and when they would be able to travel to another star. As the lengthy press conference session progressed, Robin patiently spoke to each of them.

A star system 1000 light years away. There was a species of people called Zorians that lived on the planet Zora. It was teeming and upcoming civilization that according to Earth standards has reached the level of 1.5 grade on the Kardashev scale, or in other words, the civilization was able to harness all the power that was emitted by their sun to their planet and also around 50% of the energy of the star being emitted by their sun.
The star wasn't something unknown to Planet Earth. Astronomers called the star KIC 8462852, often referred to as Boyajian's star. The NASA had raised an alert because the star's brightness was fading in an odd way that wasn't consistent with a natural occurrence.
Nobody could, of course, verify that this star had extraterrestrial civilizations or that it possessed a Dyson sphere surrounding its sun. However, there was indeed a civilisation there at the time.
And there was just one government, unlike humanity. Since the last three thousand years, or more specifically since the civilization attained level one of the Kardashev scale, there has only ever been one king ruling the species. A family suddenly emerged above the nations and tribes that had divided the world and assumed control of it as a result of superior technology, logistics, and leadership after the war had been raging for 50 years (in human terms).
Right now, the royal family was residing in the star's main palace.
"Your Highness, we have received an unusual signal from a receiver that we have received from 'them'. This the first signal we have got from any receiver that we have held since the planet has united under the banner of the great Draxelius Zora."
The hall was be vast, with soaring ceilings and expansive dimensions, creating a sense of space and magnificence. The walls were adorned with intricate and mesmerizing holographic displays, showcasing scenes from the civilization's history, scientific achievements, and artistic masterpieces all around. The King was sitting on centerpiece of the hall on an imposing throne, crafted from advanced materials and adorned with ornate designs that symbolize the King's authority and power. The throne incorporated advanced technologies, such as levitation mechanisms and integrated control panels, representing the civilization's mastery over their environment. Surrounding the throne was an array of technologically advanced interfaces, providing the King with access to real-time information, communication systems, and controls for various aspects of their civilization.
Soft, ambient lighting filled the lonely hall, emanating from energy-efficient sources that harmonize with the overall aesthetic. The air was infused with a gentle, calming scent, created through advanced air purification and aromatherapy systems. The acoustics of the hall was finely tuned, ensuring that even the softest whispers can be heard clearly throughout the chamber, buts sadly there was nobody else in the great Hall other than the King and the messenger who was bowing on his knees.
When the messenger submitted the report he had received, the King's right hand finger twitched slightly, but no one else noticed. The messenger was one of the royal family's most reliable messengers, so the King gave him entry when he was alone himself in the great hall. Few people had such opportunity.
"Was there any information in the signal?"
"Your Majesty, no. There was only the signal's location. The fact that the signal was sent indicates that the alien civilization is almost at 'Star system' scale. What orders do you have, Your Majesty?"
"..."
With the exception of a quiet background tone that echoed off the walls, the large auditorium was completely silent. Following a full minute of silence, the King spoke.
"Send a small armada of 10 ships with appropriate number of firepower and manpower. Do not belittle them. The most dangerous civilizations are those that are on the verge of collapse. Take them under the name of Zorians. I will send 'them' the acquisition once the armada has conquered the planet. Nothing should go wrong in this. said the King.
"Your majesty, yes. May the Zorians Unite, Explore, Evolve."
"May we Unite, Explore, Evolve."
The messenger then departed. From his throne, the King gently strolled up to the large windows. The King's facial features weren't obvious earlier because his head was hidden beneath a long robe in the manner of an assassin's creed player, but now that he was close to the window, anyone in the area could see the face more clearly.
His facial structure included intricate patterns of bioluminescent markings on his skin. These markings served both functional and expressive purposes, allowing him or the other people in his species to communicate complex emotions, intentions, and social cues. The bioluminescent patterns could change in intensity, color, and rhythm, enhancing their non-verbal communication abilities.
