88. Even the dog can't differentiate

In the area where Myrene and Sigret were, Robin had reemerged. They were currently having a good time while sitting in a coffee establishment. No one, not even those Ark inhabitants, noted Robin's sudden appearance. The magic from the Harry Potter universe was truly amazing, and Robin could attest to the that truth, when used properly, muggles could never see wizards. Since getting the wand, he had tried many various things and even read the spell books from Skyrim.

He was attempting to create new spells while using Skyrim as a model.

Sigret asked Robin a question as soon as she seated down at the coffee table.

"Is he behind bars?"

"Why bother when you already know the answer?" Robin asked because he knew Sigret was watching everything that was happening.

"Well, I wanted to know about what you found out with your mind reading spell?" Sigret queried, acknowledging that she had been watching.

"Everything he said was accurate. We now need to track down Mr. X." said Robin.

"This Mr. X seems to be a maniacal paranoid, so he probably accepted this case on call rather than out of curiosity. A paranoid person would never dive into a whirlpool by himself which means the people who have hired him seems to hold some kind of chip against him. We must begin with your obvious adversaries, beginning with the director of the CIA." Myrene offered her own viewpoint.

Robin and Sigret both nodded in agreement.

"This is strange. Though there have been lapses on my eyes on those high level officials but in no way I have ever seen any secret person appearing in front of them." Sigret was somewhat perplexed. If this Mr. X was really so secretive, then how the hell was he able to meet with the upper echelons on whom they have been keeping their eyes on.

"This demonstrates how careful Mr. X is. Instead of just observing them through a rifle's looking glass, we should send our Ghost soldiers to remain close to these people." Robin made an idea.

"Then we will have to train them in interpersonal skills and the infiltration would take time." For them, Myrene did the math.

"I know but we still need it." Robin was unwavering. And the Brotherhood quickly received his instructions. They would need to educate a fresh group of Ghost soldiers who would be more socially adept in addition to being proficient with a weapon and in combat. The soldiers would be better able to enter the inner group of these prominent individuals.

"How will Mr. X know what had happened to his kid now that we have him in prison?" Myrene enquired.

"Julius was set a deadline from Mr. X of 2.5 months. If he wasn't able to make it back in time, he was either already deceased or there was a problem with DPRK. He had a lot of confidence in his abilities, so Mr. X presumably would think something was wrong with DPRK. I suppose it had to happen eventually. One will undoubtedly wonder why a nation would be isolated for so long." As he said that, Robin let out a groan.

It meant that after 2 and a half months, hell would start to break loose. If they want to stop it, they should better find this Mr. X and stop him. He knew that it was useless to think more as it was the headache of Sigret and JARVIS and not his. Of course it would be his problem if they weren't able to find him.

Robin didn't waste anymore brain cells on this and caught the hands of Myrene and Sigret, and with one weird *boop* sound they vanished. All that was left behind was a sum of money on the table for the coffee ordered.

He could transport numerous individuals, and to any location on the planet, thanks to his magic. He was back at Malaysia where the trials were still on going and now he had a date with Cathrin. After the initial shock of his dealings with CIA she readily accepted Robin in her life and Robin too was found it quite meaningful.

As of now none of the two found any red flags on each other. His job, which Cathrin thought was a bit secretive, was the only thing that raised a red flag in her mind. Though she had left the episode with CIA on the island behind her and believed Robin, there was still a feeling that Robin did more than just growing those weird plants.

But she refrained from asking because any work that the CIA or other interested parties would be interested in must be extremely crucial and high level. She had faith that Robin would inform her when the moment was right. Whatever the case, she was influenced by fiction films, and a portion of her wasn't even interested in learning about Robin's world. Perhaps it was extremely risky.

As usual, they met in a tiny café where they both had privacy and could simply sit and chat.

"How are the trials? Sigret is still being harassed by the media?" Cathrin asked. Having seen Sigret in the media, she was able to readily discern her annoyance when speaking with the reporters. When she saw her on television, she almost laughed at this.

"Soon, we will enter the second phase. The trials would proceed in America after the second phase, where they would be tested on American citizens." As he spoke, Robin was munching on a french fry.

Cathrin experienced some melancholy upon realising that Robin would depart after the trials. Robin noticed her sorrow but opted to change the subject rather than speak.

"You free next month?"

"Month after? I haven't yet committed to any significant brand agreements. Why?"

"Want to travel to Italy with me? I want you to go with me to my cousin's wedding there." Robin probed. When Robin uttered those words, Cathrin's pupils grew wide. She learned from Robin that his cousin and his buddy had played a significant role in his life and that his cousin was engaged to be married.

When Robin invited her to the wedding, it was obvious that she would have to get to know his family and, more significantly, his influential cousin. She felt a little self conscious when Robin asked her as she didn't know if she was good enough for him.

"Italy? Not in India, why?"

"Since my cousin had never travelled outside of the nation, I want to give her a lavish Indian wedding as a gift." said Robin. In reality, he had just recently reiterated his intention to force her to get married in Italy, and of course, he would pay for it. He didn't care about money anymore, so why not just have a little fun? Since it was more quiet, many of India's wealthy people prefer to get married there, and Robin would undoubtedly prefer more peace at these kinds of gatherings.

She nearly passed out when his cousin learned of his intentions. Robin had to persuade her that he would take care of everything so she wouldn't have to worry about a thing. She continued by telling her fiancé about it, and he had to phone to confirm that he understood her correctly.

A lot of people called Robin that day, including his folks, to verify whether or not he was telling the truth. Usually, his parents would chastise him and advise him to save money, but this time they seemed unconcerned and allowed him to do whatever he wanted.

"Are you certain that me coming will be alright?" Cathrin asked with some shyness.

"Not to fear. It'll be alright." Robin gave her comfort.

"Okay, since my rich boyfriend is giving me a vacation, who am I to say no?" Robin cracked a small grin in response to Cathrin's joke.

Meanwhile, when Robin was enjoying his time with Cathrin, Sigret after returning went into TARDIS and reached America. She intended to snuck into the CIA on her own. She needed to maintain contact with the CIA director because he was the primary person with whom she had communication gaps.

At first, she considered kidnapping the Director's Assistant and passing for her, but she restrained herself. There would be a greater possibility of her being caught if she did that. She would deal with the Director almost constantly as the Secretary, which meant he would undoubtedly notice something wrong with her. It would have been wiser to observe him from within his workplace.

She vowed never to misjudge a person again. She learned her lesson from one Mr. X. She thus began her mission before telling Robin about her scheme. She went on to choose a female colleague who worked just outside the main office of CIA.

She was very easy to kidnapped and lived alone so it was very easy for Sigret to kidnap her and replace her. Sigret knew almost everything about her, starting from morning alarms to her evening walks with her dog. Even the dog itself wasn't able to differentiate between the actual woman and Sigret because Sigret even mimicked the smell of the woman.
