95. No drugs in rich families?

"No," Sigret said.

"No? Isn't it you who tells me to go around killing everyone who resists me?" Robin inquired of Sigret. He was still fuming over what had transpired today. He may not have shown it to the woman he had apprehended, but he had wished to kill her on the inside. She'd arrived to intimidate him and his family. This was not something that could be ignored.

Though he had provided protection for his parents and close relatives, this did not mean that if anyone approached them, they would be ignored. But they had crossed the limit today, and he despised it.

"I know what you want but if you kill them in this manner, they would come after you with all guns blazing. You still don't have any market influence. You may have control over assets, but the public is unaware of this. If you really proclaim war on them, it won't take long for them to start accusing you. And your dream of solving humanity's issues would become more sluggish. Sure, when North Korea opens up, humanity will gradually and steadily comprehend, but do you want to wait for it?" Sigret explained her reasoning for halting him.

"So you want me to just disregard whatever happened? You seem to have forgotten that this lady appeared out of nowhere. Even that leak to CIA, this Mr. X didn't show up with any warning signs." Robin retorted.

"Of course not. You can destroy them, but not in the manner you prefer. If you hang them on the Golden Bridge, they would know that it was you who killed them since these young men wanted to play mafia boss. You are a demonstrated threat to them, and they will use all political means at their disposal to bring you down. They will also charge you of being responsible for the deaths of drug dealers. If you want them dead, there are many ways. Don't they drive cars and have fun outside? It will be simple to kill them by slip up. Concerning our blind spot, we have already discovered the CIA breach. It was the lady who first realized it was the berries." Sigret responded.

"Are you referring to Diana?" Robin was taken aback. He recalled JARVIS telling him that a woman had cracked the code because the intern's partner worked in Cargill.

"Yeah. Guess what, her partner is also a spy." Sigret stated.

"Fire her once you've determined that there is no mole in the company." Robin stated that she was still thinking about the 'accidents' hypothesis. Sigret was correct. He didn't need grandstanding or theatrics to murder these 'young arrogant lords and mistresses'. Death was inevitable for them. When he requested Sigret to fire the moles in the lab, she nodded.

"Are you okay with the mishaps?" Sigret inquired.

"Fine. Isn't it true that there are six individuals involved? Kill the 4 in accidents. One per month. By the time these people recognize something is wrong, North Korea will have opened, and it will be too late for them to do anything. The medicines will flood the market, and if they come to us, we can simply disclose their old files. But for the time being, I want immediate karma for them." Robin eventually agreed with Sigret's statement.

"Of course, the files of the two men who truly merit a second chance will be made public. This would both be their final caution. I'll dispatch more Ghost Corps." Sigret stated.

Robin let out a breath. He was on the verge of starting a conflict, and he had every reason to do so. However, Sigret reminded him of how near he was to having everything in order. One outlandish action would cause whatever he was attempting to construct to crumble. He was exhausted. He chose to sleep after the conversation.

He loved coming to bed now. He had Cathrin to cuddle with for as long as he wished. Sometimes it wasn't about having fun; sometimes it was about having peace, stability, and security in one's existence.

The following day

210 Naio Place Lahaina, Hawaii

Helena had come for a vacation with her close family associates. She'd been here for a while and was having a good time. By having fun, she meant having rave parties at night, orgies, drugs, booze, and anything else that could be considered degenerate. But of course, Helena was only indulging in everything except drugs. There was a very strict policy in her family and all the rich families of their circle.

One can have a little bit of an alcohol addiction, murder people for profit, and make their way in the world however they want, but drug use was never entertained in the family. It was strange, but it was the family's unwritten rule. If someone in the family was discovered using drugs, he or she would be immediately disowned by the family.

So, for the time being, all of the drugs and alcohol in the home were only for his friends and the people who came to the parties, not for herself or her camp's friends. Helena had awoken late in the afternoon. She was sleeping on top of a 6 foot tall hunk guy. Being wealthy provided her with unlimited access to all joys, and she simply enjoyed herself until early morning with this random guy she met at the party.

Naturally, not everything at the gathering was unsupervised. There were bodyguards who checked who was entering and exiting the gathering, and Helena was always accompanied by a butler. This was done to keep an eye on her and to determine whether she was worthy of sitting on the throne of the family company.

"I need coffee, Jones..." Helena yelled as she enveloped herself in a bathing robe. She needed a bath after a long night of sex and slumber. She didn't consume much alcohol, so she didn't have a bad hangover, but she did need a coffee. Jones was the name of her private butler which the family had decided for her and she was happy with his work. In reality, Jones has given Helena high marks for her cunning, business acumen, and brutality in the family business.

Because of this, she was most likely to take over as head of the household after her father retired. She sat on the balcony of the large villa she had leased after getting out of the shower and making herself a cup of coffee and gazing out at the calm ocean.

"Jones, has Lydia provided any updates? She has been disconnected for the past 12 hours?" Helena inquired.

"No, Miss, she didn't make her scheduled update." Jones responded, and he was a little nervous about it. With Helena's prior actions, he was already not very supportive. The family had attempted to intimidate Robin twice, and both times it had failed. The police didn't even have bodies to point out when the second attack was carried out.

This man wielded considerable influence. In reality, the families had already been warned not to poke Robin because of previous arrests, but Helena felt humiliated that someone was out there mocking their authority. So, in order to teach this man a lesson, she had Lydia invite him and threatened him if he did not accept the invitation.

Of course, she didn't make this choice alone; her friends who were heirs to other powerful families had backed her up. Lydia's disappearance made her feel uneasy, and for some reason she felt she had made a huge error.

A police siren sounded, as if to confirm her dread. And after a minute there was a knock at the door. Helena wasn't able to register that police would come to her door. Before she could storm out the door and chastise the cops for having the audacity to come to her house, her phone rang.

Her father had called.

"Wait a minute, Dad... I will contact you again. The police seems to have come to annoy us." Helena answered the phone and stated flatly...

"Helena... You will not do anything like that. The cops are there to arrest your friends Jenny and Toni," her father said over the phone.

"What? Who gave them that authority?" Helena responded with a question and almost a scream. She had known Jenny and Toni since infancy and had done everything together. These two were from other prominent families.

"I'm not sure, but someone sent enough proof for the cops to get arrest warrants. I and the other families are working hard to figure out what happened."

"Who? Who sent the files?" Helena asked as by that Jones went to the door to handle the police and also asked the guards to wake everyone up.

"We don't know. We are looking into it." Her father replied in a little unconvincing tone.

".."

"Do you think it's him?" Helena asked.

"Sigh! I should have stopped you when you wanted to go after him. If it's really him, then I guess we have a lot of problems in our plate."
