176. make yourself happy

"I must admit, you guys kept me in the dark for quite some time," Ravi remarked as he and his wife arrived at the space station.

"Well... What we did wasn't exactly conventional, and it probably wouldn't be well-received by the general public. Having someone like me possess such immense power would make many uncomfortable," Robin explained.

"People are often more at ease when they don't know who truly wields power. What you have accomplished is akin to godlike abilities. Walking among humans with such divine powers would only invoke fear rather than love. But you did an exceptional job of concealing your true strength," Ravi acknowledged. Cathrin and the others present nodded in agreement.

As always, being at the space station evoked a sense of novelty and wonder.

"Take a moment to gaze at Earth closely and engrave it in your memory. We won't be seeing it for some time," Robin reminded them, observing his friends as they peered through the glass window, taking in the breathtaking view of the Blue Planet. After a brief pause and a deep breath, they proceeded towards the docks, where their ship awaited them.

It was the Origin 890 Jump.

Emily and Cassandra had already boarded the ship, but they weren't the only ones. In addition to the space hostesses, there were also space maids on board.

Yes, Robin had coined a new term for the individuals responsible for housekeeping. Surprisingly, the maids chosen by Emily and Cassandra were familiar to Robin from long ago. They were the three Korean women whom he had rescued and kept in the Ark for some time before setting them free. Their names were Ae-cha, Ari, and Bora. They had been liberated from the clutches of Kim Jong-Un.

Since gaining their freedom, their lives had improved thanks to Robin's assistance and policies. However, they understood that in order to secure a better livelihood, they needed to work. It took them some time to recover from the trauma inflicted upon them by Kim, but when the opportunity arose to work with the person who had saved them, they eagerly accepted.

They had witnessed how this individual had slain their rapist, delivered justice, and restored purpose to their lives. They felt an immense gratitude and a desire to repay him. Alongside the three women, there was a Ukrainian woman responsible for hairstyling and makeup, as well as two cooks—one from Thailand and the other from Italy.

This diverse crew formed Robin's primary team, accompanying him on long journeys and future expeditions. As Robin and the others made their way through the hangar and into the spaceship, they were greeted warmly by the crew. Emily and Cassandra had already conducted an orientation for the new members, informing them of what to expect. Another surprise awaited Robin in the form of a familiar face—David Miller was among the crew.

As Robin and the others entered the hangar, David Miller, the co-pilot of the Origin 890 Jump, caught sight of some familiar faces, causing a smile to spread across his face.

Ae-cha, Ari, and Bora approached, bowing before Robin could even reach them. Their eyes were filled with tears, prompting Robin to inquire about their emotions.

"Why are you crying?" Robin couldn't help but ask.

"These are tears of happiness. When we last met, we didn't fully comprehend what was happening, so we couldn't properly express our gratitude. You saved our lives, and now we want to dedicate the remainder of our lives to serving you," Bora replied, her words echoed by the agreement of the other two women.

"If you want to express gratitude, dedicate your lives to finding happiness within yourselves. Being maids on the ship does not make you any less important than me. What you have gone through is unimaginable to me, even in my wildest dreams, and that makes you stronger. Stronger than me," Robin assured them, bringing happiness to the three women who nodded appreciatively. They were glad to be acknowledged and treated with respect.

Now it was David's turn. He still harbored some uncertainty about whether Robin was the man in the blue suit he had encountered in the desert, the one who had made a mockery of the others. Thus, he approached with caution.

"I can see that you took my advice to heart. Welcome aboard," Robin said, instantly transforming David's expression. His face lit up with joy, relief, and excitement, all at once.

"Thank you... Thank you so much for changing my life. I never could have imagined that within a year, my life would undergo such a transformation," David exclaimed, his voice brimming with enthusiasm.

"Well, I'll be even more delighted if you perform your job well. Who knows, perhaps your skills will take you to other galaxies as well," Robin replied, his words igniting a radiant spark in David's eyes.

"I will provide the best spaceship flying experience alongside the main pilot. I guarantee it. You won't regret it, Sir," David vowed, filled with determination.

The new crew members weren't the only occupants of the spaceship. Pokémon also accompanied them on this journey. Robin chose not to leave them in the TARDIS and allowed them to join the adventure. The crew had been informed about their presence after signing the contract, but seeing the Pokémon in person was an entirely different experience. Gengar had already merged with Robin's shadow, a sight he had missed. Other Pokémon approached Robin, rubbing their heads against his hand, displaying their affection and camaraderie.

The others around had now got accustomed to the huge changes that Robin had brought using his Godly powers, but the new crew members were speechless. Thankfully, the Pokémon weren't hostile to them and greeted everyone. Their presence brought joy to the small crew.

"We should leave. The docks have cleared to let us take off." Sigret from the side commented. Sigret and Myrene had also joined them in the journey, along with the main server of JARVIS.

After getting everything in order, Robin and others settled around in their designated places while the Pokémon jumped, flew and trotted around like they owned the place. Soon the spaceship took off and went into hyper drive after a small announcement.

The crew marveled the travel was everyone was invited to the bridge to look how they traveled in high speed. The journey to Mars would take some hours so the cooks decided to make some snacks for everyone.

After a few hours hours in the spaceship, the ship finally landed on Mars. Everyone had been sanitized before the airlocks of the ship opened and the hangar dropped down. Everyone emerged, their eyes widening in awe at the breathtaking scene that unfolded before them. They found themselves standing on fertile ground, soft and lush beneath their boots, as if nature herself had laid out a welcoming carpet. The air carried a scent of blooming flowers, a symphony of fragrances intertwining harmoniously.

The sky above was a riot of colors, unlike anything they had ever seen. Swirling hues of amethyst, turquoise, and rose melded together in a celestial dance. It was as if an artist had taken their palette and painted the heavens with strokes of pure enchantment.

But it was the vegetation that truly captivated their attention. Trees soared high into the sky, their trunks shimmering with a kaleidoscope of iridescent hues. Leaves took on various forms, resembling delicate feathers, translucent petals, or even ethereal flames. Each branch and leaf seemed to possess a gentle luminescence, casting a soft, enchanting glow throughout the surroundings.

Rivers meandered gracefully through the landscape, their waters flowing with a luminous radiance. The liquid shimmered in shades of celestial azure, casting a gentle glow upon the banks. In the distance, majestic mountains pierced the sky, their peaks adorned with cascading waterfalls that tumbled into crystal-clear pools below.

"The Traveler outdid itself while terraforming the planet. Nobody will ever believe that this was Mars once." Robin mumbled under his breath.

"Look at those trees! They're like living rainbows!"

"By the stars, this place is beyond anything I imagined!"

"The air here smells like pure bliss. It's like walking through a fragrant dream! I am glad I took the decision of coming in this journey."

Such exclamations came from all the crew members as they slowly walked through the flora and fauna of the place. This was beyond what they expected from Mars. Though they were watching the place from high above as the spaceship was making it's landing but now experiencing everything in real time made them realize how beautiful this planet was.

"Go.. Explore the planet on your own. We will be for sometime here as the spaceship for our next journey get ready with the crew." Robin said.

Rita and Ravi immediately took off in a different direction and so did others. They all had a gps and other facilities, thanks to satellites been put in the orbit of Mars. Miller even took the Nox that had been parked in the spaceship.

Nox was a hoverbike, an all terrain vehicle.
