"So I have become a bringer of life. My magic now possesses both necromancy and life-giving abilities." As he observed the changes all around him, Robin said. Now that he was a Champion of Light, he felt like he could do a lot of things.
"How do you feel?" Sigret asked as she saw his master do 'magic' with bare hands.
"Godly. Let me see if I can do something." As light wings appeared on his back, Robin muttered. They seemed stunning, and he now unmistakably had an angelic appearance. Robin grinned as he turned to look behind him.
He launched himself into the air as he peered up towards space. He was in space in an instant thanks to his speedy acceleration with each passing second. He didn't need the Blue Beetle suit anymore as he could now live in space without any problem. Robin was not done with it, he looked at the direction of Earth and made his wings bigger and broader.
He then made a direct flight for Earth. His physical appearance changed, as he gradually turned into pure light. It didn't take much time for him to reach Earth and land right at the roof. To find the place, he didn't even need to use the Internet. Every single entity was now like a light bulb to him and he could distinguish them easily.
He was able to pinpoint the place in the same way as he could see the "light bulb" of his parents. Robin landed on his roof, thank goodness it was late at night and nobody saw it, or the next day's press would call him a meteor.
TARDIS appeared next to him as he touched down.
"Congratulations on being half a god." said Myrene. Robin merely grinned. He was actually having trouble believing what had transpired. Though it appeared that the Traveler was the true beneficiary in this situation, he simply assisted Traveler because he intended to terraform the Earth.
It wouldn't be too unfair if he changed his name to Hashirama Senju now that he had attained immortality. He was sure that Shaymin, who was in the Earth palace at the moment, would love to spend more time with him.
"Yeah, I think my newfound abilities will allow me to accomplish a lot." As he was trying to digest everything that had been imparted to him, Robin spoke. Myrene and Sigret nodded before leaving the patio once more using the TARDIS.
Robin checked himself and was left alone. He could clearly see himself even in the darkness. He was struggling to comprehend the shift as he stared at his new form, his eyes genuinely glistening.
"Traveler, can you hear me?" Robin made a mental speech.
"Go on, Benefactor." It was the Ghost's response once more.
"Ah.. Please just address me as Robin. Benefactor seems weird as I am the one who benefited from you." said Robin.
"As you wish." said the ghost.
"Can you begin terraforming the planet?" Robin enquired.
"The procedure has already gotten under way. It will take two days to complete. The Traveler have seen that you have a military presence here, and based on appearances, a conflict has recently taken place. Do you want me to resurrect the deceased Terrans as Guardians?"
"Eh! You can do so?" Robin enquired.
"The Traveler am back at 40% of my full capacity and it will take some time to reach its peak condition again. But such small things can be accomplished easily."
This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
"Wait, you are not in peak condition?" Robin was horrified. He knew how much power he possessed because he was the Champion of Light. He had the ability to create life around him, terraform his surroundings, wield hot lasers as weapons that could cut through anything, live in space, and even travel at the speed of light, but this Traveler reminded him that it was still not the entire extent of his power.
"No. There is a great deal of room for development. Thankfully, there is Light in this cosmos, so getting back to my best state again shouldn't take too long. When I am at my best, I can terraform several worlds." The Ghost said in his mind.
"That is crazy." Robin grunted.
"Okay. You terraform Mars at your own leisure. I'm grateful that you shared your divine abilities with me." said Robin.
"And I want to thank you for saving us from our suffering. Should The Traveler therefore dispatch the Ghosts to resurrect the fallen soldiers?" The Ghost enquired.
"Well, you talk to General Edmund Duke, who is in the Command Center, about this. He has already heard from Sigret about you. I believe he should have some input because you want to revive his warriors."
"Understood. I'm going to see him right now." said the Ghost. After that, the talk was over. Robin was too energized to simply fall asleep, and he sensed that his body would likely never again require sleep.
In a way, he had actually attained godhood. With weapons made of light, he was able to move at the speed of light. Did he consume the Logia fruit of light and turn into Kizaru from One Piece as well? It seemed like that.
Robin had the impression that he could extend the lives of people and make them immortal if he so desired. Light had been incredibly kind to him, and this only represented 40% of his potential. Slowly, the other 60% would arrive. He was eager to see what his entire potential might be.
Robin used to apparate to travel from place to place and had to utilize magic to fly, which was only possible at medium speeds. But now he could apparate at the fastest possible speed and travel anyplace. He noted that it was morning in Malaysia and, without giving it any consideration, used light speed to travel to Cathrin's house. Cathrin and his companions headed for their parents' house after Robin left North Korea. They had been out of their parents country for a long time and after the traumatic experience with the war, they felt like they needed to be with their parents.
In Malaysia, it was dawn, and Cathrin had just awoken. When Robin appeared behind him in a flash of light, she was brushing her teeth in the bathroom. When she used the mirror to her advantage to see something come behind her, she nearly shouted in terror.
Since she was in her parents' house, Robin was prepared and immediately put his palm over her lips to stop the scream. He didn't want her parents to rush in to check on her in the bathroom.
"Robin.. Why in the world are you here?" After coming down, Cathrin talked with her lips partially closed. She didn't anticipate her boyfriend visiting, especially in the restroom. Knowing that it was her boyfriend and not someone who had shown up for kidnapping, she got relieved.
"Well I got myself new abilities, so wanted to show my beloved." said Robin.
"New skills? Didn't you just apparate?" Cathrin didn't understand.
"No. See." Robin said as she swirled his fingers for a bit and then the magic happened. The bathroom was spotless and had brilliant lights behind a large square-shaped mirror. However, suddenly climber plants began to sprout nearby and spread quickly, covering the walls and the mirror.
The branches were white, the little leaves were scarlet, and the buds that appeared to be sprouting were purple, which improved the bathroom's aesthetic to a new level. Cathrin was perplexed despite the beauty of it.
"You could have done this before too." Cathrin questioned, recalling that she had previously been able to accomplish the same. As Robin realized he could do the same with his wand as well, he tensed up. After giving it some thought, Robin utilized his newly discovered talents on her. Cathrin was taken aback but trusted her boyfriend.
Cathrin felt what felt like a thousand little whispers over her entire body as light appeared to emanate from his hands and touched hers. As more light began to flow in and illuminate the restroom, she experienced a sensation of all her cells coming to life.
Even though she was under the care of some of the best doctors in the world, she was still young and in no way old, but she could feel her skin tightening and the side of her hair growing more lustrous. She was infused with life, which flowed through every fiber of her body.
She underwent internal change in addition to external change. She experienced a surge of fresh energy, a heightened sense of awareness, and mental acuity.
"What.. What is this?" When the process finally came to an end, Cathrin questioned. She had just woken up and there was no inch of makeup on her skin but now she seemed to glow more than the makeup she used all her life.
She looked younger, more attractive, and more in shape than she ever had in her entire life.
