Bringing the game items to the real world
76. Hello.. hello.. Are you okay?

76. Hello.. hello.. Are you okay?

Robin had not anticipated this. He had always believed JARVIS' statistics, and the presence of leaks in the company was abysmally small. However, statistics proved Robin incorrect for the first time. This entire incident made Robin think about government statistics. The statistics revealed one thing, but the reality revealed another. This was the perfect example.

"What are your plans to address it? Should everyone on the team be fired?" Sigret appeared irritated that such a thing occurred while she and JARVIS were watching.

"No. Why should the innocent suffer because of the actions of one? Please send the Shadow Corps. Tell them to keep an eye on everyone involved in the project. Because only Labcorp is aware of the berries, the work of the FDA may be overlooked, but take a look at their scientists who are attempting to decipher the drug too. Diana, that woman, keep an eye on her. Because her boyfriend cracked the code, there could be a problem there too." Robin stated.

"Whoever disclosed the information did it in the conventional manners. Even better, they ignored our prediction." Sigret nodded before speaking. The Shadow Corps had already received Robin's orders. The major organisations, including the White House, the European Union, the CCP, and all other key groupings that ruled the world, had already begun to be infiltrated by the Shadow Corps. In truth, the Shadow Corps had begun spying on the established, wealthy families as well. Now, the Shadow Corps just had an extra work on top of what they were doing.

"The prediction made by JARVIS and you was destined to be wrong sometime. I didn't anticipate it to arrive that quickly. I anticipated it would occur in space, but my species alone made me humble." Robin said as he let out a hollow laugh.

"Don't laugh. What approach do you wish to take? Set the Pentagon ablaze?" Sigret enquired.

"Are you insane? Of course no. I'll assume that because the Pentagon is aware, they will take the appropriate action and pursue me as well. I'll welcome them with a bouquet of flowers, JARVIS purchase two islands that are far from people and habitat. Make sure the islands are situated so far that any changes to it's environment won't have an impact on the planet. Let me just redirect their focus since DPRK isn't ready to open yet." The following directive came from Robin as he had a brand-new thinking. Sigret and JARVIS were interested in the idea their master had developed, but they refrained from asking.

Action was taken, and JARVIS and Sigret set out to find appropriate islands. Sigret grabbed the TARDIS and went island-testing herself to make sure the islands were far from populated areas and wouldn't harm the nature.

Robin only had to wait for the CIA at this point. Additionally, Sigret instructed the Shadow Corps to dispatch a few members to guard their Commander. Although it wasn't really necessary—Robin was essentially bulletproof thanks to his buffs from Hollow Knight, and his own physical prowess was unmatched among humans—Sigret didn't want to take any chances after this time's loss to a human.

Finally, the day had arrived for Robin to meet Cathrin, and he had prepared for it. It had been a fairly interesting 48 hours. Sigret and JARVIS were monitoring the CIA, and they learned that a team would be deployed to kidnap Robin and take him to a safe house where he would be interrogated.

And then according to the words of Robin, the subsequent plans will be executed. But the execution would still take some time. And on top of that Robin had gone to visit the two islands that Sigret and JARVIS had chosen. These islands are very far away from humanity and had almost a separate ecosystem. Only the insects, snakes and rodents lived here. The birds refrained from coming here because of the poisonous snakes on the island and thus it became a separate ecosystem of its own.

When Robin arrived at the island, he immediately started spreading one particular from a game he had picked out and spread it across the entire area. When Sigret and Myrene eventually caught a glimpse of what Robin was doing, they learned what he was up to.

"With this, you're going to blow those fat guys' heads." said Sigret.

"This is the safest approach for me to redirect their focus away from myself and establish a working relationship with them. Although I could bring down the Pentagon and punish them for all the atrocities they committed in other nations, the moment is not right. In a few more months, they will beg to be put to death themselves." Sigret and Myrene nodded in agreement as Robin spoke.

Robin came back after taking care of two islands that actually belonged to no one. He was currently travelling to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center to attend Comic-Con ( KLCC ). Robin had spent a good deal of time exploring the city and enjoyed the cuisine. He believed that the cuisine was a mashup of certain Indian and other distinct cuisines from various Asian countries. It was incredible, to put it mildly.

"Hey." Robin spoke over call.

"Hello. Wow I thought you will never call me after we exchanged numbers." Came a girly voice from the other side.

"I am not very good at vocal communication with people."

"You are more reserved than I expected, dude." stated Cathrin. She had been waiting for Robin to call her after exchanging numbers, but he never did. This annoyed her a little but also made her more interested in Robin.

"Yeah sorry about that." Robin replied.

"I am now dressing up as Wonder Woman for the Comic Con." Cathrin said.

"Like the one in Instagram?" Robin asked.

"Yup." Cathrin said with a smile, happy that Robin had gone through her profile.

"I have dressed up as Geralt for the Comic Con." Robin said.

"Oh! That's great... Eh! Wait! Which Comic Con? In Amsterdam?" Cathrin was taken aback with this sudden mention of Comic Con from other side.

"No. The one in Kuala Lumpur." Robin said with a calm tone.

"What?!!" Cathrin almost screamed over the phone so much so that Robin had to separate the phone from his ear.

"...."

"Moshi Moshi... Daijobou deska?" Robin said while trying to sound like Shinobu from Demon Slayer.

"You are here and didn't even tell me?" Cathrin's tone was a tad bit high when she asked that.

"I came two days ago for work purposes and remembered that there was a Comic Con. Booked the tickets and got myself ready."

"You could have at least mentioned when we texted yesterday." Cathrin said.

"Wanted to surprise you."

"I am coming to pick you up." Cathrin said.

"No, I have already left. We can meet if you come to the Comic Con." said Robin. When Cathrin learned she would be meeting him, her heart began to race. She had only ever seen Robin in a few Instagram photos and heard his voice over video games at this period. In all honesty, she was more drawn to him than vice versa.

For her, Robin was mysterious, rich and the best player she had ever faced. Though it might be little shallow but someone like Cathrin had to see if someone she liked atleast earned well. She was earning quite a lot with all her brand endorsements, twitch gaming and even cosplaying for NFTs which was now the trend in the world.

In fact she was sometimes even asked to play piano in private parties and she was paid quite well in that too. And she wasn't living in some dreamland to think that a man's ego wouldn't be hurt if the woman earned more than the man in a relationship. Though she never advocated for it, she was yet to find anyone who could look over the fact.

Robin tick marked every single thing she wanted in a potential boyfriend before she could even meet him. In a way, she was SIMPing for Robin, which she was aware about but didn't bother to hide it.

"I'll leave right away. I'll see you at Comic Con." stated Cathrin. When Robin hung up, he was already in the comic con parking space. Myrene and Sigret both debuted their first cosplay, which was them dressing up as themselves.

As Robin entered the convention, people came flocking in towards the three to take pictures. Both Sigret and Myrene were in their original attire and it was the only place where they both will be revered as Goddesses. In fact, many people came to take pictures with Robin too as he almost did a perfect cosplay of Geralt and he even managed to speak in a deep voice which made many of the people who came for the conventions jump in exhilaration.

Of course, the three along with taking pictures, roamed around the convention and bought some merchs which he liked. He was a nerd to begin with so conventions like these was his dream place. In about half an hour, Cathrin had also arrived and called Robin.

Little did Cathrin know that meeting Robin would change her life forever.
