Amidst the burnt trees of the jungle, the squirrel watched. The human had arrived at his ship moments before him (yeah sorry I totally lied in the previous chapter when I said they arrived at the same time lol) and was banging on the door trying to open it because the fool didn’t have the keys.
Now the squirrel was stuck in a little bit of a predicament. He wanted to blast Plagiarize to pieces with the Yalmton Bracelet, but Plagiarize was standing directly in front of his spaceship, and hitting that thing with a laser was probably not the best idea. And so the squirrel sat and waited.
Plagiarize, after seeing that he definitely wasn’t going to get into the ship, decided that the best course of action was to sit down in front of the door and wait for the squirrel to show up. And so there they both sat, each one waiting for the other one to do something.
The squirrel, seeing this, put his brain to use. He dashed off through the burnt jungle until he was a good distance away. Then he shot a laser with the Yalmton Bracelet so that it narrowly missed both Plagiarize and his spaceship. His plan was to lure the human off into the jungle a safe distance away, and then zap him with the Yalmton Bracelet and fly away in the ship. Things didn’t happen quite that way, though.
Plagiarize, seeing the laser, ran behind the ship because he didn’t want to get zapped. After waiting a few seconds, he absorbed some of the Energy Cube’s power in his hands and poked them around the corner of the ship in the direction that the Yalmton laser came from. An energy beam shot from his hands towards that area, but the squirrel was not there anymore. Plagiarize wasn’t at the front door of the ship anymore, and that’s all that the squirrel needed. He unlocked it with his keys and stepped right inside, locking it again behind him.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
“SQUIRREL!!” yelled Plagiarize from outside, having heard the door shut. He started banging on the side of the ship. “OPEN UP!!”
“If you don’t get away from my ship in 2 seconds I’ll BLAST YOU TO BITS WITH ITS WEAPONS!!” shouted the squirrel from inside the ship.
“Your ship doesn’t have any weapons! And if you don’t get out of it right now, I’ll destroy it with the Energy Cube that you left behind!”
“You wouldn’t destroy this ship, it’s your ONLY WAY OFF THIS PLANET!!”
The squirrel had finally managed to stump Plagiarize with this statement. He would not be destroying the squirrel’s ship because then he and the rest of the gang would be trapped on the planet with no hope of escaping unless discovered by the Bearmy. And before the human had time to even respond to the squirrel, his ship had lifted off the ground and was headed towards the Pyramid of Corn.
