Everyone once again decided that now was a good time to run away from the dragons. Plagiarize thought about shooting fire at the dragons using his gem but came to the conclusion that it probably wasn’t the smartest idea he’d ever had. Luckily, he was still on the back of Gumpton along with Hoofa so he didn’t need to run. Except he didn’t need to run regardless due to his immunity to fire. But the dragons could resort to using claws or teeth if they realized fire didn’t work.

Since this place was really dark, the dragons soon lost sight of everyone. Except for Plagiarize, Hoofa, and Gumpton, because Plagiarize’s Fire Gem was glowing. Hoofa started shooting her mouse-mech gun at the dragons, but it shot hot lasers and dragons are immune to heat damage. As a response, one of the dragons ate her gun. NOOOOOOOOOO!!! This was a very sad happenstance that would dramatically affect Hoofa’s character within the upcoming 2 words.

“Aw man!” said Hoofa. “That was my gun!”

“Well you’re a stupid idiot who shouldn’t have used it,” said the dragon. “And I’m going to eat you now. But first I am going to cook you.”

The dragon attempted to unleash a wave of fire upon Hoofa and her elephant and Plagiarize. However, all that came out was a barrel. Hoofa gasped.

“It’s that one barrel from your Life Story!” declared she, the dog.

“What?” asked Plagiarize, who was not there when the life story of the dragon was being told.

“Curses!” said the dragon. “I suppose you were not here for the life story and therefore do not know what we are talking about.”

“Yeah, I really don’t,” said Plagiarize.

“Well it has to do with why my brother and I were kicked out of our dimension. All due to this one place called Bear Roll. The gist is that we were told to not go there. We went there. The ruins of Bear Roll then fell apart because the reason nobody was supposed to go there was because they were such ancient ruins that if anyone went there, they would instantly fall apart. We were exiled for our crimes and I was cursed with an ancient curse placed upon Bear Roll. You see, the ancient curse states as follows: ‘He who destroys the sacred and not-currently-ruined Bear Roll will be cursed with the Curse of Bear Roll.’”

“And what did that curse do?” asked Plagiarize the inquisitive.

“Among other things, every time I try to shoot fire, a harmless barrel comes out instead, but every time I try to shoot fire, I am cursed to always think it will work.”

“And why did one of you come out of a portal with 3 giant spikes?” asked Klumpkrump. Everyone was now gathered together in the same spot and the other dragon was here as well. “And why didn’t you guys come through the same portal?”

“As a matter of fact, we originally did,” said dragon 1. “There’s a whole different part of our story involving us going back into the dimension.”

“May we hear it?” asked Klumpkrump.

“No, because we still have to kill you.”

“I have an offer!” offered Plagiarize.

“Oy?”

“If we go back in that dimension and convince them to let you back, you should consider not killing us.”

“That is an excellent idea.”

And thus it was decided that the gang would be completely sidetracked from their current quest in order to do an entirely different quest so that they would not be killed by 2 big and dangerous dragons. Don’t worry, though; this quest will probably not last very long at all.
