“So now what?” asked Snorter, clinging to a branch in the tree where everyone except Qaeron still hung.
“Let’s follow them!!” said Plagiarize, jumping down to the ground and nearly breaking his legs because he was, like, 6 meters up. Everyone else climbed their way to the ground and Plagiarize waited with Qaeron for them.
Meanwhile, their squirrel companion was running madly through the jungle as the pack of squettles chased after him - now there were more that had arrived and were chasing him from the trees as well. He suddenly saw squettles climbing down the trunks of trees in front of him and veered left, face-first into a vine. He stumbled and the Energy Cubes tumbled onto the ground in front of him.
The squirrel tried to get up and grab the cubes but the squettles caught up to him. They tried to lift him up to carry him away, but the squirrel punched one of them with the hand that the Balongus bracelet was on. The punched squettle was knocked backwards super far through the air and forcefully smacked into a tree. The other squettles, who were about to grab the squirrel, reconsidered. Instead, they reverted to Plan B: each of them grabbed a spear that was tied behind their backs with which to attack the squirrel from a distance.

A bunch of spears lunged at the squirrel. He dodged them by rolling. He quickly got to his feet and the chase continued, but he did not have enough time to grab the Energy Cubes. One of the squettles picked them up.
The squirrel continued to run for his life as the squettles chased him. Thrown spears whizzed past his head. More squettles occasionally joined the chase from within the jungle. The squirrel leaped for a tree, grabbed onto its trunk, and began scrambling up the bark. He was quickly joined by dozens of squettles. Meanwhile, more squettles were climbing adjacent trees. They hopped over to the tree that the squirrel was on and climbed down from above him. The squirrel saw this and countered it by leaping off the tree and plummeting down to the ground where a large group of squettles was waiting to catch him. Before he knew it, he was captured in a cage made of sticks and vines and was being carried away by the squettles to an unknown location.
