Chapter 30: The Verdicts

Everyone was freaking the heck out in the Bourtroom. Tables, chairs, and butter were flying everywhere.

“ORDER IN THE BOURT!” yelled the Bear Judge.

“Hamburger, fries, and a coke, please,” said Plagiarize.

The Bear Judge pulled open an extremely large square-shaped drawer which was disproportionately short in height compared to its width and length. Inside was a gong. He banged it, which got everyone’s attention.

“Sit down, everyone,” said the Budje. Every bear in the room immediately sat down at the chair and/or stick of butter nearest to them. “Let us continue. Bear Jury, please make a decision.”

Now the final part of Bourt began: the voting. For Mushpuff, Bird, Plagiarize, Snorter, and Klumpkrump, the jury voted NOT GUILTY. For Hoofa, Gumpton, and Qaeron, the jury voted GUILTY.

“Cats 1 and 2 and the penguin, you are not guilty because the killing of the bears in the pit was an act of heroism because they were enemies of the state, and all further incidents were caused because of the constant pursuit of the Bearmy,” explained the judge. “You will be welcomed as allies of the bears of Bear Stone Planet, yes?”

Stolen novel; please report.

The Bourtroom was filled with cheers and applause.

“However, the dog and elephant are guilty for the murder of an innocent bear and will be sentenced to 30 years of Brison each. Qaeron is guilty for the murder of the Bear Queen, and shall be executed.”

The Bourtroom was filled with cheers. A guillotine was carried in by two muscular bears and placed in the middle of the Bourtroom.

“Qaeron the bear, please get executed now,” said the Budje.

“Qaeron is innozent, yez?” shouted Qaeron. “Mmmm, he did not know the queen would die, yez!”

The muscular bears walked up to Qaeron, lifted him out of his seat, and started carrying him down the aisle to the guillotine when all of a sudden the doors of the Bourtroom banged shut and then banged open again, for the third dramatic entrance of the trial/s. You’ll never guess who walked in. It was none other than the BEAR QUEEN herself. The Bourtroom was filled with shocked gasps for the fourth time, this time nearly shattering the fabric of Beareality because of how loud it was.

“Bears and gentlemen of the jury,” said the Bear Queen, “that bear is innocent!”

“How???” replied the Bear Judge and several other bears in the room.

“Everyone thinks he killed me,” explained the queen, “but he actually didn’t. That was actually my identical sister, Grazer, who was evil and corrupt as well as an ENEMY of the STATE. Bear Judge and bears of the jury, I sentence you to death for sentencing an innocent bear to death.”

And so it was decided that the Bear Judge and Bear Jury would be sentenced to death, and the Bear Queen excused Qaeron, Hoofa, and Gumpton of their crimes.
