The shot that the bears fired at the rock spaceship went towards Klumpkrump, but it hit her paws and was vaporized by the energy beam. Rather anticlimactic, I know. The bear observation ship saw this and sent more Bearmy ships, but by the time they got there, the gang was long gone. They had blasted off into space in search of Smack-Smork.
By the time Mushpuff, Bird, Plagiarize, Snorter, Hoofa, and Klumpkrump arrived on Smack-Smork, two weeks had passed. When Bird landed the ship, everyone looked out the windows and saw a whole lot of snow. The sky was cloudy and snow was falling very fast. Visibility was very low.
“It sure looks cold out there,” said Plagiarize.
“Maybe we should just fly the ship around and see if there’s anything here,” suggested Mushpuff.
“I agree with that idea,” said Klumpkrump.
And so it was decided that they would slowly fly around near the surface of the planet and look for anything of use. For the first few minutes, it was just snow. A whole lotta snow. Then, all of a sudden, there was a bear in the snow! He was laying with his back to the sky and looked rather dead, but as Bird was just about to pilot the ship away, the bear turned and looked at them.
“Omg guys what should we do??” asked Bird to the gang.
“Let’s see what the bear has to say and then we kill him if we have to,” suggested Mushpuff.
“Sound good to me,” said Klumpkrump.
“Literally what if the bear kills us?” asked Hoofa.
“Then we’ll die,” responded Klumpkrump.
“Okay let’s do it!!” said Hoofa.
“This will end well,” said Mushpuff.
The doors of the rock spaceship opened and Mushpuff, Bird, Plagiarize, Snorter, Hoofa, Gumpton, and Klumpkrump all walked out in a really cool and dramatic way before everyone except Bird instantly turned around and bolted back inside due to the cold.
The bear was once again face down in the snow as Bird approached it.
“Yo, bear,” said Bird. Upon hearing this, the bear looked up at him.

“Mmmm, zmall bird, yez?” said the bear in an odd voice. “Bird is my friend?”
“Uhhh… what?” asked Bird. “Who are you and why are you here?”
“Mmmm, my name is Qaeron, yez? But, hmmm, do not miztake me for fruit, oh no! Many people think Qaeron the bear is a fruit, awww! It makez a bear zad!”
“Okay, very interesting,” said Bird. “How did you get here? And why are you face down in the snow?”
“Mmmm, znow is very interezting, yez? The bear likez to look at it. It makez a bear happy!”
“Okay but literally why are you here?” asked Bird.
“It is a long ztory and, mmmm, Qaeron is cold, oh no!”
“I’ll take you into our ship, then,” said Bird. “As long as you don’t kill any of us.”
“Qaeron shall not kill, yez,” said the bear.
Mushpuff, Plagiarize, Snorter, Hoofa, and Klumpkrump watched fearfully as Bird led the bear into their spaceship. When everyone was safely sitting down (Qaeron squashed one of the couches in the living room), Qaeron began to tell his tale.
“Mmmm, well, a long time ago,” began Qaeron, “I was on Bear Ztone Planet, yez? But the bears, mmmm, they did not like me, oh no! They ztole Qaeron’s locket and, hmmm, banished him, yez? But I znuck back and tried to zteal my locket back. I followed many zpace missions, yez, and onze I fell out of the ship and a lot of weird things happened, but Qaeron found his way back, yez. Mmmm, but they found me eventually, oh no, found me on their ship and threw me onto thiz planet to die!”
“Man, those bears really suck,” said Plagiarize.
“Yo, do you know what happened here? As in on Smack-Smork? And why there’s, like, nothing here, yo?” Hoofa asked Qaeron.
“Mmmm, Qaeron does not know, no?”
“Darn,” responded Hoofa.
“Well, I have a once in a lifetime offer for you,” said Bird.
“Hmmm?” hmm’d Qaeron.
“Join us on our quest, yo!”
“Qaeron will join his friends, yez!” said Qaeron.
Just then there was a great big rumbling sound, accompanied by the entire spaceship shaking.
“I wonder what that could be at this specific hour,” shouted Plagiarize over the rumbling.
“Let’s see!” shouted Mushpuff, going to the window conveniently located on the wall facing the direction of the rumbling. Everyone followed closely behind him.
A giant metal circular door was opening on the ground before their eyes. It was previously completely covered in snow, hiding it from visibility, but now the snow had all fallen off. Eventually the door had finished opening and stopped in its place.
“Well that was certainly unusual,” said Plagiarize. “I wonder w--”
Then, from out of the big hole that nobody could see down because they were viewing it from low to the ground, a bipedal lizard about the size of Mushpuff (size of a cat) walked up.
