My Amazing Unique Class
94. The Spirit Mother

94. The Spirit Mother

As they stood outside the library, Lily looked at Violet and Arba. She needed to visit Amenale and Sanszhin to get eternal life, unlock cleric class and hand over the package from Goddess Theia. Did she need to bring them with her, or should she go alone?

With Violet's ability, they had managed to get through the undead area unscathed and without offending anyone.

When Violet saw what she was considering she hurried to say, “My lady. You need us or at least Arba. You're still not strong enough. Remember you do not have eternal life.”

Lily felt a twinge in her heart when she heard the word 'eternal life' and was reminded of it again.

“Thanks for the reminder, Violet. Come let's go to Amenale.” she said.

Since William lived in Sanszhin, she planned to accompany him there when she got back to her mansion in Kahrlin where he was waiting for her.

As they flew, she called him.

"Lily, are you done soon?" asked William, who took the call immediately.

She told him about her plan and agreed to go home after she had visited Amenale. She was surprised that he didn't scold her like before.

"It's good you're not wasting time now." he said and hung up.

A moment ago Lily thought he wasn't mad at her but why did his words sound so harsh to her ears or was she just over thinking it.

When they got to Amenale the system showed a white road ahead of them and they flew towards the Holy Temple. Lily was relieved that Goddess Hebe also lived there because then she didn't have to travel around to other places.

20 minutes later they saw a large forest where there was a white temple with two domes in the middle. It was rectangular and was surrounded by a garden without a fence. There were wild magical animals that walked around the garden and it looked like they lived there. There were people walking outside doing activities and it looked lively.

They landed in front of the garden and Jun De immediately went over to the animals and laid down on the grass and closed his eyes. The red bird had perched on his head.

Lily looked at Violet and Arba and said, "Wait here." and went towards the entrance of the temple.

On the way there, she bowed to people and behaved humbly in case she offended someone unknowingly. When she got inside, she stood in a large hall and didn't know where to start because there were far too many rooms. She saw a young woman nearby wearing a white kimono. Her black hair was put up in a bun with a red bow and she had a white flower in her hair. She was wearing white pearl earrings and was small and petite.

"Excuse me but I came to take a cleric test." Lily said, looking at her.

" Tch." The woman said, looking offended, and went on her way.

Wow, Lily knew her lvl was low, but she had never been rejected in a holy temple before but sooner or later it was going to happen.

She didn't give up and walked over to another young woman who had short shoulder length blonde hair, blue eyes and who was wearing a long white dress and her shoulders were covered by a purple cape. Lily was absolutely smitten with it because she loved purple, especially when it came to clothes.

The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

“Your cloak is incredibly beautiful.” she said, admiring it because she meant it.

"Thank you. Can I help you with something?" The woman said, smiling kindly at her.

Glad she wasn't rejected, Lily replied, “I'm looking for a way to unlock cleric class, eternal life and I also have a package.”

"When you have passed your tests of the system you can get eternal life." said the woman.

Lily didn't know what the tests were, and she doubted it was about who could take advantage of her the most. Unfortunately, she couldn't use that answer for anything as her system didn't give her any reward or it didn't quite fit. She had gotten Kenta out of it but that was the only thing she could think of besides things that were in the system itself. The titles and skill books came from libraries, deities and other persons.

“Okay, in that case you can drop off this package from Goddess Theia. I don't know who it should be handed over to.” she said but as she was about to take out the package the woman said, "Come with me." and was surprised.

As they walked the woman said softly to Lily, “There is no one who can come near Goddess Theia as she is a goddess so if she has sent you, it means you are destined for something.”

Lily had no idea what she was raving about but she knew about fortune telling and people who believed in fate and prophecies, but she didn't believe in any of that shit.

5 minutes later she was standing in a large hall where in the middle was a huge white stone statue that was more than 5 meters high. It was a woman who had long hair down to her bum, who was slim and tall. She kept her right hand on her right hip, and it looked like she was posing for a camera, and it looked like she was enjoying it and was reminded of a Hollywood star. She was wearing a pearl necklace and her dress was short sleeved and she had beautiful perfect shapes and looked very beautiful.

"Who is that?" she asked curiously.

"It’s the Mother of Spirits also known as Spirit Mother. Wait here." Answered the woman and walked away.

Lily wasn't going to waste time and looked around, looking at everything she could spot. That statue was so big that it was obvious that it was an important person whom everyone worshipped.

"Help." said a woman's voice suddenly and Lily was confused and looked around to see who had called for help.

Seeing no one she ignored it but as she was about to move, she heard the voice calling again, "Help me."

Lily was afraid of ghosts and spirits, and she was currently in The Spirit World and was terrified and was afraid to shit or piss her pants in fright.

Was it a ghost, a soul or an evil spirit that was watching her and had chosen to play a trick?

She chose to call Ace in case she would die but to her shock she heard:

You are in the Holy Temple. All contact with the outside world is prohibited

Damn, she resented having her system now.

"Help me. I'm not doing anything to you. Hurry up." said the voice again but this time very faintly.

Okay, Lily pulled together because it was a woman in need whether she was dead or alive and women had to stand together. She took a deep breath and followed the voice.

She had no idea what she had gotten herself into and took Azael's cloak immediately, hoping that it would protect her if it finally came to that. Luckily, she had Kenta with her who calmed her down a bit because then she wasn't completely alone. She found a large bright room where there was a hole in the roof where in the middle stood a statue of a woman, but the head was missing. The body was tall and slim, and she was wearing a long-sleeved dress. Her hair went over her bum, and she had great shape.

It almost looked like a copy of the other statue in the hall but why was this one hidden away?

She slowly walked up to it and could see that it was made of gray granite stone and there were several cracks in the statue, and it was clear that no one had visited it for many years.

She was confused because she didn't know if it was this statue that had called her or another person who was just bored and wanted to play hide and seek. It was a temple so the other was impossible.

She touched the statue and to her surprise it felt warm, and she looked at it in amazement.

"You are not cold even if you are made of stone." she said, smiling.

Was it strange that she had a conversation with a stone?

No, it was quite normal in the world to sometimes argue with yourself, things and pets. Suddenly tears began to roll down her cheeks and she was confused and startled and immediately removed her hand.

That statue gave her a nostalgic feeling, but she couldn't explain it. She had grown up with humans and everyone around her was human but why did she feel close to a statue she had never seen before.

"Do not worry. I'll come back and fix you one day.” she said, smiling at it.

She went back to the hall by the huge statue and waited.
