When Lily awoke, she saw William still lying next to her with his eyes closed. She studied his face more closely and was again surprised at how beautiful he was. He didn't radiate anything divine like Eco, but he would be considered a god to the people here. She was reminded of Ace who was also a beautiful man and wondered what he was doing right now. He was the first man she had really been with, and he had even treated her with respect so that meant something to her.
She gently poked William's cheek with her right index finger, but he was still asleep and chose to move right up to his face to get a closer look. Suddenly he moved his face and kissed her on the lips.
She was surprised and said, “You are cunning.”
"It was worth it." William said, opening his eyes and wearing a devilish smile.
He pulled her close and hugged her and said, "Lie with me for a few minutes before we get up." for he did not know when he would see her again.
Lily smiled and closed her eyes. She could smell his scent and it was pleasant to her nose. She was relieved that he didn't wear perfume because she didn't care for it. She wondered if it was normal for naturally handsome men to naturally smell good.
Later it was around 10 o'clock when they got up and both took a bath but not at the same time even though William insisted.
Lily didn't know why he was so interested in her when there were so many beautiful women in the world. She remembered the woman named Amelia and the brown haired one sitting next to her. They were both very beautiful but still couldn't match the woman in the library in Amenale who was crazy about Ace and Cyrene was also beautiful. She was only lucky that Eco was interested in her because he had a hen to pluck with her system.
As they ate breakfast Lily looked at Fergus and Camelia who were sitting next to each other. She didn't want to separate them, but she had gotten a deed in Kahrlin and Labunagaan and Fergus lived here since the Guild Dancing Dragons had their main base here.
"I have a deed to a place in Kahrlin and Labunagaan so I don't know what your plans are Fergus." she said.
"I originally lived alone and spent my days drinking because I was missing something important in my life and I have found that person." Fergus said, smiling.
Lily looked at William, who was sitting next to her, who didn't say anything so that meant Fergus was planning to go with her.
Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.
"Right now, I don't know where I want to live permanently but Kahrlin seemed peaceful so let's start there." she said.
Since they were not connected to nature, she hoped to learn more about the Spirit Mother they had celebrated that day. She wanted to see if her sister's soul was somewhere she could revive. She was reminded of the man from yesterday and looked at William who had done something to the man's body.
"Is he really dead?" she asked nervously.
William knew what she was referring to and replied, “Yes and no. What I had was a soul orb which can store souls, but it can only be used within 1 hour.”
Lily knew the meaning behind his words so if she had called him 1 hour later the man was dead.
"Why do you have one like that?" she asked curiously.
"It’s a privilege a guild master position has. It’s to save the souls of people in one's guild. When we hand them over to a soul lord, they revive the person.” William replied.
Wow, so all guild masters were some kind of God in this world.
It made sense but it sounded completely crazy to her ears.
Wait a minute, did that mean anyone and everyone could get that orb?
When William saw what she was thinking he said, "You have to meet certain requirements besides being a guild master so only the biggest guilds have one."
Lily was relieved when she heard that because it wouldn't make sense if people could exploit that position just to have a soul orb. She knew such types existed in the world and wouldn't be surprised if someone had tried it back then.
“So, there are some benefits to being a guild master besides just having a position.” she said, now admiring him.
“I hope I have impressed you.” he said, his cheeks blushing.
"You are incredible. I suddenly see you in a completely different light.” she complimented, smiling because she really meant it.
Fergus looked at them both and could see immediately what was going on between them. So, his guild master had fallen head over heels for her, but he knew her personality all too well. He sighed and shook his head and continued eating.
Lily was reminded of Baba Yaga's words that her Bloody Worms could not be revived and thought of the Boss Lord Diablo that her Devil's Servant had killed with that orb.
She asked nervously, “Uhm, Boss Lord Diablo. Has he spawned?”
"Yes why?" William replied, looking at her in surprise.
Lily was happy when she heard that and was relieved, but it meant that bosses in dungeons were under different rules, or it had something to do with their status. She had to check out the Aqua King when she got back to Amenale.
"I was just curious." she answered.
When she got time, she had to revive the other monsters she had killed to level up because now she felt guilty. She wasn't a killer and thought it was all just a game. That meant she couldn't kill monsters to level up, but she didn't need to either. She could now only increase in lvl by unlocking more Hidden classes.
"If we can visit the doctor first, then we can look at housing afterwards." she said, looking at William again.
"Of course. Since the festival is coming soon, everyone is busy preparing for it.” he answered.
She was reminded of Rosie when he mentioned it and was sure it was the same festival since they lived in the same town.
