139. Promoted To Blacksmith

139. Promoted To Blacksmith

When they stood in front of a large black building that was for blacksmiths, Lily looked at William because she knew that only blacksmiths could enter there.

William who noticed her look said, "I have blacksmith, or I wouldn't have come with you."

Lily was surprised that he actually had a subclass and even blacksmith. She wondered if he was an excellent and well-known blacksmith and suddenly saw him in a different light.

They went inside and this time there were 3 people at the counter. There were 2 men and a woman and when Lily saw her, she was reminded of Zaila who was also a female blacksmith. She was wearing a long green dress, shoulder length brown hair and freckles. She had dark eyes, light brown skin and was tall and slightly chubby and had a friendly smile.

Lily immediately walked over to her and said, "I'd like to book a room..." but before she could continue her sentence, William cut her off, "Give us the best room."

Ugh, she looked at him and thought he was crazy. It was insanely expensive, and she couldn't afford the most expensive room. Before she could refuse, the woman gave them a large gold key which William took immediately.

“What an honor to see you here. It has been a very long time. You get the usual room.” she said smiling at him.

They went to the far back of the room and went up a flight of stairs to the right and continued up to the 2nd floor which had a bunch of red doors with numbers printed in gold. They went to number 2 and William inserted the key and opened the door.

Lily thought she was dreaming when she looked inside. They were standing in a large garden where the sky was blue, and the sun was shining, and the air was warm and pleasant. There was a large cornfield and further back was a forest. To the left was a green pagoda which had a small pond with beautiful large lotus flowers. To the right were various types of furnaces with tables and tools and there was even a stone oven that Lily recognized as something belonging to a kitchen. There was a small house and outside there was a table with chairs.

“Is this a room or illusion?” she asked in surprise and stepped inside.

“It's real. It’s a kind of portal to another world.” William said, stepping inside.

“Wow. It’s beautiful. You have good style and taste.” she complimented and walked over to a table and sat down studying the various tools.

She was not a handy man and could not even pump a bicycle. She recognized a large black pair of pliers and a hammer and there was a pair of large green and black gloves that looked like they were made of metal. She held the smallest hammer made of gold which was the size of a tablespoon. She didn't think it weighed anything but when she tried to lift it, she was surprised how heavy it was. She couldn't lift it at all and didn't dare lift the other things. She was annoyed because it meant she couldn't use her blacksmith skill if she couldn't touch these tools.

She looked at William and asked, "How do you do it?"

"It's like when you were making clothes, but first you have to be able to lift these tools." he answered.

“And how do you do that? I can't even lift that mini hammer.” Lily said awkwardly.

William coughed and said, “Since this is my room, it’s designed for my needs only. Those who have unlocked plate class can automatically lift those tools.”

Lily wasn't surprised when she heard him since it was his room so that meant she had to unlock a plate class to use those things. Since it was his room it meant it was free for her to use and therefore it was stupid to pay for the other expensive rooms.

"Can I use this room in the future and is there a similar one in other parts of the world?" she asked curiously.

William took out a small gold stone with ancient symbols engraved and gave it to her, explaining, "If you show them this in the other blacksmiths, you will automatically get my room or something similar and you can use them for free."

Lily was about to accept it, but she didn't want to take advantage of him but since he offered it to her, she wouldn't refuse.

“Thank you, my incredible husband.” she said standing on her toes and kissing him.

She looked at the tools again and was reminded that she had gotten Divine Tier blacksmith skills from Garret's book but didn't know what that meant exactly.

She sat down again and closed her eyes and suddenly she saw a lot of flames in different colors appear in her head. She didn't know if they had an intelligence and didn't want to force them.

Help me, she said to herself and suddenly she felt her body getting warm and opened her eyes. She saw to her surprise her hands were in flames with all kinds of colors combined and it looked like rainbow flames.

“Wow. You have visited The Sacred Land.” William said, sitting down next to her.

"I was lucky." Lily answered honestly.

She opened her inventory and took out the Fire Kylin and The Demonic Fire Dragon scrolls for weapons. She wanted to make one for William and Ace but didn't want them to have the same thing.

She knew that for Tailor you had to upgrade your skill first before you could make clothes and looked at William and asked, "Which one of the tools is for upgrading as a starter?"

William took the small gold hammer and placed it in front of her and she nodded.

She activated the Divine Tier skill and hoped that it would help her success rate. She held the hammer with her right hand still surrounded by flames and to her surprise she was able to lift it. It felt light as a feather and she was amazed. William placed a small gold sword in front of her and she knew what it meant. She started hammering on the sword and heard a clanging sound and sparks flew around.

Your blacksmith skill is increased by 1%.

She hammered once more:

Your blacksmith skill is increased by 1%.

She hammered 5 times in a row:

Your blacksmith skill is increased by 1%.

Your blacksmith skill is increased by 1%.

Your blacksmith skill is increased by 1%.

Your blacksmith skill is increased by 1%.

Your blacksmith skill is increased by 1%.

She should have failed and thought it was because she had received the Divine Tier skill and hammered away because she experienced no cooldown which she was relieved about.

Shortly after she finished hammering and was happy when she heard the message:

Congratulations. You have now been promoted to a real blacksmith. You can now make your own weapons.

“Congratulations .” Said William and gave her a glass of lemonade.

Afraid her flames would destroy the glass, Lily asked for a straw, which he fetched immediately.
