In a small living room at a round table sat Lily, who was a 32-year-old woman, waiting for her mother to appear. She had long black hair down to her bum and was a beautiful woman. Her skin was pale because she had only seen the sunlight through the windows. She had dark brown eyes and was petite and slim.
She looked at the door and wanted to run away but knew there was no way out.
When her father died mysteriously, her mother found a new husband who was the worst monster she had ever met. Both she and her mother had lived in captivity ever since then and it was fortunate that her sister had moved to another country for education at that time. She hadn't been outside of this room in over 15 years and had instead buried herself in books to escape her reality.
She was lucky that the man hadn't touched her even though she could see his clammy eyes on her body every time he saw her. She was lucky that her mother did everything to get his attention.
She had sneaked a letter out to one of the man's henchmen who was a young guy who was new and didn't know the rules of this residence but it was only to her luck. She hoped that her sister had received the letter and she had put on the nice clothes in the hope that her mother had found a method to persuade the man.
Suddenly she heard a lot of clicking sounds of locks being unlocked and she saw a woman enter the door. Behind her stood a middle-aged man with a big beer belly with black stubble and he reeked of alcohol. The man looked at her with his disgusting eyes and licked his mouth.
"Thanks darling." Her mother said, kissing the man and closing the door.
To Lily's surprise, she didn't hear the locks close and looked at her mother with admiration.
"How did you persuade him?" she asked.
Her mother looked at her with sad eyes and replied, “There was only one way he would accept it. You know the answer but now you have been promised to go outside so don't waste time now. Promise me to come back tonight or you will know the consequences.”
Lily knew immediately what her mother had bargained with and she hoped that a rich strong man would come and save her. She sighed and went to her mother and hugged her.
"Thank you, mom." she said, smiling.
She put on her long black coat and opened the door but before she went out she turned and looked at her mother and said, "Can't you just curse him and hope the gods or the devil hear you."
Her mother smiled and replied, “Now get going so you won't be late. "
Lily went out the door and ran outside. She looked at the big house and saw people busy tending to it. There was a gardener who was bent over and tending weeds.
No one stopped her because she had been given permission to leave the house. She hoped she would never have to go back to that but knew she couldn't leave her mother alone with that man. She ran out into the road and took the nearest bus and drove into town. After 10 minutes she got off the bus and walked towards a café where she saw a young man and two young women. She was pleasantly surprised when she saw the one woman because it was her sister.

She walked up to her and hugged her and said, "Happy birthday sister."
The woman smiled and looked at her and said, “You look thin. Do you get to eat properly?”
"I am on a diet." Lily lied and smiled.
They all went into the café and sat down and ordered food. After they had eaten they stood outside the café looking at each other.
“Let's go to the beach. The weather is lovely today.” said her sister.
They went to the parking lot and got into her car and drove away. Lily knew there was a long way to the beach and they had to go through a forest to get there.
When they had been driving for some time the young fellow began to complain, "I have a sudden pain in my heart."
The others looked at him and the woman next to him said, "You ate way too fast."
But suddenly she held her heart and complained, "I'm suddenly in pain too. Can we stop.”
Her sister stopped the car and Lily saw that they were surrounded by a forest. They all got out of the car and the woman and the guy sat down on the ground.
Her sister looked at Lily and said, "The beach is over there so let's go there."
Lily nodded and they helped the woman and the guy up and they walked towards the beach. After walking for 2 minutes, the two started coughing terribly and Lily and her sister released them with shock. The two landed on the ground and coughed violently, holding their hands around their necks. Suddenly they threw up something purple sticky and Lily could smell something fishy. The 2 fell to the ground and stopped coughing and it was completely quiet and they could only hear the animals in the forest.
Lily didn't panic because she had experienced quite a few things in the 15 years she had lived with that man. She went to them and put two fingers under their noses and found that they were not breathing.
"They are dead." she said standing up and looking at her sister.
“What the fuck are we going to do? We’ll be arrested by the police for murder.” her sister said nervously.
Lily knew that only that man could help them and since her mother had used her as a bargain he would surely do anything for her.
"I have a way out, but we have to go back." she said.
Her sister looked at the two dead people and asked, “Do we just leave them like this?”
"Yes, as I said, I have a way out, but we have to leave now if we are to succeed." Lily replied.
They held each other's arms and hurried back to the car. When they could see it far ahead they suddenly heard the sound of someone stepping on branches and stopped and looked around.
"What if it's a bear." her sister whispered nervously.
Lily knew that there were no bears living here so it could only be people who also happened to be in the forest today.
“Great scouting. It will be our first prey.” said a woman's voice suddenly.
Lily and her sister turned to see five young people standing two meters away from them. There were 2 boys and 3 girls and they looked to be 14-15 years old. They were all dressed in punk clothes and one of them had short green hair and a lot of piercings and tattoos all over his head.
She wondered if they had a cult or something.
"What do you want?" she asked nervously.
The girl with all the piercings and tattoos replied, "We're hunting."
Lily immediately knew what that meant and warned them, "My mother is a priestess and will curse you 100,000 years into the future if you dare touch us."
The girl smiled and said, “Little kittens. Your blood smells wonderful.”
She opened her mouth and to Lily's surprise and shock she saw vampire teeth and suddenly the other youngsters opened their mouths and saw that they too had vampire teeth.
"Run." she whispered to her sister and took her hand and ran.
They ran as fast as possible in panic and anxiety. Lily was sure it was a cult they had encountered and that they were murderers because vampires did not exist in this world. Suddenly she felt a blow on her head and someone had bitten into her neck. She felt pain throughout her body and suddenly everything went black for her.
