When they arrived in town, Lily was surprised that there were so many people present. There was life in the streets, she heard music from everywhere and it looked like people were partying and she could see a procession much further ahead. She saw some carrying around figures she didn't recognize, wearing what looked like royal clothing. There were also people beating drums that hung in front of them.
She looked at Fergus and asked, "Anything special happening today?"
“They celebrate the Spirit Mother. It’s a festival that lasts the whole week.” replied Fergus standing next to Camelia.
"Why is she so special?" Lily asked curiously.
"She is said to have brought life to the whole world." he answered.
Lily was confused by his explanation because she thought life was Flow so did that mean there was a woman who could control it?
It sounded strange to her ears, but she didn't ask any more about it as there was so much that didn't make sense in this new world. She was familiar with festivals because in Japan they had almost a festival every month for everything.
She looked at Jun De and Pegasus and said, “We'd better place them here. It’s too crowded with people.”
They walked towards the procession because it was the only way to the good places to eat that Fergus had mentioned but it was so packed with people that Lily was annoyed. She hated people who pushed and people either had bad breath or smelled of sweat or strong perfume. Her nose was incredibly sensitive so the combination of all sorts of smells gathered in one place made her sick and she got nauseous and tried to hold her breath and hid her nose in her cloak.
Suddenly she felt someone push her and when she looked around, she couldn't see Fergus, Camelia, or Violet. Suddenly there was a tall person who pushed her head with the elbow, and she felt a blow on her right side and lost her balance. When she was about to fall over on her side, someone suddenly grabbed her.
"Be careful or you'll hit your head." said a man's voice.
Lily looked up and when she saw the person her eyes widened in shock and surprise.
The man was tall and slim and wore a black hooded cloak. He had medium long black hair, pale skin and his eyes had different colors that looked like a galaxy and there was something mysterious about them. They were so beautiful that she was afraid to stare at them for too long and quickly looked away, blushing.
It was the angel she had kissed whom she refrained from raping for fear that he was Lucifer.
“Thank you for grabbing me. I've already been hit on the head.” she said awkwardly.
"Come." The man said, grabbing her left hand and pulling her out of the crowd.
They walked towards an open park which, to Lily's relief, was not packed with people. There were streetlights and it looked cozy but there weren't many people present and they were probably all at the festival. They sat down on a wooden bench and looked at each other.
Lily didn't know what to say to him because she was afraid, he was awake when she kissed him goodbye. She had never been in such an embarrassing situation before and for the first time she felt shy with a man.
“Thanks for covering for me.” said the man suddenly.
Argh, her face and ears turned red when she heard that and immediately looked away.
So, he was awake but pretending to be asleep. How cunning.
"Sorry I didn't have any clothes for you and sorry I didn't have time to stay with you." she said awkwardly.
"You have nothing to apologize for." said the man, smiling.
Lily was about to open her mouth and apologize for stealing a kiss but suddenly her stomach rumbled loudly and looked at it and became even more embarrassed.
“You must be hungry. I know a good place.” said the man, standing up.
They walked through the park and came across to the other side where there was a stall selling street food. Lily could smell grilled meat and saw an older man standing and skewering meat and vegetables. Her mouth watered and she suddenly became even hungrier.

The man went and bought four pieces of meat skewers and gave 2 of them to Lily. They went back to the park and sat down and ate them in peace.
Lily started eating right away and when she took the first bite it tasted heavenly. Onions and peppers were placed between the pieces of meat, and she loved vegetables.
"My name is Eco." introduced the man suddenly.
Lily looked at him and was about to open her mouth but remembered her annoying system. For the first time she was upset that she had it.
Eco smiled and asked, "What's your name?"
She was confused and didn't know if it was a trick question but chose to answer anyway, "My name is Lily." and was pleasantly surprised when she heard herself say her name.
She looked at him and studied him more closely and was reminded that she thought he was an angel.
Eco smiled again and said, “I'm immune to your system.”
Wow, Lily wanted to hug him in joy when she heard that but they were strangers so that would be wrong.
She smiled widely because she was really happy and could also feel that she was happy.
She could feel that she was happy.
Why hadn't she thought of that before?
She couldn't feel anything when she kissed or touched men or no it was wrong. She remembered feeling Ace and William and even Leo when she kissed him but this one was special because he said he was immune to her system.
“I see you have discovered something good.” Eco said chuckling.
“Yes, you are magical.” she replied, giggling.
In the same park a little way away, there was a little boy holding his mother's hand. He looked at a bench where a woman was sitting alone but she seemed to be enjoying herself.
“Mom, that woman is talking to herself.” He said in a low voice, pointing at her.
“Shush. Come on, that kind of person needs space.” His mother said and they quickly walked away from the park.
When they had finished eating Lily looked at Eco and asked curiously, "Was it by chance that you were here?"
"Yes and no. I found you by tracking your aura.” replied Eco.
Lily had no idea what he was talking about and asked confused, "Is my aura on you or what?"
Eco smiled and leaned forward so their faces were almost touching and replied, "Your kiss."
Argh, Lily blushed again but when she tried to look away, she felt a pair of soft lips kiss her and she was surprised. She relaxed her body because it was nice, and she enjoyed it. Pulling her lips back she licked her mouth and could taste something sweet and the food they had just eaten. She looked at him in surprise because her system had again not locked him as a target but suddenly remembered that he was immune to it.
"It was thanks for not letting me freeze." Eco said smiling at her.
Lily didn't know why he was so interested in her because there were so many other better people in the world than her.
"Why me?" she asked curiously.
“I have a hen to pluck with your system.” Eco replied, suddenly showing a devilish smile.
When she heard him, she was suddenly frightened and panicked and said nervously, "Can you wait to kill me until I have eternal life since I’ve only eaten a defective Philosopher's Stone."
Eco laughed out loud when he heard her and said, "I said system so that means you are not included and why did you eat a defective stone." and looked at her in surprise.
Lily breathed a sigh of relief when she heard his words and guessed it was because she had given him a cloak.
“I was desperate because I don't have eternal life. The system fucks with me all the time and lately it's like it's doing everything to bother me.” Lily said, sighing.
“Try calling it now.” Eco said.
She wondered at his words and said, "System."
To her surprise, she heard nothing answer her and looked at him with admiration.
"How do you do that?" she asked curiously.
“Your system has been hiding because it’s afraid of me or feels guilty. I guess the second.” replied Eco.
Wow, if Lily could hang out with him, she could get away with the system sometimes but she knew a man with his background wasn't normal. Thought if he was a god or something bigger like an overgod if it even existed.
Since the system had hidden from him it meant she couldn't add him as a friend and that really annoyed her. She was suddenly reminded of Nicolas' and Baba Yaga's words that she should be careful not to use it too much.
"Nicolas Flamel and Baba Yaga had warned about it." she said.
"There are many who avoid using it and others use it to their own advantage because they serve the gods, but your system is special as you’ve probably discovered." Eco explained.
Now it made sense in Lily's head why she hadn't received charms from Nicolas Flamel or Baba Yaga nor had she received a title from Baba Yaga even though she revived her plants even though it wasn't a side quest.
She suddenly thought of Fergus, Camelia and Violet and said, "I got separated from my friends."
Eco stood up and held out his right hand and said, “Come. I will take you to them.”
Lily stood up and held his hand and could feel it was warm and she had a nice feeling inside.
"Thanks." she said, smiling goofily.
As they left, Eco said, "I'm surprised you haven't killed yourself countless times with that system." and chuckled.
"Believe me. I wanted to melt it in acid so many times.” Lily said, pouting cutely.
After 2 minutes they were on a big street which had a lot of people, but it wasn't as crowded as the other place.
"At the end of the road they stand." Eco said pointing in front of them.
Lily looked at him and suddenly didn't want to let him go because she didn't know when they would see each other again.
"Thanks." she said because she didn't know what else to say.
Eco smiled and leaned forward and kissed her and she closed her eyes to enjoy it, but it was a short pleasure. When she could no longer feel his lips, she opened her eyes and saw to her disappointment that he was gone. She sighed deeply and started walking towards Fergus and the others.
