When they had been flying for 2 hours Lily got tired of enjoying the view and knew they had to fly for many more days before they reached their destination. She chose to rest her eyes and wanted to take a nap.
She yawned and said, "Wake me up when it's late afternoon and when we're near a town where we can take a break." and closed his eyes and settled into Ace's lap.
Lily was awakened by a gentle voice, "Wake up Lily."
She opened her eyes and rubbed them and saw they were still sitting on the chicken's back. She was also still lying in Ace's lap, wondering if his legs hadn't hurt from that. She sat up and looked around at the others who were awake.
"Didn't you sleep at all?" she asked curiously.
"No. We are far too excited since we’ve never been outside the capital area.” Alicia replied.
Lily knew that people only stayed in the capital because that was where all the major guilds were based and where the best housing existed. It was exactly like in the previous world that the big things and dreams always happened in the capital. When you reached lvl 300 it was endgame so why would people waste time traveling around the countryside where there was nothing to see. It would be seen as a waste of resources and time in the eyes of many and she fully understood them.
"So, was that also a reason why you wanted to travel with me?" she asked.
"Spot on. When you have lived for 10,000 years, there’s nothing that can impress us more.” Alicia replied.
Lily cleared her throat and said, "I hope you haven't joined me to experience action because I can't promise that."
The others started laughing and she didn't know why they thought it was funny. She was serious with her words because they weren't hunting for a bounty or hunting a bloodthirsty man-eating monster or scouting for a cannibal clan.
"Lily, you are an action in yourself, so I don't think we need more than that." Ace chuckled.
"We'll be at a village in 5 minutes mistress." said the chicken suddenly.
Lily was looking forward to stretching her legs and they had been flying for hours now. She looked over the edge and down and saw a lot of dark mountains that had something green on them that resembled mold, but she was sure it was trees. It looked like a jungle, and everything looked lush. As they flew between the mountains, she felt a warm air and confirmed that it was some kind of jungle and now wanted to jump into a lake somewhere and take a bath. Unfortunately, she was afraid of exotic animals and knew to be careful with water in such areas.
Shortly after she saw a large white area which she thought was for harness but when they flew closer, she recognized them as moon flowers. Further on, she saw a green valley and could figure out that the flowers were up on a hill. When they came down into the valley, a large village appeared that looked like something from the Middle Ages. They flew all the way to the village and landed a few meters from the entrance. There was no fence around and it looked peaceful. It was surrounded by tall lush green hills and there were normal animals walking around grazing that they all recognized.

There was a large field on the left which had red, black and white cows grazing and, on the right, there were goats and sheep walking. Further on, by some houses, wild horses were walking around without reins.
Lily was reminded of the land of the former world and felt nostalgic. Her grandparents came from the country and had many acres of land, so she had grown up with all kinds of animals and had later developed a love for them precisely because of those animals.
She dismissed the chicken and gave Arba a black cow mask and they entered the village. It was getting late, but it wasn't dark yet and Lily guessed it would be an hour before darkness fell. Ace held her left hand and she was fine with it. She had used her young face before leaving but strangely Ace and Ezekiel hadn't questioned it. It was a big village, and it was busy, but it didn't look like magic was being used anywhere.
“I assume that no one here has been blessed. They look like normal people.” Lily said looking around.
“As Alicia mentioned. No one has reason to visit anything but the capital anymore.” Ezekiel said.
Lily couldn't save the whole world, but she felt bad knowing that living conditions were divided so much in this new world. If you were strong you lived in luxury and if you were weak you lived with the mob exactly like in the old days.
They rented a small house for themselves, and Lily was surprised at how cheap it was. It cost less than the expensive piece of cake she had eaten when she had bumped into Fergus. They chose to spend the night here and travel tomorrow morning. There were still 3 more days before they reached Crystal Lake. Lily wanted to see the moon flowers up on the hill and they agreed to meet in the center in an hour and have dinner together. Lily, Ace, and Jun De walked towards the mound and Lily had asked Arba to protect Ezekiel and the others.
When they got all the way up the hill Lily ran to the white flowers. She looked around and saw several large fields of moon flowers and on the far left was a gray tombstone with a woman kneeling in front of it. She was wearing black clothes and a black scarf over her head.
They carefully approached her, and Lily asked, "Are you grieving for someone you've lost?"
When the woman heard her, she looked up and stood up and looked at them. She brushed the dust off her clothes. She looked like someone in the Middle Ages and had few wrinkles and dark brown skin. Her eyes were green, and she had dark freckles. She looked exhausted and it looked like she hadn't slept properly in a long time.
She sighed and replied, “My husband died just before the portal came and I’ve tried everything possible to revive him. Unfortunately, I heard a soul lord couldn't do that. Why do they even exist?”
Lily walked over to the headstones and around it and saw that there was a large flower bed with wilted flowers behind it. She looked around and wondered why they were withered when all the other flowers were alive and was reminded of Baba Yaga's plants.
She looked at the woman and asked, "May I ask why you buried him here?"
"It is said that moon flowers can heal a soul so I hoped it could nourish his soul." she replied mournfully.
Ace shook his head and said, “There are some things that are still myths in this new world.”
The woman nodded and agreed, “I have grieved enough. I better go back to the family.” and turned and went down the hill.
Ace looked at Lily and said, "Come on let's see the flowers." and turned and walked towards some other flowers in the opposite direction.
"I’m coming." Lily said but as she was about to leave her eyes fell on the withered flowers again wanting to revive them.
She activated Flow Master but didn't have time to run around reviving them all and remembered Kenta's words from last time. She activated Mother of Life and rushed to Ace, holding his right hand.
Jun De and Kenta looked at the tombstone and at each other but said nothing and hurried to follow Lily.
