When they got inside Lily saw a large gaudy hall that looked like a lounge and there were different rooms all around. It almost looked like a hall in a mini palace, and it shone with expensive things.
Rich pigs, she thought jealously, watching as they walked.
She was afraid of walking into an expensive vase or something else fragile and walked with very careful steps. It would be all her gold if she had to compensate for something she had destroyed otherwise she could always try to resort to that method because William was definitely interested in her.
"I don't know about anything since my parents died when I was born." she said.
"It does not matter. You can just come to me if there is anything.” William said.
"Otherwise, you can ask me or Luck as we are both assistants guild masters.” Ethan said.
When they got to the very end of the hall there was a nice white curved staircase with red fabric on the steps that looked like velvet cushions and it looked quite expensive.
As she was about to step on the first step, she asked, "Do you have to pay if you accidentally destroy stairs such as spilled shit or the like?"
Imagine if she had stepped on a monster of shit or mud.
When the men heard her, they all started laughing out loud and looked at her with funny expressions.
"I've never heard people talk like that before." chuckled Luck.
"It's just stairs and they will be repaired if they need it." William replied with a smile.
He had indeed found an odd ball, but her personality was more interesting and fresh than all the women he knew combined.
They went up the stairs and William said, “There are 50 floors but from the outside it looks like there are only 5 floors and everyone has a view out to the street. It's magic.”
Lily was introduced to the 1st floor and was told that you could either live here if you wanted to hang out with guild mates or housing in the city could be arranged for them.

They owned some different areas, but it was only the top 1000 that had the first right corresponding to one's rank.
So, she had to be strong to be able to enjoy the good places.
It was exactly like in the old human world that if you were rich, you could afford everything.
“I just need a small place to live, but preferably not in this building. Just a room is fine.” she said since she was only supposed to sleep there as she spent most of her time outside.
When the men heard that she did not require more than a room they were surprised and wondered what kind of life she had led.
Ethan was shocked that there was someone who didn't think highly of himself in this world. His mother had named his brother LickMe and he suddenly felt sorry for him.
"We can get…" but before he could continue, William cut him off, "You can stay with me."
Lily and the men stared at him in shock.
There was no way she wanted to live with a stalker who radiated an evil aura, and he would haunt her, and she would not be able to sleep in peace.
"No thanks. Just a room is fine.” she said.
"You can't live in just one room." William said, looking at her.
She was a fragile woman and needed to live in a proper place. Thought if she got sick from living in a shabby place.
Lily stared at him and could tell he was serious.
Why was he so interested in her?
"Just a ... " but William cut her off again, "No. Then you will get a home near me. Is that better?"
Lily couldn't argue with him and could tell he was stubborn as a donkey.
"Okay but only if it's a peaceful place." she said because she hated stuffy places.
“Okay now you can't deny it. You heard her.” William said, looking at Ethan and Luck.
Lily couldn't believe her ears when she heard him because he sounded really desperate.
When she was shown around, they went outside, and Ethan and Luck left them.
William looked at Lily and asked, "What is your real name?"
Lily didn't know if she should answer but since he already knew about the way she could change her name she had already revealed a part of herself.
“I'll tell you on the road but not here. I'm afraid people are listening, and your face is a magnet for ferocious werewolves.” she answered.
William smiled, looking forward to hearing her real name. He blew his silver whistle and the white griffin appeared and they flew towards his home.
"So, what's your name?" William asked curiously as they flew.
"My system is a bit tricky." Lily replied, telling him how it all came together.
"You can write it when we get to your home." William said.
She probably had a strange system that he didn't know about. It was not at all like the system that everyone used.
Where on earth did she come from?
After some time, Lily saw a lot of different kinds of buildings in a huge area.
“Is it all yours?” she asked in surprise.
"I have other places, but you promised to live here because I live over there in that building with the white round tower." answered William and pointed to a large building on the right that looked like a church mixed with a castle and it was strange to look at.
