When Lily came out to Jun De, she discovered that the red bird had flown with her and landed on her head.
"If you really want to join, I won't hold you back." she said smiling.
The bird chirped in delight and settled on her head. She hoped it didn't get into her hair like pigeons or seagulls because she had once gotten a seagull stain in her hair and a pigeon dropping on her trousers and coat.
To make sure, she said sternly, "If you shit or piss in my hair, I'll send you back here."
The bird did not answer because it had closed its eyes and it looked like it was sleeping. Lily took its silence as acceptance of her rules.
She mounted Jun De and flew towards the library. Violet had sent her their location via telepathy which entered her system. She thought it was funny when Violet didn't have a system, but it was probably because they were connected through their blood.
She landed in front of a large rectangular building which was the main library of Labunagaan. She went inside and immediately found Violet and Arba standing at the entrance and there were no other people present.
"My lady." Violet said walking over to her.
Lily looked at both to make sure nothing had happened to them, and she was most worried about Violet. Her plan was to rush and complete her cleric quest so she could level up. As she looked at the bookshelves, she remembered that she had forgotten to ask about Goddess Hebe's whereabouts.
She looked at Kenta who was hovering to her right and asked, "where does Hebe live?"
"In Amenale." he answered immediately.
She wasn't surprised when she heard that because Amenale was The Spirit World which definitely had something to do with souls and eternal life.
"Wait here." she said to Violet and Arba and ran around picking up all the books that were skill books because she didn't dare take the others in case someone discovered it.
As they were about to go outside, they heard a woman's voice say, “Miss, is there a reason why you only took skill books?”
Lily knew it was aimed at her and turned around immediately. This time she didn't feel guilty and chose to be honest.
There stood a woman with shoulder length black hair with dark eyes, pale skin and was petite and slim and about the same height as Lily. She was wearing a black ankle length dress, black boots and had a black cloak over her.
"I have unlocked a Dark Class but there are no skills, and I can only learn from physical books." she answered.
This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.
The woman looked curious and asked, "What is the name of the class you have taken?"
” Undead Empress but I can't find any information about it.” Lily replied, sighing.
When the woman heard that she was surprised and narrowed her eyes and studied her more closely.
"You are a unique.” she said in surprise.
"Yes, so I hope you understand my situation." Lily replied, embarrassed.
"Come with me. My mistress may be able to help you.” said the woman.
They passed through the library and entered a large living room with a jeweled chandelier that lit up the entire room. There sat a tall and slender woman in a long black dress, drinking tea and looking at a book. She had long black hair that was put up in a bun and had a hair clip with a red and black flower on the right side of her head. She was wearing black pearl earrings, dark eyes and black lipstick. She looked a bit like a vampire in Lily's eyes.
They went over to her, and the woman looked up and when she saw them, she was surprised.
” Mistress this…” but before the woman could finish her sentence the woman stood up and walked over to them.
“2 unique and a demonic puppet. There is something that does not add up.” she said, her eyes immediately falling on Lily.
Lily knew the woman might be able to help her and therefore had to be humble.
" Greetings mistress.” she said bowing to her.
"Your system is quite tricky and if we mention it too much we will be punished, but funnily enough we can use you as much as we want. The gods must have had fun.” chuckled the woman.
Lily didn't think it was funny, but it sure looked funny in other people's eyes.
"Since your class is unknown and you still need to unlock skills for Dark class, I can offer you another Dark class so you can receive skills. What do you think?" suggested the woman.
Elder Mage Gabriella is offering you a Dark Class. Do you want to accept?
Wow, Lily's heart beat rapidly in excitement and immediately said, “Yes please. I would very much like that, Mistress.” and humbly bowed before her.
"Good, but I can only offer the class that I have, so are you sure of your choice?" Gabriella asked.
“Yes, I’m absolutely sure.” Lily replied immediately without hesitation.
“Perfect. Since your class is special, no one in the world has it, so you must promise never to mention it to anyone, not even your closest ones.” Gabriella said.
"I'll take it to my grave." Lily promised, holding onto her chest.
Congratulations. You have become Elder Mage Gabriella's apprentice
Congratulations. You have unlocked a Hidden Class
Congratulations. You have received The Dark Class: Soul Manipulator
Wow, her heart was beating fast when she heard the words because it was beautiful music to her ears. She would check out her class when she got home. Finally, she could perform Dark Magic and was looking forward to getting started.
"The skill books you took from the library are useless to you so take this book,” Gabrielle said and handed over a huge black thick book that had a magic circle on the front.
She took out a black orb that was the size of a golf ball and gave it to Lily.
"You have to use this one carefully, otherwise I'll get into trouble. It can store souls and you don't need to visit a soul lord.”
Wow, Lily was excited again for this woman was a goddess and a treasure chest to her.
“You are my new goddess. I will pray for your health every day.” she said, being honest.
She had gotten a direct Hidden class and skill books and even a soul orb so now she didn't have to become a guild master to get one.
She said goodbye nicely but as she was about to leave, she heard Gabriella say, "Be careful not to use that system too much."
Lily nodded, taking the words with her because Nicolas Flamel and Baba Yaga had mentioned something similar.
