In a large black lake on a small wooden bridge sat an old man with a fishing rod fishing. He had a long white beard, long white hair, pale skin and had closed eyes. He had no wrinkles on his face, but he radiated something ancient and mysterious. He was wearing a white hanfu and he sat completely still without saying anything.

Suddenly a boy came up to him. He wore a black hanfu and had short blond hair, brown skin, and red eyes. He was wearing black bamboo sandals and had a little black dragon sitting on his right shoulder.

“Master. When are we going home?” he asked impatiently, looking at the man.

“Patience my boy. When it is captured, we go home.” answered the man without opening his eyes.

The boy sighed and complained, "You have spent millions of years catching a fish that is in a cave."

The man smiled and said, "When you have lived as long as I have, you discover that the small challenges suddenly turn into big challenges."

"Whether we wait several million years does not make a difference." said the boy and walked away annoyed.

He came to a large garden outside a large white temple that had an arched roof. There were a lot of children gathered who were engaged in various activities. Suddenly a girl came up to him with pale skin, blue eyes, long white hair and a white hanfu on. She had a necklace with a gold butterfly.

“Any progress?” she asked.

The boy shook his head and asked, “Shall we bet 50,000,000 this time?”

The girl giggled and replied, “You've lost all the other times. I bet by a year or less.”

"Are you crazy? That fish is in the den. I bet 1,000,000 this time.” said the boy.

Suddenly a young woman appeared with long black hair, pale skin, dark eyes, and she was wearing a long white dress with flowers sewn on it. She had a white rose in her hair and a pair of daisy earrings.

They bowed to her, and the girl asked, “Lady Wilma. Welcome. What brings you here?”

"Is Master still here?" Wilma asked.

They nodded and pointed behind them where there was a large black lake.

The woman went there immediately and when she arrived at the bridge, she looked at the water and at the old man who still had his eyes closed. It looked like he had turned to stone because he didn't move at all.

Wilma knelt and bowed and said, “Master. There is movement in The Mother Tree.”

The man suddenly opened his left eye which was jet black and had a gold ring floating inside. He fumbled with his beard under his chin and thought twice.

“You know how important that tree is. A small movement is nothing to worry about.” he said.

Wilma became concerned and asked, “Are you sure about that? The leaves began to fall just as quietly.”

“Old Wayan will take care of it if it is finally. Too many worries can give you wrinkles. You are not married yet. Have you found a man yet?”

Wilma's cheeks blushed and she replied, “Master. There is no time for jokes now. I'll leave you alone. Try to sit in the middle of the lake. Maybe you will make progress this time.”

She bowed to him again and hurried away.

The man chuckled and closed his eye and said, “Young people these days. There is so much for them to learn.”

When Wilma reached the temple, she saw that the girl and the boy were waiting for her.

They looked at her curiously and the boy asked, "Did you give him a tip?"

Wilma smiled and replied, "Yes, otherwise he will sit there forever." and walked away.

The girl poked at the boy and said, “I don't want to wait for Master anymore. The rest of you can stay here, but I'm bored.”

The boy got annoyed and said, “I'm bored too but I'll stay here. Someone must feed him and look after the place.”

The girl smiled and extended her right hand to him and said, "You’ve lost the bet now that Wilma helped Master."

" Tch." said the boy and took out a beautiful gold sword that had a red ruby on the hilt.

The girl accepted the sword and looked at the other children but knew they would not go with her either and shook her head.

"You're starting to look too much like Master. Make sure his personality doesn't rub off on you.” she said.

"I’m his first disciple so I will take over everything in the future." said the boy looking proud.

The girl laughed loudly and said, "We are all his disciples, and no one gets special treatment."

She went to the bridge and looked at the man and explained that she wanted to go home and see how things were now that they had been gone for so many years.

"Understood, just don't make too much of a fuss." he said.

The girl looked at the lake and suddenly saw bubbles in the water and her heart beat an extra beat. That fish had woken up so that meant her master could catch one soon and she would actually win the bet. She poked her head over the edge of the bridge and looked down at the water. She narrowed her eyes and saw a pair of large red eyes staring at her. There were a pair of red sharp pointed teeth, and she could sense some gold whiskers but couldn't see the rest of the body. She looked back at her master who was still sitting with his eyes closed and smiled at him.

“Master. I get everything ready at home. I look forward to seeing you soon.” she said and went to hug him.

The man smiled and said. "Actually, I have a task for you."

The girl got excited and her heart beat faster and asked, “What shall I do for you Master?”

"You must look for a certain person who has an abnormal spirit flow in the body." he answered.

"Master, everyone has it in their bodies. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack.” lamented the girl and pouted.

The man chuckled and gave her a crystal ring and said, “There are some things you must give to that person. You are smart so I know you can do the job.”

The girl became very happy and knew that her master saw her as a special person to him and accepted the ring and hugged him again and hurriedly ran back to the temple. She said goodbye to the other children and suddenly a large white Chinese dragon appeared. It had a snake's body and whiskers and white horns on its forehead and white eyes. She sat on the dragon, and they flew towards the sky and disappeared immediately.
