My Amazing Unique Class
89. The Demonic Puppet Arba

89. The Demonic Puppet Arba

When Lily and Violet stood at the portal to Labunagaan Lily was surprised because the place looked completely normal on the other side. It was a city made up of gold buildings and it looked magical. They went through the portal and when they stood on the other side, they stood on a large lawn only a few meters from the city of gold which Lily assumed was the capital where everyone stayed. William had sent her a map of the area where the undead lived and honestly, she wasn't excited to go there even though she had Violet with her who was a demon.

To ensure her safety, she chose to do away with the black books she had been given by the various deities and hoped they were strong enough to protect her.

She looked at Jun De and said, “If there’s danger then save Violet first as she’s not soul bound to an obelisk.”

"Understood." Jun De replied.

When Violet heard her, she looked at her worriedly and said, “Mistress. I'm a demon so basically, I can't die.”

"I know that but remember that Baba Yaga could not revive her plants and only I could do it. I’ve been resurrected for a reason but unfortunately, I do not yet know what role I play.” Lily said.

Since she had chosen to take Violet and her sisters under her wing, she would do anything to protect them. If things really went wrong, she could ask William for help since he had a soul orb that could store souls.

They put on their hoods and walked towards the city and Lily soul bound herself to an obelisk.

They flew on Jun De towards the land of the undead and Lily was not looking forward to it. It was a nightmare land she had to visit, and she felt that her Hidden class was to test her courage. She was terrified of everything to do with death, and she was afraid of The Soul Reaper and never wanted to meet him.

20 minutes later they saw a land that had a blood red sky where the whole area was in darkness. Luckily because of her class she and Violet had night vision, so the darkness wasn't a problem.

When they stood some distance from the border of the land of the undead, Lily looked around. There were countless gravestones and much further ahead there were flying around skeletal figures in hooded cloaks which were ragged, and they looked like death. Some of them had red eyes and some were walking around normally. There were also people dressed in normal clothes who would look like humans if you were drunk enough or half blind, but their skin was green, and they looked like zombies because their faces looked like something someone had taken a bite of or something that had been melted in very high heat. The skin hung down on them and you could see into the skull and the jaws of some had dislocated. They walked around and talked like humans and did activities. Some looked after the graves, swept the ground and others helped some black zombie pigs to gather in one place.

A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.

It looked completely surreal, and Lily felt like she had been thrown into an RPG game. They went far away from the place so she could use summons. Since she was in an undead area and in order not to offend anyone, it was better to blend into the crowd with them.

She looked at Violet and asked, "Since you're a demon I assume they see me as a demon too?"

"Yes of course. You have the same blood as us. We could smell that when you were saving us.” Violet replied, smiling at her.

Lily breathed a sigh of relief and looked at the 3 black books:

Book of the Dead: Can summon an army of undead

Book of Strings: Can summon a demonic puppet

Book of The Dead: Can summon an army of skeletons

She would summon a puppet as her bodyguard and would have the army of the undead and skeletons ready in case things went wrong. If they were weak, they could at least buy her time to run away.

She took out the Book of Strings and activated it. Suddenly the book opened, and the black pages started flipping by themselves as if the wind was blowing past them but she couldn't feel a wind. She only managed to blink once before a large red magic circle appeared on the ground in front of her. It had ancient symbols that looked like something from a cult film where you summoned a demon or the devil and were completely frightened. She really didn't hope the devil would come to visit now.

Suddenly a head appeared of a person who slowly emerged and a moment later a man in armor stood in front of her. He was at least 2 meters tall and had black hair to his ears. His skin was pale, his eyes were red, and he was dressed in black armor and had a long red cloak on. Had a huge sword hanging on his back that almost looked like a snowboard where the shaft was wrapped in a red ribbon. He looked robust and had a serious face.

“G- greetings.” Lily said nervously.

" Greetings Mistress. My name is Arba and I’m at your service.” introduced the puppet and bowed humbly to her.

She was surprised it had intelligence and manners compared to her stupid clone which was a big mistake.

“I need you to protect me. Can you do that?" she asked.

"Of course." Arba replied, smiling at her.

Since he was demonic, Lily assumed that the undead wouldn't do anything to him since he had something to do with demons. She didn't want to attack the undead because she was afraid of offending a Lich King or something similar and already had enough bounties on her head.

They slowly started to walk towards the undead and Lily held Violet's hand because her body was shaking because she was really scared and had anxiety.

" Mistress. " You tend to be fearless. It's a new side of you I haven't seen.” Violet said, noticing her reaction.

"Everyone has a fear and mine is anything to do with death." Lily said in a low voice.

As they approached the undead who were closest to them, they did not react when they saw them and continued with their activities. It just looked like they were being ignored.

"Are we invisible to them?" Lily asked surprised.

"No because we are demons, so we are somewhat higher than those in this world." Violet replied.

Lily was relieved when she heard those words and smiled. A moment ago, she could hear her heart beating fast in anxiety but now it was beating normally again.

When they had walked for 5 minutes, a huge black city appeared in front of them where the buildings looked completely normal and intact, and nothing was in ruins.

Lily suddenly saw the undead in a different light and was admired and amazed. Since she didn't know what she was looking for, she wanted to see if there was a library where there might be different books for Dark Class.
