When Lily landed in front of William's mansion, which had large glass windows, she saw him coming out to her.
"Have you eaten lunch?" he asked.
"Not yet." she replied, and they went inside and cooked some food together.
Luckily it was quick as William had most of it in his system, so he took out the dishes while Lily placed them on the table. While they were eating, she told about her little get-together party in 2 days for her future group which she called an army since she couldn't make a guild.
William was happy for her but worried and said, "You don't have a soul orb so how do you insure their lives?"
Lily smiled widely and took out the soul orb and showed it to him.
William stopped eating and looked at it, sticking his head right up to it to study it more closely. He had never seen that kind of orb before because all the ones a guild master could get were all the same.
"I don't want to ask where you got it from, but be careful using it, especially in public. It has ancient symbols engraved on it that the others do not.” he advised.
Lily nodded, understanding what he meant by his words. It meant that hers was special, which she already knew. She had personally gotten it from Gabrielle, so it wasn't a guild master soul orb. They continued to eat, and William still wondered about her orb and chose to check out her stats. He dropped his fork in shock and stared at her like she was a monster.
“Now it's not surprising why you have that orb. You have unlocked 3 Hidden classes.” he said admiring her.
"It wasn't easy, believe me." Lily said, pouting because it was true.
She had been used as a carrier pigeon for all of them but in the end, it had paid off. She was reminded of the expression ' no pain, no gain ' which fit perfectly here.
When they had eaten, they flew towards the forest which lay behind them.
William said, "I'll stop you if you do something stupid." since he hadn't forgotten what happened last time.
"I'm not so reckless anymore." Lily said and pouted.
William was relieved to hear her and hoped she wasn't lying to him because he had gotten to know her personality after they spent some time together. She either had mood swings or just didn't think about her actions before doing them. With her intelligence, he couldn't put it together.
They landed in front of Cyrene's house and Lily was relieved that there wasn't a swarm of grasshoppers that had attacked them on the way there because she hadn't forgotten The Queen of Grasshoppers. They went to the house and saw that there was movement in the chimney.

Lily knocked on the door and asked, “Mistress, are you home?”
A moment later the door opened and a beautiful woman with long red hair in a black dress stood before them.
"Do you already miss me so much?" Cyrene asked looking at Lily and smiling.
"I need your help." Lily replied.
"Come on in. I was making tea.” Cyrene said and they went inside and sat around the living room table on a sofa.
Cyrene made them tea and sat across from them, looking at them curiously. She looked at William very surprised and nodded and then looked at Lily.
“Is that your husband? You have done well. I’m proud." she said, smiling.
Lily wanted to answer no but when she heard the word 'proud' she chose not to.
"Not yet. We are working on it.” she said, her cheeks blushing.
"I’ve already proposed to her." William said with a big smile.
Cyrene became even happier and said, "Remember not to forget my invitation to your wedding."
Ugh, Lily felt she was surrounded by crazy people all the time and her mistress had now also been infected by the crazy infection.
She quickly changed the subject, "I came to ask if you have a method where you can track down my mother and see if she’s still alive."
Cyrene was surprised and said, "I didn't think you had a family."
Lily didn't understand her words and was confused and told that she had parents and a little sister and how Lu had helped her find the vampire city.
"Do you have anything that reminds you of your mother because your blood is not enough." Cyrene said.
Lily had nothing from her mother apart from the pearl earrings that she had given her when they were in Hawaii, but she no longer had them. She was reminded of the earrings she had gotten earlier which looked like them to a point.
"Could it just be something similar because I don't have anything blood related." she said.
"It can be anything from a watch to a sour sock." Cyrene explained.
Lily nodded and took out the small jewelry box and took out a pearl earring and gave it to Cyrene hoping it worked.
When Cyrene saw the earrings, she was completely captivated and said, “They are incredibly beautiful. They don't look like anything man-made.”
“It was a gift.” Lily said which was true as the man had given them to her, and her mother had done the same.
Cyrene clasped her right hand around the pearl and closed her eyes. Many minutes passed where she sat with her eyes closed without moving and Lily thought she had been paralyzed and suddenly became worried and looked at William who reacted completely normally. She trusted him and they waited for a longer time. 10 minutes later, Cyrene opened her eyes and Lily looked at her anxiously, her heart beating faster.
"Your mother is alive but there is someone holding her captive. I was blocked when I tried to check the person.” Cyrene said.
Lily knew immediately that it was the disgusting man, and she was relieved that her mother was alive.
"Where are they?" she asked.
"As mentioned, I was blocked and only an artifact from a deity or something higher can block me." replied Cyrene.
She described what the place looked like where her mother was held captive, but Lily couldn't use it for anything as it was just a dark room that could be anywhere in the world.
They said their goodbyes politely but as they were about to leave Lily was reminded of the pimp and his feathered hat which she remembered clearly. It wasn't the disgusting man, but there was something familiar about him.
She looked at Cyrene and asked, "Would it help if I found something connected to that man?"
"Yes, definitely because then I can sneak around that artifact. Since I could only trace your mother, I’m not allowed to trace the person holding her prisoner.” replied Cyrene.
It sounded confusing to Lily's ears, but it also made sense at the same time. She promised to come back with something else that Cyrene could use to find her mother.
When they had flown away Cyrene looked up at the blue sky and asked softly, "Is that her?" and sighed.
